It had been over 20 years, since we last visited the Denver Botanic Gardens, just off of Cheesman Park since we moved to Phoenix. While visiting in July, we took advantage of some beautiful weather, and returned.Though much had changed in two decades, it was still like visiting an old friend, as there were still some aspects, which were familiar to us. My wife probably spent more time there, than I ever did, as she attended many events there, and loved the little store which has expanded greatly.So much was still in bloom, though Summer had come to the Rockies, but on the day we visited, the weather was actually slightly cool much better than what we had left behind in Phoenix.The place was beautiful, and matched the weather perfectly.We plan to return to Denver with greater regularity, and hope to get back for some of the seasonal displays. Just a great visit.
