We were there for the Calder exhibit which was wonderfully placed among the different gardens. You have to admire the many volunteers for keeping up the gardens. We did learn about plants that do well in this area and how to group them.

I've spent three afternoons here in as many months and still haven't seen everything. If you become a member and live in the neighborhood I suggest purchasing a fob for the west gate so you can move between the gardens and Cheesman Park without walking all the way around the gardens.

This is an excellent choice for kids and families. Also, there are several quiet places to study or to meditate. Note the first weekend of the month; the museum is free for Bank of America customers (bring your debit or credit card). Also, you have access to the kid's section above the garage. Parking is available on the opposite side of the entrance.

This is a must visit while in Denver. A true show-stopper while using the culture pass and easily worth it's cost.

Even visiting in the winter when it was cold and snowy, the gardens were a delight. The many indoor displays were awe-inspiring and engaging. They cover climates of Colorado and beyond with extensive detail which is definitely worth the hike around the grounds.

The staff are pleasant and mostly keep to themselves which is nice while slowly strolling through the multiple displays. There are tons of plaquards and informational signs as well as interesting sub-climates to explore and even a miniature science museum dedicated to Colorado climates, horticulture, and geography.

I can't reccomend this place enough.

Always one of my favorite spots in Denver. They have a huge indoor tropical plant area and lots of different styles of gardens. It's massive! You can look into their grow houses and even purchase plants. If you like plants at all this is a must see.

This place is (in my humble opinion) the most beautiful place in Denver! An absolutely stunning selection of plants from around the globe. Masks are required at all times when walking around but if you re there early morning or later afternoon it s not too hot. Unfortunately wasn t the season to see the Corpse flower but I ll definitely be coming back once it blooms.

Beautiful and educational. They offer a lot of really cool classes and I highly recommend taking a tour to learn more about what they do there with the plants, it's really fascinating!

We attended an event that brought 50 people in from all over colorado who would not have otherwise gone to the botanical gardens this weekend. The gardens are beautiful but despite prior planning and coordination, the staff was rude, unprofessional, and our party was treated as an unwanted inconvenience. I'm not sure I'll ever want to return.

A membership is worth it if you can swing it. 2 trips to the Gardens, free tickets to corn maze for you and up to 5 friends, 2 free tickets to Blossoms of Light, and 10% off at all the sales and shops.

I've lived in Denver for about 30 years and sadly it took that long to make it to the botanic gardens for the first time. The gardens were sublime and peaceful. There were so many plants I've never seen before and all of them were well organized and taken care of.

There is no bad time to visit the Denver Botanical Gardens. However, Blossoms of Light during the winter is especially beautiful. They have so many amazing events at the Botanical Gardens. From concerts and art exhibits to art classes and formal Japanese tea ceremonies - you will never be bored! The permanent Chihuly installation is especially pretty.

One the best maintained botanical gardens I have ever been to. Incredible attention to detail, seasonal changes, architecture that jives well with the cityscape, an abundance of blooms, walking paths, and secluded areas make this an unforgettable destination. Absolutely worth the price of admission.

Went on a weekday afternoon which was great because all the field trips were leaving so we had a pleasant stroll through the gardens, although we did then hit rush hour on the way home. The agua fresca at the hive was great (it was pineapple rosemary the day we went), and a nice location to relax outside. Memberships are very reasonable. Friendly staff.

I never thought the botanic gardens would be one of my favorite places in Denver. This is a brilliantly laid out facility, with such a magnificent variety of plant life. It's gorgeous in every way, and definitely one of my favorite spots to wander

I've visited this place many times. Whether it was to see an event during the summer, Halloween, around Christmas time or even to volunteer a few times, it is always very beautiful and a large location. Parking is limited, but you can park around the neighborhoods close by (although the workers don't suggest it, because they care about the people who live around there and don't want to bother anyone from parking in front of their homes, so they actually suggest to park at the city parks near by). But overall, the workers and even the volunteers know what they are doing, and are kind-hearted people who love to work there. There is food here also, but it's a bit pricey for myself in comparison to other food locations though.

Extensive range of species sensibly arranged in zones which one can pick and choose what one wishes to concentrate upon or stroll through gardens in entirety on various paths and byways.
Scrupulously maintained by knowledgeable staff quite willing to interact and answer any questions.

Google maps did a terrible job in getting us to the parking lot which is in a different place than the actual gardens itself, b so pay attention on these one way roads! It was just lovely!!! Will go again in the different seasons!!!

Great place for a family romp. The Denver Botnaical Gardens offers a variety of excellent plant species on display as well as several venues and event spaces for private and public events. Of particular note are the Asian inspired garden areas and the Boettcher conservatory each offering exotic and amazing specimens. Snack bars and coffee shops make for a great relaxing afternoon in one of the most peaceful places in the heart of Denver.
