Head Review

My wife is handicapped and the staff was so nice to set us up a little private area so she could enjoy the show. (Wallflowers)

Large venue with really great acoustics and cool vibes. The bar is great too.

Came for a Hillsong concert, it was a great experience. Small room so it can easily be crowded but there is a bar and food area so it's nice.

Pleasantly surprised with the venue layout. With all of the different balconies/levels and length of railings there's a ton of "front row" views. We got there after the show started and still managed to get in the second row on the second floor balcony. Plenty of bars so lines aren't too long outside of intermission before the headliner. Food was also good from the little food service area in the rear left corner. Excited for the next concert that we have tickets to!

The club itself was outstanding. Not a bad location/sest/standing anywhere. But... The door staff was very unorganized. The lines were a mess and the ones in line first became last...IN FLAMES saved the day!!

Good venue for small crowds... limited seating, do be prepared to stand.

Unfortunately this is one of the larger venues which gets national acts rolling through. An odd layout leads to poor sight lines and the dance floor gets cramped during most shows. Sometimes the bars are well staffed, other times it'll take forever to get a drink. Convenience fees are larceny

Evening very entertaining, good sound, a little something to eat and drink with friends and voila is done!
A nice place as there should be more, especially in France.

DJ was ok.... would've stayed longer if there had been any kind of seating.

Love this place. Not a big fan of concert venues but this is so much different! Bars located everywhere. You can stand or sit. Much more free to roam and stand and party! Also, live the downtown Baltimore feel.

Excellent venue. Staff were nice and kept people in check. Was there for Maryland deathfest. Great time.

Good...drinks were expensive and but great bartenders and live music, the KIX was awesome as always!

Small venue - fantastic place to see bands close up.

Clean, cozy space to see great performances. Close to everything downtown and connected directly to a parking garage which is super convenient. Bathrooms are clean, ticket, cost check, bar, and bathroom staff are all great. Drink prices and carny type food are great. I have no complaints about this venue! I've seen some great names her and had some wonderful memories. The venue doesn't tolerate riffraff which is also nice.

They always have amazing shows. Bathrooms are fairly clean for a bunch of drunks constantly stumbling in. Drinks are great and the water is cold. The acoustics are great. Been here for a dozen different types of shows. Very intimate! Higher area is really great for short people like myself easy to see the stage without breaking your back and still get the full experience.

Great environment. This was my first time there. My drink was ok, I ordered a root beer float with whipped cream vodka I think? It was weak, but oh well. Overall, I had a fun time and would definitely go back.

Good venue. Nice medium size, so it doesn't feel too overwhelming but it can be challenging to get a decent viewing spot during packed shows.

Love small venues but sometimes I need to sit down. This place has zero seating! Not good for my bad back or people with certain physical limitations. It is wheelchair accessible!

Usually go to their 80s concert, but this time I attended Beres Hammond's concert. Had a wonderful time. Smooth and fast entrance into Rams Head. My only complaint: they should of had some music playing for the patrons who got there before the main show. It was the same instrumental song over and over and playing very low. Caribbean folks like to dance, so a DJ playing some Caribbean music before the acts would have been ideal. The show was absolutely amazing though.

Excellent sound, 2 levels for crowds (bar on both), and great security. Have seen several shows here and will continue doing so. Love the venue!

Sound was great! View was not quite as good as I expected but it was fun regardless!

Good spot for a show. The second floor isn't always open if the attendance is low, which is a real shame since it's nice to see the performance from up there.

MDF annually! Good sound and plenty of good views upstairs. Bar always within 20 feet.

I've seen some great national acts play at Rams Head. They have a decent setup too, with a loft and 5 or 6 bars so you can usually get a drink pretty quick. Sometimes it gets pretty crowded and it's standing room only unless you get VIP. But it has some benches above the loft if you need to take a break. It's loud, but exactly what you'd expect from a venue like this.

Shows are awesome, but $50 and no seats. And $5 for a slice of pizza? Lil crazy. All and all the drink prices where normal for a venue like this. I did have a nice time anyways

Stairs on the main floor are barely marked and easy to overlooking the dark!

Awesome place to enjoy live music from local acts to famous national acts! When the Rock Bar is open it's even better! Staff is friendly and keeps everything running smoothly so everyone can have a good time. Drinks are a little pricey, but not too bad on the wallet. I've enjoyed many concerts here and will continue going! Most of the shows are standing only, no seats!

Was there for Carnage and really enjoyed myself. It was claimed to be sold out but not overcrowded by any means which I really enjoyed. The only complaint I have is that the bar was understaffed. I felt like I waited forever just to ask for a cup of water. Maybe distribute cups of water more frequently and that will lessen the traffic. (:

Not a good experience. Tables and chairs along the walls are needed so people may sit. The amount of people allowed in at one time is too many. The Legwarmers band was great though. Will I recommend..Nevet.

Horrible new layout and I felt they overbooked the event. We stood on the exit ramp near the back of the room and were shoulder to shoulder with others. Don't think I'll be going back if I can avoid it.

Came here for mini Ladd's tour. Great venue, friendly staff and had a great time

First time. Really like the location, worked especially nice to Deathfest. Vendors in the street outside. Pleasant staff keeping everything running smoothly.

Pretty much the only redeeming factor to the Power Plant experience. They tend to have pretty good acts come through and the venue is really nice. Beers are a little bit on the pricey side.

We did drink a bit too much - but the sound was very good and the music the night we were there was really extra special. I liked how the seats were all set up. Very relaxed and the service was good. Bit on the expensive side for the drinks considering how they were made. Nothing special on the part of the bar - but was a very fun night.

Great intimate concert venue. I saw The Cult there and it was amazing.

Parking can get expensive, but great shows. Plenty of places to drink or hang out nearby

Great venue lots of space to move around bar is big and typically well staffed. Drinks are pricey

I m currently stuck in the elevator. Great band great venue. This is apparntly a common problem and the night is absolutely ruined.

Went to a Concert last night with Family. I love the Venue except for one small issue. When the concert let out other then being corralled like cattle out one area when we got to the main hallway they informed us that we had to go out the back door due to having a minor with us, because of the open air Bar. I know it's their policy and I don't have a problem with that I just think it's a suggestion that there should be a sign stating after a certain hour that Minors must exit the back door. SO that we don't have to fight with the opposite flow of traffic.

I took my daughter and her friend to see the why don't we concert, we had a great time. I was surprised at how fast the line moved once the doors opened, and I was very happy with the view we had. If there's another concert /show I'm interested in, I will be going back if given the opportunity. I would definitely recommend The Rams Head Live to family and friends.

Even though I really wish there was option to sit down and enjoy the concert it still nice place to go for concert. Always clean, polite staff and good place to enjoy a concert. Any place that has Within Temptation play there gets five stars!
