Horrible new layout and I felt they overbooked the event. We stood on the exit ramp near the back of the room and were shoulder to shoulder with others. Don't think I'll be going back if I can avoid it.
"convenience fee" on ticket was 50% of listed price when booking online. So just be ready to pay substantially more than what is advertised.
Great venue with a terrible staff. Went to see a friend perform. Bought my tickets online through the artist like I always do when he plays here. Get to the venue and ask where can I pick up my ticket I paid for. The guy sitting at the front door without looking up from his phone points around the corner. I walk around the corner and find the security check point. Ask the same question I show them my receipt in my phone and ask where I can pick up my ticket and instead of directing me to will call (where my ticket actually was waiting for me), the two women at the door told me they won t dont know what I m talking about. I tell them the name of the artist I m here to see (again) and tell them I bought my ticket and she tells me that I need to buy another ticket. They were extremely rude and of no help. All they had to do was direct me in the right direction to pick up the ticket that I paid for and that was there waiting for me.
No space to breathe. Terrible viewing of any events.
Pros: Generally good acoustics/sound. Friendly Staff Fairly Clean Good views if you can get there early enough to get along the railing (on floor level or upper levels) Safe place with metal detectors Ample parking garages nearby Cons: Refreshments very over priced. One mixed drink and an 8 ounce soda cost double digits Management unorganized. I am a photographer and after multiple communications arrived to pick up my press pass to find it wasn't there. The answer I got was that "they never got approval back". Well, from my initial inquiry - when asking for all my info for the pass and then not ever responding that there was an issue, makes me lean more towards investing in other venues with my artistry. At the very least a courtesy email or call would have been nice to avoid me having pack up all of my equipment and drive from another state. Overall a good venue to enjoy a show but event coordination and concessions leave a lot to be desired.
Went to this concert, Broods, where they were to start playing at 8:00 pm. I am writing this at 8:05, and there are still no singers from the Netherlands in sight. Disrespectful.
Would put a two an half star but I can't. Small dance floor, tables and chairs are nice but if your under 21 you can't leave for anything. I don't smoke but my friends do and they can't even leave to smoke. Staff nice but food is a little expensive and the drinks are little expensive. And you can't crowed surfing.
Bad was awful! They nned to book some better talent, beers were 10 bucks apiece.
The venue is... OK. I was there on a Thursday, and the upper levels remained off limits the entire night. Parking is close, but extremely expensive (I mean... it's Baltimore, not NYC or DC).
You have to download an app to get tickets...no pdf emailed to you. You have to download axs what is that about, they don't post set times, people generally like to know what time bands are playing. Been there 2x for 2 of my favorite bands probably won't go back unless they get a great band that skips DC
Here for Kixmas. Venue was absolutely packed. We arrived early and we wandered up to the "bleacher" seating but the views were terrible when people just stood directly in front of us. If you want to see anything when the venue is full stay on the first floor.
