Gotta see the Bonsai Pavilion and the Japanese Garden! Also, as far as I know, you can BYOB to have a picnic (at least we always have). There are a lot of great little nooks and quiet spots to enjoy a few hours any day, and not just in the warmer months.

Really cool place to explore for about 2 hours. Lots of fun paths to walk and cool exhibits inside. Really photogenic so this is a great spot to beef up your Instagram story. The park is well maintained, parking is easy and free, theres lots of cool shaded areas to lay down, talk, and rest.

Cool place for kids and lots of informative notes around the park explaining the plants and animals of the area.

It was a very beautiful garden. They have 2 art exhibits that they just opened in their new building. It was great to see them. My favorite gardens were the romantic and Japanese gardens. It was a no-touch entry, easy parking, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You must at least stop in the gift shop, it's gorgeous and has a lot of special pieces within it!

Absolutely beautiful! I was there in late June and there was an abundance of blooming flowers and trees. The price is unbeatable for all the maintained gardens of which I believe there are about 50. My favorite was the bonsai garden. I liked how they also had indoor environments with flowers, plants, and birds. We went about 2 hours before they closed and it was not crowded. It would be a nice place to go on a date or just to sit and read a book and relax.

Im a hobby gardener and when I saw how big the variety and the way all the gardens were all laid out I was captivated. So much work goes into a place like this. If you are a plant person or just maybe looking for a serene place this is a good spot. When we visited the parking garage was full. We walked a couple blocks but it was worth it.

I have been wanting to visit the Botanic Gardens for forever. My husband took me there last night as a birthday surprise and I loved it! So beautiful! We went to see "Blossoms of Light."

I'm continually impressed by the amount of effort poured into maintenance and upkeep that keep the gardens looking fantastic. I took my daughter expecting to have a hard time keeping her engaged, and she loved it. The kids area offers free exploration kids with drawing supplies, binoculars, and magnifying glass to give them a different perspective on the world around then.

Denver Botanic Gardens is one of my favorites in the nation. I love how they can cram so many awesome things into their space. I didn't know that gardens could look simultaneously overgrown and perfectly manicured until I visited.

Whether in town for a couple days or a permanent resident of Denver, this is a MUST visit Denver attraction. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. They are open year round and every season brings something new. Additionally, they have great events ranging from music and concerts in the summer to their spring and fall markets to Blossoms of Light in the Winter. There really is something for everybody. Also, you can't go wrong grabbing a snack at their cafes.

The gardens offer a breath of fresh in the city. Its just another reason for you to spend more time outside.

Such a nice place to spend time. The children's garden is amazing and we always have so much fun there. After our daughter is tired out, we walk around the large garden. Lovely experience.

Everything was great!!! The reason I gave it a 3 star was because the gift shop was way too pricey and the lady at the cashier was to angry..it look like she didn't want to be there you can see it with the way her attitude is. If it wasn't for the gift shop I would have gave it a 5 stars..

Lots of beautiful plants and the rotating collections are great! I highly enjoyed the Christmas lights this past year, and it's always nice to stop in and walk around. My partner has a membership and key fob to use the back gate, and it's great to dip into during a walk through Cheesman. My favorite section is the Japanese area with the water feature, personally, but all of the areas are quite nice. In the winter, the greenhouse interior area is still warm and nice to walk through, as well.

Absolutely fantastic gardens. So many different gardens and pathways each leading you to a new discovery. The Monet Pool is breathtaking. A lovely afternoon and evening spent until the gates closed.

Denver Botanic Gardens is definitely one of the better gardens I've ever been to. They are lucky because it's so dry and warm that all the fun, unique succulents grow very well. However, all the other plants were just as beautiful. I went during the spring plant sale and I am planning to go back when it's less crowded! If you plan to go for the sale, definitely go right when it opens otherwise you risk standing in line forever!

We've visited the Botanic Gardens a handful of times now, and it's a beautiful place to go for a stroll. Docents are available to answer any questions. Blossoms of Light is mesmerizing, if a bit crowded. Glad to have it so close by!

Magical beautiful gardens right in the middle of the city. Serenity, tranquility, well kept landscape, lots of hidden little spots to enjoy a break from the busy city life. Definitely worth taking the time to visit this showcase of nature when you're in Denver!

TLDR: Beautiful, calm, area unique, beware allergies.
The Denver Botanic Gardens are a beautiful Denver classic. Every local I've spoken to recommends the trip. You can spend several hours there, get food, and enjoy plant life from all over the world. If you're allergy prone like me, take something before you go or you'll find out what it's like to have a running nose and sneeze in 7 different biomes.
