Absolutely love the Botanic gardens, its a beautiful place to go if you are in Denver. The Botanic gardens have a very large area to explore with beautiful plants throughout the entire place. Sometimes the occasional butterfly or bee happens to appear in your photos too
Excellent location, well developed, and plenty of free parking.
Fun for children of all ages.
BTW, they're open year round.
The Denver Botanic Gardens is one of my favorite places on Earth. Their gardens, ranging from formal to natural, inspire me with their beauty. They have great art exhibits and seasonal celebrations. It's a soothing, peaceful place to sit in winter and take in the textures and smells of life at rest. And it's a flourishing, bustling, colorful place in summer where nature puts on her most resplendent garments.
Absolutely huge range of plants and great information about them, making an extremely relaxing and calm experience. I strongly recommend seeing the coy pond. Unfortunately parking is very high demand so it can be hard to get in if you drive during peak times.
The Gardens are always a beautiful place, but the Christmas lights are really something to see.
One of my favorite places in Denver! <3 Love being a member!
There was no charge for the parking garage across the street. There was an orchid garden being showcased. The grounds could host a wedding here. It is that beautiful. You can spend hours here to try and see everything. It was $12 a person, which is a great price for what you get.
Beautiful plants & flowers. It's great to see what will grow in your own state. Although the tropical flowers are still my favorite.!
Love visiting the gardens. Therapeutic. Quite the display of tulips and other flowers.
Terrific evening during"Glow at the Gardens", many beautiful trees and other vegetation, with colorful lights and seasonal Halloween/Samhain/Day of the Dead decorations.
This is one of the most beautiful places I have visited. And it's huge! What a fantastic amenity for Denver.
We had a great and informative tour of the native grasses.
Gardens here are among the top I've seen. The plants are unique and the garden is a pleasure to walk around. Also a lot larger than I expected.
Great place to enjoy the grounds and a wonderful place to see music! Summer time is my favorite, winter blossom of lights is amazing display!
I love the botanical gardens. Even in the dormant winter/colder months. The beautiful water features and huge variety of plants are soothing and relaxing to me. Comfort food for the soul right here!
These are the best botanical gardens I have been to. Having been in Portland and Chicago, this one definitely takes home the gold. There are great activities for the kids, a nice little kids park as well, and a multitude of activities and as well as are and sculptures to take in. Will definitely visit again!
Absolutely loved walking around the grounds. Many beautiful separate gardens.
I went here on the free day this past Monday and had a lovely time walking around and taking photos with my mom. The outside area was pretty snowy but had a nice winter beauty to it. The indoor area was such a refreshing escape from winter, into a beautiful tropical area. I captured some beautiful images and had a great time
Beautiful place in the heart of the city. When in the tropical garden look for toads and frogs.
Amazing gardens, easy parking, great Japanese garden!
Usually love the Gardens, but not so much "Blossoms of Light" as it felt like a cattle call. Roped so guests only go one way....I understand moving more people through, but it wasn't as enjoyable as past years.
Went for the Christmas lights. It was spectacular. Going back in the spring
Ugly I thought the one in Albuquerque was much, much prettier.
Awesome venue. Been there many times. Was only driving by when Maps flagged me as being there.
A great place to walk and enjoy. The gardens are beautiful.
Just go. Even if you're not a botanical garden person, just go. Beautiful place, serene, and quite. Well managed, and friendly staff. Plus, free parking!!
Great place to take a relaxing stroll, enjoy the weather, and see interesting plants from all sorts of landscapes and climates.
Lie online about prices. Went there and it costs quite a bit.
We went when they were having a free day. We went in March, so the outdoor flowers weren't in bloom. But the indoor part was awesome! Very beautiful and well maintained. We had a lot of fun. I'm sure it will be even more amazing when the outside plants and flowers are in bloom
Beautiful, relaxing, inspiring place to spend the day. A must see! The Beehive Restaurant serves fresh & tasty eats and overlooks the vegetable gardens & ponds ~
Love these gardens & children water garden is really great on a hot day.
Too popular. Parking lot completely full 1 hour after opening.
We love the botanic gardens. The parking is the biggest problem here! If you dont arrive early you might be in for a stressful time trying to find a spot.
Wonderful place to stroll up and down and many times, especially the theme gardens. There are statues in different locations which adds a framed beauty to it.
I've been to several botanical gardens and this one was one of the most beautiful ones I've been too. It is a lot larger than you think too.
Beautiful! This garden is worth seeing for sure. Very nicely done.
Terrific botanic gardens in the heart of Denver! Great outdoor exhibits with a wide range of biomes, including a Japanese garden. The indoor tropical section is also fantastic. If you like outdoors/garden environments, it's a great place to visit year-round.
Beautiful in many seasons! Definitely be sure to go in summer to see all of the beautiful flowers in bloom as well as in winter to see the lights.
Blossom of light was such a fun time. Botanic gardens is beautiful.
We loved the Christmas lights. It was a fun evening evening to sip hot chocolate and walk the gardens.
The best botanical garden! There's just SO much to see and explore here. I don't think you can cover everything in one visit.
Beautiful gardens and fun paths to explore. An overall awesome environment.
I used to live walking distance from the New York Botanical Gardens and trust me this one in Denver is a very good one. Spent a few hours there and was sorry I had to cut the visit short to get to the airport and fly home.
I had an amazing time at the Denver Botanical Gardens. I am a plant enthusiast. In love with this place. I can visit everyday!!
This is an incredible place to visit. A must see. The gardens sprawl and the water features abound. Every style and region you can imagine. The staff is helpful and there is food in the middle of the place. The pavilion is amazing and is a relief from the heat. In general, every scene is a picture. These are my favorites.
Many different plants and cultures represented. Great place to eat as well
Fantastic this place deserves your visit preferably with camera with macro lens to record fantastic photos with focus on the amazing plants and flowers. Resumes the visit to Denver Botanic garden.
A beautiful place to walk around and explore even in winter.
There is so much here to see. We really enjoyed the carnivorous plants.
I've taken my kids (8, 5, and 1) here many times and it's always a hit. The gardens are beautiful and fun to explore with children, and the outdoor restaurant has good food and the kids can keep running around.
Who does live Mother Nature's garden? Especially, the Blossoms of Lights during the holidays.,Get married under the lit arch, or sit a reflect the Matisse reflecting pool while sipping whipped cream. The humongous wall of lights is breathtaking.
I spent a beautiful morning in this garden and was so impressed.
Lovely Gardens very relaxed staff. You can bring a picnic and sit out anywhere on the park to enjoy.
So nice having gate key fob to visit weekly from cheesman park gate.
These gardens are no joke. They're like the size of a small zoo, and it has a lot of variation.
They take such good care of this place! Such a beautiful area to explore. Highly recommend going!
One of my favorite botanic gardens in the US that I have visited so far. Even in the Winter there's a lot to see with the indoor sections, but outside in the summers where things really shine. The variety of landscapes and flowers in the wonderful all food and beverage selection of the beehive always make this a great choice to visit. The children's garden is also a wonderful and unique place to bring younger kids
Blossom of lights is a must in the winter season! Can't wait to go this summer
Xmas light show excellent... must buy tickets in advance and specific entrance time.
The gardens were only ok. The parking is difficult when busy.
Beautiful gardens with a variety of plants. It is nice in every season.
