There are a lot of different bars there and it really looks special at night. Not much free parking though.
Good atmosphere and the parking lot is attached to the venue.
Excellent venue for seeing a show. I've stood in several different areas each of the times I came here and could see the stage where ever I was. This last time was a private party on the mezzanine, loved watching from a birdseye view.
Saw Walk The Moon here on 2/4 and I loved it! I initially thought the layout was a little weird but the more I looked around the more I appreciated the place. Staff were super polite and helpful and they got some good food!
This is a fantastic place to see shows - awesome sight lines, great acoustics, and friendly staff (including security, believe it or not!). Lots of great bands play here, and its worth the drive into town. 10/10 I will be back.
I went to Rams Head for the Amity Affliction and Senses Fail concert! I had a great view minus the tall guy who kept making his way in front of me! Lol. I definitely enjoyed the concert! I haven't been to a concert in a lonnnngggg time! The bartender didnt seem to enjoy making anyone drinks though. If you dont like your job then get a new one.
Other than that... I would definitely come back for another concert!
Watch where you stand. People on the upper levels drop their napkins, empty beer cups, and other trash off the railings on to the heads of the people on the main floor.
An intimate venue that packs a satisfying punch when metal bands perform. Interesting cocktail options. I saw Within Temptation, and they were great.
Always a good venue. Big enough for top acts but small enough to always be close. Easy access to parking and easy access to drinks. The place was packed to the hills last night for Citizen Cope. One of his best shows. Plenty of energy which isn't always the case.
"convenience fee" on ticket was 50% of listed price when booking online. So just be ready to pay substantially more than what is advertised.
Amazing small concert venue. Saw the New Pornographers and CHVRCHES here on two separate occasions and the sound quality was excellent both times. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Always clean. Perfect size for an indie concert, the capacity is probably around 1000.
Aesthetics for days. My only gripes are the complete lack of chairs and the hustlers en route to the Subway down the street.
Cool place. Lovely venue dog too. Very cute. Super friendly staff
Always great shows. Kix early Kixmas show is always great
The is an amazing venue with endless potential make sure you are your favorite artist there if given a chance.
Was there last nitgh for metal show very good a lot of good bands wao Dark Entity they very very good hope to see them againg
Fantastic Venue!!! Wish we had one of theses back home!!!
Great place for concerts.. best artists.. great tickets prices! !
Saw Dr.dog here along with The Nude Party and they were amazing, the venue itself was awesome and located in a very cool area in Baltimore
Love the new bar setup down stairs. Lose 1 star because limited access to PowerPoint live. We should be able to move our drinks and not go through security each time we go.
Better bar access, than SoundStage. Friendly bartenders. Decent coat check, though kaotic at post show pick up.
Been here several times for various artists, decent place. Get there early if you want to sit. Coat check available which is a plus.
Venue is a nice size, not tiny but not so big it's hard to see the band, the organization might need some work. The biggest issue we had was before doors there were too many lines to get into the venue and no one guiding traffic.
In Flames was amazing and I had a blast!
We went to see DEVIL MAKES THREE. It is a nice sized venue where you can see the stage rather closely.
The staff are extremely helpful both on the phone and at Rams Head Live!
My only complaint is there is little to no seating. We had to bring in wheelchairs so some of our party could sit due to health problems.
Always surprised with the unique acts they bring in! Rap to pop to country and folk bands come here as their first visit to Bmore. I could see the future Red Hot Chili peppers rocking out at the Rams Head
Great intimate venue. Large enough to attract the bigger bands, but every spot had a great view of the stage.
Venue is great and concerts are always electrifying
Security wasn't as tight as I'd have liked it to be, but there were no issues. The actual music venue is a lot of fun, with upper levels if you don't want to deal with the crush of the crowd in front of the stage, and then two bars, a snack bar, and merch stand. They advertise that you can hang out in the front bar literally on the other side of the curtain from the main stage, but once there you're required to pay a $10 fee for the privilege of getting in before the rest of the crowd, which I did not care for.
Amazing venue with very good acoustics. Buy sometimes has ridiculous restrictions regarding where to go.
A great place to get a drink and see a show. It s in a nice spot right by the inner harbor, it s a big open place so the sound is never too loud, and they consistently have great artists. I saw Car Seat Headrest their with some friends and it was a much better venue than places like the 9:30 club which can feel cramped. A great spot in Baltimore.
All the staff there is very cool and helpful, we we're set up at a festival and they were all very kind and professional!
While I'm not a fan of the surrounding establishments and the crowds they attract, I've seen several shows here and it has proven to be a perty nice venue. Sound is good beers are reasonable for a music venue. Band in photo is Thursday.
This venue is absolutely fantastic. One of the best smaller ones we've been to on the east coast. There's not a bad view in the whole place. Bars and bathrooms are easily accessible and the flow doesn't interrupt you when you're watching the show. Seeing a show here is a must if you're in Baltimore.
Great, more intimate venue to see live music and have some good drinks.
One of the few great venues in Baltimore!Smaller stage area, but great atmosphere and decent prices.
You may get your initial drink taken but don't expect more than that. I had to leave tonight because I couldn't even get a meal order taken because we couldn't get a waiter to come by the table.
Drinks are expensive. Have to pay $10 just go go to third floor to watch show. The show was good but stage is small.
Cool venue with cheap tickets. The beer hurts your wallet though.
Very nice venue, lots of good viewing from the upstairs area. the parking is very convenient
Love this place great atmosphere....food and drinks are delicious. .
Great venue with a terrible staff. Went to see a friend perform. Bought my tickets online through the artist like I always do when he plays here. Get to the venue and ask where can I pick up my ticket I paid for. The guy sitting at the front door without looking up from his phone points around the corner. I walk around the corner and find the security check point. Ask the same question I show them my receipt in my phone and ask where I can pick up my ticket and instead of directing me to will call (where my ticket actually was waiting for me), the two women at the door told me they won t dont know what I m talking about. I tell them the name of the artist I m here to see (again) and tell them I bought my ticket and she tells me that I need to buy another ticket. They were extremely rude and of no help. All they had to do was direct me in the right direction to pick up the ticket that I paid for and that was there waiting for me.
Cool venue. Saw Rae Sremmurd and Lil Yatchy live here. They have a upstairs part that has chairs where you van sit if you get there first.
Great place to watch a concert. Good view of stage from almost anywhere you stand. Drink prices typical concert venue prices. Good sound quality of bands playing. Not a huge venue which is great because your not an arena away from the stage. Parking lot above rams head is often crowded and the first 3-4 floors in parking garage are valet parking only. I've seen a lot of great bands come through here.
Great environment here. The staff is always super fun and polite. Drink options are plentiful and prices not as bad as you'd think. The lighting was phenomenal and the sound systems shook all my bones. Recommend seeing any band here, even if they're not your favorite.
The show was great, the bars were easily accessible. Anywhere we could have been was a great view. We stayed up top to avoid being squished by the crowd and it was perfect. Absolutely recommend going to a show there
Great venue to see beloved band. Back stage not Rockstar but hey. Good acoustics.
Great venue for concerts, standup comedy, variety shows, or any performance act. Big enough to fit several hundred people, but small enough to keep the stage and audience close to one another. Located close to many other venues, restaurants, and shopping in Baltimore.
I used to really like this place as the Premier Club venue in Baltimore for music. Being that I listen to a lot of really hard heavy metal I'm not a fan of the new policies of no mosh pits or anything like that.
Great music venue.multiple levels and multiple bars but very intimate.
Lovely the band, Bea Miller and Madison Beer were Amazing! Thank you z104.3 and Ram's head!!!
Beers are $10 here. Just dumb. Lower the darn prices please. When I go to shows I don't want to take out a frickin loan...
Very small venue. Always a good time but very cramped and over priced drinks.
Would like to go back now that I understand the atmosphere. Great show from mitski!
This is a great venue! If you are preparing to come down here for a concert anytime in the near future plan on staying after the show! The venue itself is on the smaller scale but still fits a lot of people. They have two or three bar areas, places to sit, and of course the stage on the main level. The audio sounds great and the place get loud, which is what you expect in a concert venue. After the concert, plan on staying and grabbing a drink or visiting one of the local restaurants just out the doors of Rams Head. This is a cool little spot, that reminds me of the charm that is Baltimore.
Great place to c a concert. Not a seat in the building. A little too loud. But your definitely a part of the concert.
Really love this venue. Very well organized with a great layout. Wherever you are in this place you have a great seat. The location is also great cause your in the heart of downtown Baltimore so you can check out an excellent show, have a awesome dinner and then stay in any of the 4 to 5 star hotels nearby. It is worth it to pay the $10 upcharge for the VIP section too, you get a great view and seats.
Awesome Concert venue! Great staff and good place to see a show!
