We had a booking in Amrutha castle from 30th sept to 3rd oct.I had intimated them on 29th sept that I would be late in check in due to flight arrival time is at 4 pm.
While after check in at the hotel their manager S Anand Raj told me that due to water logged in rooms they will shift us to Central court hotel..This was just a lame excuse as there was not so much rain on the last 2 days that water would logged into rooms of a 3 star hotel.It may be possible in dharmashalas.Actually they had overbooked, and wanted to shift us to the central court hotel.I didn't had option I agreed to stay in the central court hotel.Now after reaching central court the manager said after 2 days we have to again come back to Amrutha castle.I requested him that I want to stay in same hotel as it is a short trip and dont want to roam around the hotels with my wife.He agreed.
But on the third day morning at 9-45 am a lady from central court hotel called me up and ordered me to check out at 10 am suggested to shift to Amrutha castle, I was travelling with a private car on that time.Mind it I had my breakfast at the central court hotel till 9-30 am, nobody told us to checkout.Suddenly they told us to check out.She forced me to check out.Then again I had no option.I shifted to Amrutha castle for a single day.
This was a ridiculous experience.I think these 2 hotels do this practice frequently.They have a setting if the hotels are overbooked.
I booked through Make my trip and paid the full money in advance 3 months back.They should refund the full money for this kind of harrasment.I will move to Consumer forum or ministry of tourism.
Beware customers dont book rooms in these two hotels.
