I ve had my Honda serviced at the Commonwealth location for almost 24 years and never have they disappointed me. Courteous and informative. My present service advisor is Teresa Guzman tops. In the past I ve had Robert Hall, another outstanding advisor. And the recently now retired head mechanic, Ron, kept my car rolling and happy. He did the timing belts and other mechanical work on my car and was a good man to take the car for a diagnostic ride. They always addressed your needs and were patient in explaining any mechanical work. And most importantly, you trusted them. I can t say enough good things about this Service Department. And none of this is exaggeration. I m about to retire my car and because of this Department, I m considering another Honda.

I am very satisfied with my experience at Herb Chambers Honda Boston. From the moment I arrived to the moment I drove my car off the lot, the customer service was exceptional. Sonny, my sales associate, was professional and knowledgeable and helped me to find the perfect car. He also assisted my husband and I in switching our insurance plan, saving us a lot of money on our monthly premiums. We also met Tom, the general manager, who was very pleasant to work with as well. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend for anyone looking to lease/buy.

I am a returning customer of Herbchambers simple because of Alex Omoregie. I've lease and purchased over 5 cars through him. He is pleasant, professional and genuine. I never feel pressured, but always walk away feeling I got the best deal I could possibly get. My most recent lease was a Honda pilot which I got through Alex last Saturday November 5th. Its hard to say this when talking about most car sales guys, but Alex O. made the process amazingly smooth and easy. I walked into Herb Chambers Honda in Boston to see what was involved with leasing a car. I had always owned one. Hudson Charles helped me through the process it was so easy. He was able to get the car I wanted and had it ready to go when I needed it. I had some problems getting a resident parking sticker. One call and Hudson and the necessary paperwork and I could complete everything on my day off.
Leasing works for me.
It has been almost a month and I still feel I could contact Hudson with any questions. He was great!!!

I decided to opt for Herb Chambers Honda in Boston due to recommendation by friends.
I was not disappointed. Mr Keith Banks and his assistant Saurabh helped me throughout the process. Mr Keith got me a very good deal and the finance manager Jose Soto was very helpful and explained me the finances well. I had good experience dealing with Herb Chambers Honda and particularly Mr Keith, there were times when we hit roadblock but Mr Keith and Mr Jose were able to sort it out. Being a recent graduate it can be daunting task to setup your finances to buy a car. But it went pretty smooth and I was thoroughly explained every step and procedure.
I am very satisfied and will recommend Mr Keith and HerbChambers Honda to my friends.

Reached out on Friday regarding a 2017 Buick Encore. Had an appointment today (Tuesday). They called me Monday and Tuesday (today) confirming my appointment. I told them I wanted just the Buick. I sit down and I m informed the car has a deposit. They took a deposit Sunday at 4. So drove all this way, with them confirming my appointment to not have the car I want.

We had a great experience at Honda on Comm ave, they take good care of our cars! Especially want to mention Pat, Dana and Robert for the combination of these guys is a perfect sell! Pat helps us with purchases, Dana helps with the process being very simple and Robert always comes through for repairs/check ups! Great team and great leaders over there. My wife made a 6:20pm service appointment online to have her oil changed. We arrived at 6 o'clock and preceded to go check in only to be told that all servicing stops at 5 o'clock. After standing there staring at the lady awkwardly for a few seconds, we left. The next morning my wife received an email telling her how sorry they were that we had missed our appointment. I called and talked to the lady and she said there was nothing she could do, she was surprised we were even able to make the appointment online, and that we would have to walk in between seven and five. All in all the customer service was very lacking as in there was no customer service and the computer system needs updated to avoid future inconvenience.

I had a good experience buying my Civic Si here. Gerson at Herb Chambers Honda of Boston provided me with excellent service. He was very professional. Explained every detail of the car, finance and paperwork. He gave time and space to decide. Showed interest in earning my business for this car and for the future. They had the car ready for a test drive with no questions asked. Many dealership wants to know if you are really interested to buy before they offer to test drive. Definitely recommend this dealership to buy a car

About 8 years ago I purchased a car from Herb Chambers Mini of Boston and had a great experience. In November 2019, I went to Herb Chambers Honda in Boston to lease a new car and was assisted by Mary Lopez who is fantastic. I recommend her to anyone looking for a new or used car. Mary is genuinely respectful and explains every part of the process with patience. It was the first dealership where someone took the time to go over things in detail with me and helped me choose the best option. After visiting other dealerships in the area, I will go to Herb Chambers from now on.

I just leased a new 2018 Honda Accord and the service provided by Keith Banks-Obanor was nothing short of exceptional and efficient. I came in with concerns that my time would not be used well, but since I had expressed these concerns in advance, due to my busy life, they really obliged and did everything to streamline the process for me, from negotiating to pickup. Overall, very satisfied with Keith's service and the service at this location, as I have been leasing cars from them for 20 years now, with a brief membership on Zipcar in between my past leases and this one. It's good to come back to this dealer, they never disappoint with the service they provide and every encounter has always been extremely professional. My previous senior sales rep. was James, who is now at Infinity I believe, and he plays Orchestra, and service continuity is clear from back then to now.

I was in market for Honda CRV Turing model. Herb Chambers Honda in Boston beat the price of every other Honda dealer upfront even without any negotiation. I also traded in my Toyota Sienna van for which they offered best price compared to all other dealers. I wish I gotten lil more for my Sienna, but they were best among all offers, so I had to take it.

I am very satisfied with my recent experience at this location. Since I bought my Honda Accord 3 years ago, every year I have different experiences when I did the maintenance. This year I had the best one. This location is very easy to find. The service center is clean and organized. Also, my service advisor Tony is very professional and helpful. I am so happy that service department has someone who are bilingual. He is so patient and friendly. Sometimes I didn't really understand the technical terms, he explained them to me in my language. The price that I got was reasonable. I referred this advisor and this location to my friends.

I just spent 1.5 hours at the service department on a beautiful Sunday morning. When I inquired as to how much longer I had to wait for my oil change to be completed, I was told it was not even started! How is this possible when there only a handful of customers? Although the gentleman who checked me in took my keys and and auto and gave me a number, there was a second step, which I was unaware of, that they never took. ( nor was I told about this second step; I mean how many people must I tell I am here for an oil change?)When I asked what they were doing with my car all that time I was waiting the answer was nothing.
Most maddening of all, they said it was my fault for sitting quietly in the waiting room waiting for my number to be called! unbelievable!

Went there to look at a used car. Spent a significant amount of time waiting around. Despite being listed for a week the car was filthy inside with dirt and hair. Although the salesman was nice enough, the sales manager was very aggressive and unpleasant. It seems they overprice their vehicles and try to sell people on their service. That was clearly lacking.

I purchased a car from Herb Chambers Honda Boston over a month ago. As part of the sale and the return of my lease I was promised a check for over $700. I was told I would receive if by the end of the week.

Over a month later and countless calls to different sales managers and my salesman Taylor, I m still sitting here empty handed. I ve been constantly blown off and assured that the check was on the way only to find nothing in the mail.

This has been by far the worst car buying experience of my life and would not recommend Herb Chambers Honda Boston to anyone.

I just leased my first car with this dealership and had the most incredible experience. The general manager, Kenny Giordano, is extremely attentive, polite, and helpful. He made my experience very smooth and comfortable for someone who is new to leasing a car. My salesman, Ryan Cahill, was absolutely amazing as well. Ryan took the time to appreciate my situation as a new car owner and helped me with every little issue that came about during the process. Ryan explained every little detail of the leasing process, car features, and so much more. He was patient, friendly, and very helpful. The only thing they want is your money! After they sell you a car, they never help you and forget all their promises, even treat you like a liar! They sold us a car by saying it is in a perfect condition, a slightly used car. But we paid to get AC fixed after two weeks. They offered us free oil change as an apology, then when we came back after 4 months they said they cant help, and refused to listen to me while I was describing the guy I talked to before. He even didnt believe me and he was nonpolite. After I came back again(and found the guy I talked to, so i proved i wasn t lying), he acted as if I requested a full maintenance service for free and acted as if he already offered me free oil change and blamed me for being impossible to settle with... This was even more ridiculous and funny; he was just lying to deny his fault. After all these, they offered a small discount, which meant nothing to me and I just left by thinking never to stop by again. Their services are already expensive and slow so dont make the mistake of buying a car or making your car repaired here.

Alex Yanovsky is exceptional at his job. He makes the car buying process a pleasure. I did not feel like he was a salesman, it felt like he was a caring grandfather who wanted to help me get a new car as quickly as possible with the least amount of pressure. I didn't feel duped, or disrespected as a women which often happens at dealerships who think women can't do math and understand their magic math. He went through a straight honest financial process with the monthly amounts and worked well with his manager Forest Frangiamore. Forest negotiates in a way that is direct and therefore does not stretch the back and forth to an all day process. I was out of there with a new car in no time. Dahl at the service center went above and beyond to help me with my vehicle. He came along with me for a test drive prior to the service tech looking at the vehicle. He followed up with me through out the time I had to wait for my vehicle to be fixed. He was very professional and helpful. I felt at ease which is usually not the norm for me when I have my car serviced at other dealerships.
I can not remember the name of the service tech that worked on my vehicle but he was amazing also.Anytime he needed to show me something he brought me back to the vehicle and we also went on a test drive to make sure he was best fixing the issue the way he knew how.
I have been a Honda customer for about 5 years now and I have been to many different Honda dealerships to service my vehicle. This was by far the best service I have recieved across all of those other dealerships I have gone to in MA. Thank you to both of the people that helped me on 12/26/2019. I will be back!

Reviews not my thing but this is needed. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. After 20 calls and 30 emails from this place all from different employees. My girlfriend asks me to go with here as she got a mailer saying she is APPROVED for a vehicle. I told her to call confirm and they on email too. They PROMISED us she will GET a car. We asked all the questions and concerns about CREDIT. They said do not worry just COME IN COME IN PLEASE COME IN. Begging us to come in, we did. The girl who made the appointment PROMISED she will be there was NOT THERE. She was OFF. Two sales people walked passed us and we asked the manager at the desk help as we had an APPOINTMENT. They kept us waiting 25 minutes exact. The salesperson said YOU MUST DO A CREDIT APP. We asked for the car selection first and test drive. The manager came over said if you will not do a credit application you can GO. Said the mailer was just a way of bringing in CLIENTS then they will TELL you what car to spend the rest of your life in. HORRIBLE- the salespeople on the phone LIE to bring you in so the managers can UPSELL you and DAMAGE YOUR CREDIT IF YOU DONT COMPLY.

We left after an hour of these unprofessionals wasting our time. ZERO STARS.

At the end I was really happy with my choice, because Victor was as trust worthy as the moto on his personalised pens, ''A name you can trust!''. The service department recommended that I flush and replace my vehicle's power steering fluid after bringing it in for routine maintenance. Luckily, I declined the service because it turns out that my vehicle has an electric power steering system and there's no power steering fluid to flush/replace. Always get a second opinion and better yet, find a small shop you can trust and avoid giving your business to this dealership or any other dealership. You're most likely paying too much for service/repairs that you might not even need.

Herb chambers is one of the best car dealerships we've been too. We went through a ton of dealerships that wouldn't help us because we had really bad credit that we're trying to build up from the many mistakes we made. First person we talked to was Paul he was amazing he knew a 100% that he could get us approved after being denied by almost every dealership we were a little skeptical of him but he never stopped proving to us that he had our back a 100% and would make this work for us!
We then put our faith in them a little more and talked to the general manager Tom Pasquarella who is one of the first managers I've ever met who cared about his customers and wanted to make sure that this worked out in our favor because we've been through so much trying to get approved. We had a terribly unreliable van that was falling apart and needed help ASAP. Jose Yapul recommended this car to us and first full day into this far and we love it. Tylor Shurick worked closely with Tom to make sure everything went smoothly called us that morning to tell us the amazing news of how we were accepted and could get our car today. I highly recommend this place to everyone if you want down to earth employees who want to help you and not make you feel terrible about your credit. They are there to help and definitely showed it! Thanks guys!

The car looked spectacular, and tipped the nice man who brought it out to me. However the customer service guy would be better off at a position where he doesn't work directly with the public.

There were three instances, or each time we needed to speak, that he was flip and condescending regarding the condition of my car. When I came to drop the car, no other customers were on line and it took him fifteen minutes just to check my car in. No explaination but sort of giggled at me when I told him I had a driver waiting in the car for me outside of the gated area, sort of double-parked.

Okay, his main gripe was about some dog hair, but I assured him and everyone reading this, that my dog doesn't "livel in the car....has probably been in a half dozen times to and from appointments since the last time I've had it cleaned in April. He said he should have charged me more when I dropped the car off. Now I'm thinking, so isn't this why people drop off cars for interior cleaning? They're dirty. Have had this car for four years and never once has anyone said they need to charge me more because my car was excessively "hairy". So all this was said over the phone to me when I called to say I would be picking the car up the next day. He kept telling me to calm down when I tried to get some detail from him.

So the next day at 4pm when I get there to pick up the car, he walks up to his desk as I'm standing there and loudly announces "oh, the you're the one with the car with all the dog hair." Nice way to great a customer?

The car looked beautiful so I was happy about that and thanked the driver and tipped him well.

Please place this guy in a different job. He's not a natural at this, far from it. Really put me in a bad mood.

I worked with Hasan Reid who worked very hard to get me a monthly payment and lease term I could work with for a nice Insight with only 29,000 miles. I had a slightly more complicated situation moving from another state and purchasing the vehicle with an out of state license, which did cause for some minor delays in communications, but all was rectified in a timely manner once it was addressed. Everyone I dealt with was nice and respectful. Thanks again.

Over priced. They tried to charge me $4K in repairs (new brakes, spark plug, etc.) that they said were urgent. I went to Midas the next day and got everything done for $1.5K. The Honda service manager said it was because their labor rates were high, but the difference in price is almost criminal. I don't trust them.

Visited this past Saturday for a scheduled oil/filter change. Service at the new location was horrific, not sure if I just had been lucky at their last local, but bad enough that it's compelling me to write a review.
Scheduled my oil change and showed up on time- there's no signage/direction for service and entry, so good luck with that- and the employee inside was short with me because I didn't have service paperwork, which I didn't get because I had no idea where the service area was and there were no service employees outside. I brought my car around and got my paperwork (btw the folks oustide taking cars and filing out paperwork were great, this isn't about them) went back inside and had the same employee, Kyle. When he checks me in, he lets me know that even though I had an appointment, it could be a two hour wait "because we're just really busy and it IS a Saturday"...right. With that, I asked for the shuttle to take me home, to which I get back "we're really short staffed and the shuttle might take longer to get up and running"...seriously? I had booked a "waiting" appointment and not the shuttle option, but the shuttle should be operational 3 hours after you've opened. So, instead of waiting up to two hours because they're "really busy" and "it IS Saturday" after all, I end up taking an uber home $10+. 40 minutes later I'm home and I get a call saying my car is ready. Yeah. I uber back, $15+, and there's no one at the check-in area, so I'm left 10+ minutes standing there with people whizzing back and forth (it was busy, so no foul, but may be worth having a stationary attendant to help cue up your customers). My previous attendant, Kyle, comes back and hands my my bill while bringing me to his desk, so I told him I had the online coupon (printed from the site $39.99 oil/filter change) to which he stopped dead in his tracks, scoffed, said, "ugh, I'm going to have to reprint this" and walked away to his desk. He reprints, hands me my bill and sends me to pay, which I do, and then my key can't be found. Various employees trying to figure out if someone got my car already, where my key is, if someone is getting it etc... Car pulls up and, as I'm getting in, I get a phone call from another employee there offering to buy my car and put me in a new car...I HADN'T EVEN GOTTEN IN MY CAR YET.

So, after uber fees, lost time, and an unnecessary amount of frustration for that early on a Saturday I most likely won't be going back unless I have to for a recall. To be honest, had the service rep been a little friendlier and less annoyed by a customer, I might not have bothered to be on here.

Suggestions:
Please help your customers by adding more directed signage for service area/check-in. You're still new, so I get it, but a number of us were aimlessly driving/walking around the parking lots.

Maybe have a dedicated front desk at service to help check in/direct customers like at the last location.

Work with your service reps to develop a better strategy on delivering timeline. I know it's not their fault you're busy, but maybe some better support with resources to help placate frustrated customers or training on what not to say to further add to a bad situation.
