Beautiful garden to see at all parts of year with gorgeous water features. A highlight is the Monet pool which abuts a small cafe where you can enjoy a bite to eat (or some toasty hot chocolate if you re there for the Blossom of Lights). The Japanese gardens include a tea house and bonsai as well as a bubbling creek. There s a large greenhouse conservatory harboring tropical plants year round with great views of the city. The Children s garden is built on top of the parking garage making it one of the largest urban gardens in the US and features playgrounds. Year-round membership is reasonable ($55 per year for the lowest level in 2019 including complimentary tickets to some special events). Visit the website to find free days. There s a small parking lot on the south corner between Josephine/York and 9th Ave as well garage on the north corner near 11th Ave. These fill up rapidly on special event days. Went to Blossom of Lights on a weekday and it was all full. Unfortunately a lot fo the street parking near that area is permitted after 5 PM during November to January when the events are happening, so you might be in for a bit of a walk.Good for a date night but Blossoms was pretty crowded. Visiting during the day offers a more intimate experience with many cozy hide-aways.ithappeninghappening

Love the summer concert series!! Concerts are outdoors and intimate. Bring blankets or short chairs for the grassy seating areas. No alcohol is sold however you can bring your own. You can also bring your own food.

We went in early spring. The plants were just beginning to come up. It was a beautiful, anticipatory sight! Enjoyed the chance to look at and focus on the structural bones of the gardens. We will return on late July or August to see it in its full splendor, and the contrast will be fun to see.

These gardens are gorgeous, inside and out. The staff seems to really care, and there are many different types of displays, activities, and events to participate in. We hosted a celebration of life event there recently, and it was absolutely beautiful! There staff were so great, the setting was perfect, and the event was exactly what we had hoped for. Thank you DBG for helping that happen.

I could probably write a ton of words to describe this place, but in all actuality, it's much simpler to just say that this place is beautiful. You can spend hours in here trying to capture every flower, every plant, every tree and piece of artwork and still not see it all in a day. Around every corner there's something new and you find yourself taking random turns left and right, back and forward, because something catches your eye that you have to see. The entry fee is reasonable and worth it. I recommend stopping here whether you are a visitor such as myself or even a resident. Hopefully my pictures have captured a small piece of what you can see inside.

Visited after work here in Colorado on a week long business trip. We took so many pictures, so many beautiful things everywhere you turn with a ton to explore and discover. Being in these gardens gave me calming and peaceful vibes.

The Denver Botanic Gardens is a very beautiful and relaxing place. It covers a very large area so you can spend a whole day there. In the winter they have Blossom of lights which is expanded every year. It's a wonderful holiday event to attend.

Only the outdoor part was open bc of COVID. Was disappointed i didnt get to see all of it. What i came to see was shut down. Then it rained on us. Other than being moarly ahut down, it was worth is. Very well manicured, though the signs could be a little confusing at times.

Great spot to be able to walk around and see lots of cool flowers and plants from around the world. Not many flowers outside during the winter however the green house contains a ton of colorful tropical flowers and even cool animals like poison dart frogs. Lots of space and outdoor area and great for a peaceful stroll.

It's easy to see why this is the top tourist attraction in Denver - it's a reasonably priced day out in a plant sanctuary living in the middle of the city. Whether you want to learn, be inspired or just hang out to relax, it's one of those gardens has a little of everything for everyone. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and do an amazing job of keeping everything looking fresh and alive. It's easy to park here and perfect for either a quick break for an hour or a whole day. Quick tip: if you have a membership to Botanic Gardens in other cities in the US, check to see if membership here is covered since many have reciprocal arrangements.

A beautiful place to visit in Denver. Admission is pretty reasonable (around 12.50) but you get to check out awesome plants flowers and all kinds of Flora (and even some animals like rabbits and ducks) around the garden.
We spent about 2.5 hours there and got to see most of the exhibits including the Lego sculptures which were a nice addition.
The cafes in and around the gardens were great also.

Beautiful place, CDC guidelines closely followed by guests. Go in the evening when it starts to cool off and it's not too busy and you'll have an amazing time! The Japanese gardens were phenomenal and there is plenty of seating everywhere

A FREE DAY! YEA! Have not been to the gardens for many years and I'm so glad i went on Sunday. Sure it's still a little to early for the flowers to be blooming, but the walkin around sure was interesting and fun and one could see all the potential for beauty once the flowers were out and things were in full bloom. It also made me really want to come back and see the beauty of it all. And i won't mind paying to get in next time. Boy, they sure were smart offering that FREE DAY in very early Spring.

We went for the Blossoms
Of Light event with the family for the holidays. The place looked great and my son really liked the sound responsive art installation at the end.
