I REALLY enjoyed my experience here this past Friday!! I recently had a Nissan Murano but wanted to get back into Honda (for savings purpose and etc). I have in the past worked with Jay Levin and got Civic so I knew EXACTLY who to call again for Honda needs! He took care of me as he did before. His generosity, honestly, and making me his #1 priority meant everything to me (considering I had other obligations to do that day). In the process of me deciding to get my car I had the pleasure of meeting Sean (one of the finance managers) to discuss not just about the car BUT how to make me a permanent Honda owner and also ways to accommodate me long term with my purchase. He added the second part of car experience unforgettable!!! I finally ended it in with another generous Honda worker by the name of Alex Alegria (in the business department) who WORKED ME OUT A SPLENDID DEAL!!! We stayed in there for hours (not just doing the dreadful paperwork) but he actually took the time to develop a customer relationship with me!

We brought in our Honda CRV as both the engine and the rear brakes were making noises. Daniel Smith was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient in answering our questions. After they diagnosed the problem he put the car back up on the lift to show me the issue and found an aftermarket part as I needed a replacement. I admittedly have my guard up when I enter a dealership but was surprisingly at ease as the team gave me options and worked with me on pricing. I don't plan on returning often, but when I do, I'll see Daniel.
I want to start by saying that this is my second vehicle purchase from Hendrick Honda. My husband and I are young professionals and are fairly new to Charlotte. Our first purchase came as a result of a blown transmission in my husband's 99 Accord. The service we received from Amanda Bender was simply amazing.
We wanted to purchase a new vehicle for myself. Of course our first and only stop was Hendrick Honda. We were fortunate enough to work with Amanda both times. Amanda is friendly, professional, and just an all around awesome person. This visit was nothing less than exceptional. We even sat and spoke with the sales manager, Sean McLane, and had no idea of his title. That speaks volumes of the service level at Hendrick in my opinion He too went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
The entire staff is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. There was never a moment where either of us felt unwelcomed. My husband tends to ask a lot of questions--all of which were answered without hesitation. The process was seamless.
We strongly recommend Hendrick Honda and they will continue to get our business. Do not even waste your time visiting other dealerships, especially if you're in the market for a Honda.

Great service and very quick turn around for the body shop with great warranty on the work. Nice happy folks too. Cars for rental are alwaus clean and sales staff is no-pressure-lets-work-with-your-budget people.
Sitting in the dealership now. I hate coming to this place. Do not come to this dealer for service unless only they can do it and then I would still suggest going to another Honda dealer. Mechanics are not very honest and try to charge you for things that are truly not needed. Today I came to get my 2006 Odyssey aligned. Since I have the touring model and it has certain tires they can only align it at the dealership. Poor Honda Design on this one. I come for an alignment and after being in the waiting room for 75 minutes they come over and tell me I need over 3000 dollars of "repairs" to pass an inspection. I say no thank you. They then come back 15 minutes later and tell me that if I get those items fixed later I would then need another alignment. I still say no thanks on the repairs. They then tell me they will start the alignment now. WHAT!!!! you mean I came in for one thing, an alignment, you have had my van for 75 minutes and you have not even done the thing I asked you to do? So now I guess I am going to have to wait for yet another hour for them to do what they were supposed to do at the beginning. Also one more thing. They started an inspection on the van and the with the the items pointed out they say it will not pass. So now they are charging me for an inspection. What really tops it off is that they are charging me for an inspection with tint. My van only has the stock tint and I have not put tint on the windows, maybe an honest mistake??? I don't trust these people and will not come back here again.

After driving the same car for 12 years, it was time for an upgrade. The professionals at Hendrick Honda, especially Adair Griffin, Sean McLane and Shon Moye. During our test drive, Adair quite literally saved our lives with her quick thinking and cool demeanor when another car nearly T-boned the passenger side of the car where I was sitting. She remained professional and calm throughout the entire event. After returning to the dealership, at least 3 people came over to check in with Adair and I after hearing of our eventful test drive. Needless to say, I walked away with a great car, a memorable experience and some new friends. Highly recommend Hendrick Honda for all your purchasing and maintenance needs! Great people!

I usually don't write reviews but I had to this time. I went to this place to book a car, and to my surprise, the salesman was so rude to me and my husband that I had to walk out of this place. The salesman's name was Sam, I believe. He literally had this arrogant tone and I guess he had already made up his mind that we wouldn't buy the car. And the worst part is I even heard him mutter something about us to his colleague. Such a terrible experience. Would never come back here. I would rather pay extra and get some decent service elsewhere.
The crew was very knowledgeable and was more than willing to work with me to find a car that was in my range and filled my needs. I would highly recommend Hendricks Honda. Ask for David G!!

I came in to the dealership yesterday trying to decide on a 2013 Accord Sport over a new 2014. PAUL YORK came out to greet us and all went great from there! We test drove the 2014, Paul is very familiar with this car (as he has one) and was able to tell me about the in and outs of the car and all it offers! After sitting down to discuss the price, warranty info, etc we decided on the 2014! Valerie was really nice and helpful! I was having a stressful day already but she made the car shopping part of it much easier. The process was smooth and easy, and she was super friendly! When I took the car home I noticed some spots or something on the back (some kind of dirt or mud?) that were really hard to get off. So I took the car back and asked her if the shop could clean it. I felt really sheepish to ask, but she took care of me and was really cool about it. All in all, a very nice experience that made the stress of car-buying easy to swallow. Would definitely recommend!

I worked with RONNIE RUSSELL on two occasions. I bought a 08 Camry that was as advertised. He held it for me like he said it would and had it ready for me when I arrived at the lot. The second time I bought a 06 Accord and just like the Camry it was as advertised. He won t tell you anything just to make you happy he will tell you the truth and has a great personality. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a car.
I recently had multiple items serviced on my, 2015 Honda Accord. Everything was completed efficiently and without incident. I was initially greeted by Don Gunn, and, he did an excellent job of setting everything in motion and keeping me informed as each item was completed. My only complaint would be that I felt that the oil change was a bit expensive, especially, when compared to quick service locations. I will definitely be a regular customer of this location. I didn't expect to buy a car at Hendrick Honda when I came on Saturday, but the great price, the amazing service by Troy and easy going, no pressure (as is normally associated with the car buying process) made me really happy to have purchased my RAV4. So much so I brought my brother the next day and he also bought a vehicle! He had the same easy going experience and feels just as happy to have done business with Hendrick Honda. Highly recommend my man Troy!
Had an appointment at 11:45am. Car code diagnostics not pulled until 3pm. Said they would need to diagnose it further and that the car wouldn't likely be ready by end of day. I gave them the same codes they pulled when I booked my appointment. At the time they said they use a different code system. Lies. Whe pressed on why even have an appointment if the car was just going to sit unseen for over half a day they said I could come pick up my vehicle if I wanted to, no charge. Upon picking up the car, they made sure that I didn't talk to anybody who could have addressed my issue. Huge waste of time. I will not be back.
Edit: Because there is a reply to this review and Google won't let me counter-reply. The reservation was under my Mom's name. Since they have the day and time of my appointment, they could have looked up appointments at that time and matched the last names. To me, this reply is an attempt to make me look stupid (are you sure you went to the right place?) and to put doubt in the mind of anybody reading this review as to its legitimacy. I have posted a picture of the paperwork I was given there to put any legitimacy claims to rest. I have emailed her per her request and will follow up with the outcome of that dialog.
Very disappointed in the level of service that I received. I was a former fan of Hendrick Honda when I purchased my brand new 2013 Honda Accord two years ago. My troubles began in June of this year when my car was misdiagnosed as a dead battery and they attempted to charge me for replacement stating it was "wear and tear". After I complained to Honda Customer Care they agreed to extend me a " courtesy" and replace the battery with a new one with a 3-year warranty. Only a month and a half later and I was facing the same dilemma early morning in an attempt to take my children to school and myself to work, only to discover my 2013 Honda Accord wouldn't start once again. On this second occasion not only was my car misdiagnosed a second time but I was also flat out LIED to, when the technician blamed me and said that an interior light was left on that drained the battery. I told the technician that he was lying and that I was in disbelief that he would even say a light left on could "kill" a brand new battery overnight. Nonetheless, they decided to extend me yet another "courtesy" and replace the battery again. Then guess what...a month and a half later early morning and my car wouldn't start for the third time. I had to call roadside assistance again and take my car in. One would think that the Honda service professions would be apologetic or concerned as my issue had been misdiagnosed twice before and I've missed work and my children missed school. Well no, I received uncaring, uninterested, condescending, belittling treatment that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I spent over four hours at the dealership before they reluctantly decided to give me a 2013 Honda Civic loaner that had crumbs on the seats, coffee spills and a broken rear camera. When they gave me this loaner they expected me to do flips as the technician told me at least five times that they were giving me a "free" car to drive. There is so much more to my story but I'm tired of reliving this nightmare that's not even over. I unfortunately have to go back in now due to an issue of my vehicle settings not being restored after my service was completed. Oh I will say the twice misdiagnosed problem was a parasitic draw on my battery from an electrical component in my passenger door!
Out service counselor Andrea was very friendly and professional. She listened to our concerns and kept us aware of the repair issue. Our car is back to driving smoothly. Even though they are doing some construction to waiting area was still clean as well as the bathrooms. They also had complimentary popcorn and other food items. This was my second time there with a great experience and result.
As an older woman alone I depend on Jeffery Smith for his integrity, honesty, and willingness to help me with my car. He always goes the extra mile and he has become a trusted advisor. I knew what I wanted, was willing to get a used one also. I had just left a non-Honda dealer (up the road from Hendrick) after looking at a used Accord Sport Manual Transmission - I needed to think about that one. I dropped by Hendrick to see if anything had arrived since I had last searched online. Was greeted by Ned Hindi who immediately made me feel welcome & at home. No new or used Accord Sport MT had arrived. I showed him a new one available online at another dealer. He offered to get the car to his dealership so he could sell it to me, and that was awesome! I was at Hendrick for about 45 minutes that day, then picked up the car the next day. Yes, there longer the next day, but that was to be expected with the paperwork and such. No worries, as Ned was great - professional, respectful, and fun to work with. My previous auto was an Accord EX, and I bought that used from Hendrick Honda 13 years ago. If I could, I would be back every few years to purchase a new vehicle from Ned. Alas, haven't won the lotto yet... What I will do is recommend Ned every chance I get. Thank you Ned!

Dennis Stanford was my customer service rep. He was polite, patient, and prompt. He explained everything i asked him thoroughly. He kept me posted on everything that was going on as well as the estimated finish time expected during my wait in waiting longe. He got all my services taken care of that i request, and thanked me for coming in for service before I left. The ladies at the front desk that closed me out was very nice as well. I have bought a car from the south blvd location before and I was pleased with it so I figured that I would try again since they have all my information. When I walked in, I talked to Ronnie Russell and I told him I was looking for an Infiniti but he told me that it was in Wilmington. It was my mistake when I looked it up online, I thought it was in Charlotte but it wasn't a problem. I told him what I was looking for in a car and he recommended a Genesis that he had there. I was skeptical about it at first but when I test drove it I was surprisingly impressed. After a few months of having it I can say that I love my vehicle and Ronnie did a great job. I will be recommending him to all my family and friends; I will be seeing him soon for my mother's vehicle next.

Salesman Jay Levin was a joy to work with in my search for an Odyssey. He has a great personality, patience and excellent customer service! I liked a vehicle that I drove however, it didn t have the necessary Navigation or DVD player. I was told that it could be installed. Problem Solved ! Other little details I needed were completed without him showing any annoyance with this particular, hard to please girl! When we picked up our vehicle with the items installed, he patiently showed us how they worked. It shows that we were important and appreciated! You would fare well working with Jay! No pressure, polite salespeople and staff. Tanner our sales guy gave us all the information we needed to decide on the Honda that would best fit our needs, and stay within the budget we had set. Pre-owned Honda civics don't stay on the lot for very long, He had four civics for us to look at within about two weeks. We now have a beautiful pre owned certified Honda Civic. Joe made the business end (Paperwork) seem like a breeze, his fun personality, professionalism and knowledge made the process so much easier. When my Sienna minivan unexpectedly broke down again....I was desperate to find a minivan on this rainy night (the night before going on a cross country trip with the kids AND my husband was out of town.) We LOVED our last minivan and had TERRIBLE customer service at EVERY Toyota company since moving to NC (we had considered replacing it for the last 2 years; therefor we had been looking). I decided to turn to Honda as a 2nd choice (we have an Accord for 18 years and it has been the BEST car ever!!)... Well they "Wowed" me right away. They did not pressure me, take advantage of me, laugh at me (as I was quiet the basket-case) and I walked away very confident in the used car I purchased. I had an issue with a battery and they resolved it quickly. However, I wish the service technician would have called me back as discussed, so I would have known my car was finished.

Worst service in town, I had purchased a contract with unlimited oil changes with no expiration date and now they tell me that it only included 6, however no were in the contract states that is only for 6 changes, the finance manager agree that that s what it says but Not what it means, was rude and condescending, be carful and even if you read the fine print like I did, make sure they explain what it might mean, don t assume that what is in writing in there contract in black and white it s what it is.

This is my third experience with Honda Hendrick of South Blvd and as expected I was not disappointed. Kenyon Hill was very polite and courteous as he showed me all the inventory available and took me for a test drive of one of the vehicles. His knowledge of the cars and options made it easier to make a final decision. Ken seemed more interested in finding out want I wanted and needed as opposed to pushing to get me to drive a new car off the lot.
UPDATE 2017 - AS I SAID IN MY EARLIER REVIEW BELOW YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! This is now the fourth car that i have purchased and nothing has changed from the first time. Chris Robinson was our new car advisor, Sean McLane the General Sales Manager, and Amael was our finance consultant. This dealership is so successful because of the family experience they bring to their customers which starts in house. Its very evident that Sean McLane and Matthew Ricks treat their employees so well because every employee is happy and confident. This translates to the best customer experience possible and why so much of their business is based on repeat buyers and word of mouth. I lived closer to two Honda Dealerships in Charlotte but travel out of my way to go to this dealership for three reasons, Chris Robinson, Sean McLane, and Amael. Our friends travel from Raleigh to buy cars from these guys. From the time you enter the dealership they treat you like royalty and even after the sale is much better. Service is always excellent and we always deal with Ruth Kirpatrick. The saying of you dont buy from companies you buy from people is spot on. Wherever Sean and his team work is where i will buy cars.

BEST CAR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Let me preface this by saying that I have purchased several new cars over the past ten years and this by far was the best experience I had from start to finish. My salesman, John Tatum, treated me more like family vs a customer. John was very cordial, professional, but most of all treated me like a friend and not just a "sale". I work in sales and truly feel that people buy from people. John Tatum exemplifies the customer experience. Now most people would think the salesman is just "kissing up" for the sale but the experience did not stop there.
We had the pleasure of meeting Kelvin Parsons and ended up speaking to him for a long time, nothing related to the sale of our car. When I found out that Kelvin trained John I could see that the commitment to the customer echos from the top down. The entire team made sure our family and i were "refreshed" and had every need met.
We also met Chris and ended up talking to him for a length of time. Next thing we knew we were three hours into the experience while spending five minutes only on the sale. Thats how fast the sale was done because it was no BS. We both were straight forward, played no games, and they were honest!
This entire experience will always be with me. In life we remember the people and experiences and this is one I will never forget. I truly feel like this experience was meant to be because we really didnt need a new car but on our drive through NC we made a call to the dealership and spoke with John. The entire deal was done over the phone in five minutes, trade-in and purchase. John had the car waiting and finance was awesome. Kelly Jo made our paperwork process easy and took the time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the 50 United States. If you outside of NC take the time to give them a call and give them the chance to earn your business.

I had a great sales experience with Jess Johnson! I would highly recommend you buy your next Honda from Jess. I rate the dealership with 4 stars instead of 5 because of the high pressure techniques they use. Jess was an exception to this. Everyone there has always treated me with outstanding professionalism but there is often high pressure to buy things that I don't need or want; especially in regards to service. I'll go back because I think the quality is good but I know how to say no.
Servicing prices are unreal here, literally double the industry standards and nearby competitors. Go here only if you like paying far more than you should.
