Right now I'm in shock !! I have been a World pare...
Right now I'm in shock !! I have been a World parent for many years. I have been convinced that UNICEF stands on the children's side and follows the children's convention. Now I have seen a shocking program, "Mission Review" on SVT, about UNICEF's short and disastrous handling of raped children in Central Africa. I cant find any words!! I would like to end my commitment and instead support the organization, where you see the children and when I go to look the other way or fail to report abuse and ensure that the guilty are brought to justice! Fatigue is unacceptable! The day that UNICEF can show concrete results on the bottom line with rape against children and that Anders Kompass received a public apology for the way he has been treated when he has done his job, yes then I return as a World parent.
