Had been gone for 8 months and apon my return was told to come in at 9:30am so I would be ready for my first session@10:00. At arrival was told by the rude lady at the desk to sign in and have a seat. 45min later, was given paperwork. Now it's 10:20. I tell her that i missed the appointment. She had been playing around with co- workers for over an hour and not taking care of the line that been forming. I left never to return.

They're all good to me, so far. I've been going to them a little over a month and I love how everything is in one place. I just had to find the right therapist. But they don't take any kind of Medicare ins.

I had a different meds doctor before this new one came in . It took a long time to find the rite meds that would work for me after trips to the emergency room halucinations etc. . then finally my old doctor Jen finally got me on all the rite meds . Which has been able to let me go to work and take care of my family , having to deal with my mental issues an extreme anxiety already on top of it all . now she wants to put me on two different medicitions . So wats gona happen now when i have to go threw this whole situation again . is 6months down the she gona.change my meds again this isnt rite this is my life i went into heads up giving it a try i went threw months of mind therapy program and they helped me so great and then my meds doctor who was very helpful with and patient even when the meds werent helping . i cant believe this happening i havnt done nothing wrong or ever over taken my meds not to metion all the therapy an time off of work to go in .

At the absolute cutting edge of quackery, they apply various pseudosciences like hypnosis to their mental health treatment without giving their patients an upfront and honest explanation of why they use these methods and how the patient stands to benefit. The people at the front of the house, especially receptionists, are impatient and curt, giving one the impression they would much prefer treating machines than actual human beings. Avoid like the plague!

I can't speak much on all the therapist but overall they seem like really nice people when you see them, also the people who work in the front office seem nice as well because they usually seem to be smiling and laughing with each other a lot. Heads Up also playing some really good movies, (if the movie ends don't be afraid to ask them to play another one, they don't mind) the waiting room is chill and I haven't had any problem so not much to say there either, but overall this place is nice.

I am not sure why these guys are getting high ratings other than you have not been anywhere else. They will never ever have any one who can prescribe you medication. I know that seems crazy but they haven't had one for years. I am serious at least close to two. Couple of the therapists are actually okay but you will be referred out. If I had the money I would sue for false advertisement.

This place is in a rundown strip mall and has yet to let Google maps know that they have moved, this is not the right location. The makeshift waiting room was dirty and this place clearly doesn't practice any social distancing or sanitizing procedures on a regular basis or ever, no hand sanitizer anywhere or no madks required. After the initial session which was an extended intake of repetitive questions, I left feeling a lackluster experience and felt my therapist was disconnected the entire time. I never made it to the second session because the wonderful receptionist marked me as a no-show as I sat in the waiting room. She asked if I wanted to reschedule but in the poor performance of already being there, I knew I should never return. There is no sense of urgency and there is not much in customer service due to inexperienced staff members. There are much better places in Las Vegas take the Heads Up and head elsewhere They are not in the business to help people just collect that insurance money.

If you can make it through the rude person scheduling appointments then this place is cool to visit for counseling but if you need meds you will have to schedule an appt with a prescriber after seeing your therapist...so separate copays and appts which is a complete hassle. Just go elsewhere and save the headache

Every time I go to get medicine the wait is over three hours. It s getung crazy. Patients waited four hours to get seen and were very agitated. This has been going on for over a year and a half. Staff doesn t care if you complain. Patients are double-triple booked because Headsup pays the prescribers on salary and thinks it s okay to book 1000 patients hoping they can somehow manage it in one small time-frame to save money. I don t recommend for medication. Therapy is great however and I think the therapists do a good job.

Had an Appt, nothing was said to me until I got up and questioned about my appt time which was at 11 and it was 11:15 . Finding out that the Counselor was sitting around when she should have been talking with me . I was pleasant and even early for my appt so, I did nothing to deserve the service and way I was treated.. so ,if you plan on going there, expect to go in later than your appt time.

I ve been coming here for a little over two years now. I love this place(: every interaction I ve had with staff has always been positive. The front desk people are always polite, and the prescriber and therapists really listen to you and your concerns. They also offer a couple of different therapeutic options as well, like hypnosis and biofeedback. Once you start seeing a therapist it s really easy to get on a recurring schedule and they actually go in depth on the treatment plan they are working with you. I was extremely happy to find someone who could help me work DBT. The prescriber is often very busy but I m always able to get in when I need to see her. She s super friendly and actually takes an interest in how medications are affecting you and will work with you to find the right combo.

My daughter had a bit of a breakdown and needed a new therapist. They suggested that she come in for a evaluation as a walk in. Then she could be seen by a therapist after. So their idea of a walk in and help is to leave her sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours without being seen. This is Extremely misleading and rude.
This is obviously a waste of a fragile person's time when we could have gotten her somewhere else.

My wife has never had a good experience with this place. Why do they schedule several people for the same appointment? We end up having to wait extra when you really shouldn't have to. And when it's finally your turn, they treat you like garbage. We have complained but they think you are an inpatient jerk. Avoid this place at all costs. They think they can save money. Screw them.

Their facility is very welcoming. Most of the clinicians seem caring and are very nice. They have a lot of different ways to help you heal. I just really wish that they would hire a case manager. Then Heads Up Guidance And Wellness Center would be perfect.

If I could have given them 0 stars I would have. I paid $100 of my hard earned money (because they stopped accepting my insurance) to meet with a new counselor for 10 minutes (my original counselor left there, I wonder why) just to tell me that they couldn't complete my original course of treatment. Refund isn't in their vocabulary so if you like throwing money away to people that don't care about your individual well being then this would be a perfect place to do it.

Great place! Colleen is beyond wonderful. In one session she did for me what other people go to therapy for months of years probably... I m still under impression. Wow.
Prior to that I took my 7yo son there for help with nightmares, fear of darkness (to the point that he couldn t sleep in his room by himself and always tried to sneak in to sleep with me and my husband). 3 month after I can report; that he soundly sleeps in his bed. With no light.
Thank you, Colleen! That s tremendous, what you do for the community!

Wonderful staff sadly we had to move from the area so we were not able to use your services but because we're considering moving back we definitely will be going here and seeing what they can do for our son we have a child with very unique needs so it's a necessity to have a good treatment plan and progress for him

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful! The first intake staff was extremely upbeat and positive with an inviting personality. After the first intake person i met with Tracey another intake Social Worker who as well was very kind and supportive. Next I will see the doctor for medication management and it will be 2 months before i can get in to see the doctor that I really need to see! That is quite frustrating especially when no one will take responsibility for my medications when I need them!

Decided to go elsewhere after more than a year of nonsense from this place. Takes weeks to get appointments because no one knows how to schedule standing appointments. Therapists are great listeners, but seem to have no treatment plans or agenda happening. Prescribers are nearly impossible to get in with. They rarely get the Rx correct, or understand what insurance accepts - not to mention they consistently triple book so wait time is two or more hours. This place is a mess. Not worth all this hassle. This is just not a place where real help is going to come from. I don t understand how they remain in business with this much constant chaos.

I m about to be coming back to heads up. Lost my job in late March due to Covid bs pandemic. And lost my insurance... but I got my stuff together and can finally start talking to a psychologist & psychiatrist again. Heads up is a good clinic and I ve never had a problem here. Worse case scenario is waiting maybe 5 minutes after your appointment time. But over all they are good people.

Home the receptionist does not answer the greeting...

Home the receptionist does not answer the greeting. I attended the 1st appointment with the help of a very friendly attentive gentleman named Levi. The bad treatment was the 2nd appointment which they never notified by phone or mail that they could not continue the appointment with my son because there was no translator, assistant in Spanish. Apart from the fact that the doctor I consider not able for legal reasons. So I gave the person in charge of a piece of paper saying that and she didn't give it to me. He indicates that he sent it to my email which, according to what they wrote down wrong, and I asked him to send it at the moment and he said later. (I wrote down and gave the mail several times well)
I would like to take your work better because now it will take more time to go to another place. Thank you blessings. I hope this comment helps you to be a better agency. Thank you.

Rude front desk. Couldn t even set up an appointment she asked for the ID number, it clearly says on my card the id number and group number they both have letters. She said it should all be numbers. Mind you I just left my primary care and gave them the same group and Id number and they had no problem. This is not my first time giving that information out. When I asked if I could give it to her to try it. She ignored me until I said hello? And she said when you re ready, with an attitude. I didn t even set up an appointment. I just said thank you and hung up. Every number... the group number, ID number and member ID number all have at least one letter in it. I m sure they are great therapist but first impressions happen from the person you have sitting in the front. They can make it or break it for a business. She broke it from the moment she answered the phone you could tell everyday is a Monday for her. Unprofessional and rude.
