During cold season when the trees are sleeping, the botanical gardens are covered from head to toe in lights for the Blossoms of Light event. Grab a hot chocolate, and walk through this winter wonderland!

This is a very beautiful place to visit with such a diverse collection of plants and flowers! It is also great to see so many Honey bees and hummingbirds around.
Went with family to the blossoms of light it was beautiful! There were lots of oohs and aahs it was super great place to spend some time with family just enjoying beautiful lights and scenery They were service dog friendly which is important for me! Parking was more than adequate even though it was very busy. The stores as expected were overpriced. The hot chocolate was delicious but pretty expensive which is to be expected add events and it this type of facility
It was a free day so of course it was fun worth it gave me time to spend with my family was up for vacation but there was really nothing to see due to it being cold and snowing outside all the plants were dead my best suggestion is to try early spring early summer
Went here on a free day and there are a lot of beautiful plants and it wasn't too busy but there were no cacti i was really looking for some and i wanted to purchase it there to help with the gardens funding but the 2 cacti i saw were poorly taken care of and crisp.
That was very nice visual are but of course I have compared it to Missouri botanical gardens where I'm from and I'll give the Denver botanical gardens second place that dude check it out it is beautiful
Huge botanical garden with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Amazing variety of plant species all separated into respective regions. Even though it was late fall there was still plenty to see and do. Really want to go back in the spring to see the full gardens in bloom.
Priced a little high, but I guess they have a lot of operating costs. The place is really beautiful in the middle of the city. There are a variety of plants. Choose to go during late august or early July. The indoor rainforest is my personal favourite among all the areas there
The gardens are nice but they are not policing masks needing to be worn or social distancing although the signs are everywhere. Security walks thru talking to unmasked people and staff and workers similarly do not police people who have masks down with nose uncovered or around their necks or non existent. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!! If you are at any higher risk... strongly advise to avoid this place.
DBG is doing an incredible job opening, with restrictions, to the public. The gardens look exquisite, hats off to all the staff who have made our experiences so wonderful!
This place is so darn amazing, I will visit it every time I come to Denver from now on. It goes on for acres and acres and the staff are wonderful as well as the scenery.
Wait I've never reviewed this place? Maybe because I don't want to share it. I'm here regularly. 2 or 3 times a week during the warmer seasons. This is my happy place.
There are some days where it is free to enter. Can spend 3-5 hours just walking around here. Very nice for a free attraction or is probably worth the price of admission.
The gardens were absolutely beautiful. I was sad that "Stinky" the corpse flower had already closed back up but regardless there was tons to see. I couldn't believe there were bonsai trees over 250 years old, that was amazing to me.
Such an amazing collection of trees and flowers in Denver! I love going to the botanical gardens with my family and looking at the different species! I also love the Blossoms of Light -- such an amazing sight to see. Definitely worth the visit
A marvelous place to visit any time of year. My recent visit with friends was no exception. With heat and dryness growing all around us, the garden's examples of dry planting and landscaping are more and more valuable!
we went to the winter light show at night, really beautiful but oh so cold was hard to get through it! !! perhaps more indoor sights would be better for the winter but it was spectacular. make sure you pick up the 3d glasses
The botanic garden here is excellent. My wife and I visit many on our travels, and this one is near my favorite. The facilities have seen significant investment and improvement over the past few years, and it looks fantastic. Service at their cafe (on the 5th of July) was slow enough to be frustrating. It took maybe 20 minutes to make it through the line.
It was a cold, rainy spring day and yet it was such a wonderful experience. The gardens are so creative and unique. They are an inspiration for anyone who has an interest in trees, flowers, shrubs, or grasses. Would love to go back.
Nice place to spend a weekend. Plant lovers and botanists might enjoy it more than anyone else. It could get quite boring if you are not in mood to learn about hundreds of plants.
It had been over 20 years, since we last visited the Denver Botanic Gardens, just off of Cheesman Park since we moved to Phoenix. While visiting in July, we took advantage of some beautiful weather, and returned.Though much had changed in two decades, it was still like visiting an old friend, as there were still some aspects, which were familiar to us. My wife probably spent more time there, than I ever did, as she attended many events there, and loved the little store which has expanded greatly. So much was still in bloom, though Summer had come to the Rockies, but on the day we visited, the weather was actually slightly cool much better than what we had left behind in Phoenix. The place was beautiful, and matched the weather perfectly. We plan to return to Denver with greater regularity, and hope to get back for some of the seasonal displays. Just a great visit.
The Denver Botanical Gardens is truly a gift to my soul. I forget where I am when I enter. Even the gift store is esquisite. I have so few pictures because of its beauty that I forego picture-taking. See it to believe it.
