Thanks to Tom Pasquazi and Tom Brown for making buying this vehicle very easy. They were both outstanding. Also thanks to Jeff Mays, who helped me out with my finance options. Hello, very disappointed not only with service but...

Hello, very disappointed not only with service but people within the service team. Treated very rudely and the wait time was outrageous. It's seems that each time I have service done, the wait time gets longer and longer. Three people came in after me and left before me. This past service was scheduled at 8am, and I had to call to get an update on when car was going to be finished. Even after 6hrs of being at the service center the car still wasnt finished. Very disappointed and considering taking business elsewhere, not happy.

Had my first experience with this dealership. Purchased a vehicle for my nephew and leased another for myself. I have been through the car buying experience many times. This place is absolutely amazing. Our sales rep Arnie was professional and knowledgeable. There was no pressure whatsoever. From our initial contact to delivery of our vehicles, it was flawless. Ended up with great deals. Hawthorne Chevrolet is our new goto dealership for any GM vehicle. Thanks everyone

Biggest group of scam artist I've ever dealt with....

Biggest group of scam artist I've ever dealt with. If you do deal with these people double check their math on your contract before you sign. They will list all the discount and additions then list the total incorrectly. Make sure you get a compete copy of the contract you sign because they will make up their own version after and super impose your signature from all of the digital documents they make you sign. Complete scam artists.

Response to Hawthorne Chevrolet - Your team issued a price guarantee certificate, in which what is clear, it was not honored. The "guaranteed" price was listed on the contract with the discount separately but surprisingly the discount was not applied to the final price. I made several attempts to contact Richard in your finance department, in which I never received a reply. I'll be more than happy to provide all of the documents to your team.

They charged $150+ of labor fee for checking our battery draining problem. What they do is simply pulling out the USB charger and told us "pull it out every time after driving". I don't think this is a reasonable solution. The technician refused our request to further checking the circuit or wires, with a very impatient altitude. My worst experience with a car dealer ever.

We had the easiest car buying experience. Hawthorne Chevy delivered my vehicle on time with a great deal. They gave me the top dollar for my trade in. I was in an out of the dealer within couple of hours. Arnold helped us to get the best deal. I would definitly recommend Hawthorne Chevy.

It was a great experience!! I came to look at the cars on a Saturday and received my car on Monday. It doesn't get any more efficient than that. The owner Steve, son Steve and John Dinger were great to work with. And, all with concierge service. Steve Jr. came to my house on Sunday with the car for a test drive, since, I did not have the time to test drive on, Saturday. No hidden charges just what they quoted and nothing more. Glad to be back as a customer to Hawthorne Chevy.

We went into this dealership to look at a truck after a horrible experience at another dealership. Our salesman Tom Verheeck was excellent! No nonsense, friendly, explained ANYTHING we had a question about. The sales manager was even great although I didn t catch his name. We decided to purchase the truck and went into the finance office and the whole experience went downhill. Any question I asked was answered with because it is I asked to see certain documents and he said no and then accused me of not being trustworthy and began rushing us. If you don t want to do this I have lots of other people waiting I don t have time for this Are you kidding me?! This is your job! I really wish we dealt with another finance manager. There was one other person there that had to speak with him so we left the office to discuss things and let him handle the next customer and even when we came back he just rushed everything, didn t answer any questions with legitimate answers. I would recommend this dealership, especially Tom Verheeck, but stay FAR, FAR away from Rich Mongiardo.

The service was excellent. Unfortunately, I left it for lock out and whomever had parked my car apparently smoke cigar or some strong nicotene product and it was aweful odor when I picked up the car in the evening. But the service and the transportation service was EXCELLENT....NO REAL complaint, but someone else may make a serious "stink" about it. Thanks!

This was our first visit to this dealership and first Chevy product I leased. We were recommended to see Tom Brown, but he was extremely busy and still took the time to set us up with Bob Whetham who was fantastic. To be honest, I hate and dread the experience every couple years of leasing a new vehicle and having to sit for hours haggling with a sales person. This was a no nonsense experience with Bob and he got us to the number we needed to be at quickly and painlessly. He went out of his way to make the experience quick and easy. I highly recommend this dealership and their sales staff!!

My wife wanted to trade in her car, a 2010 Malibu LT that we purchased new from Hawthorne Chevy; for a new car. She is very hard to please, so I let her tell Leon Amiel at Hawthorne Chevy what she wants. Leon worked with her and finally found a car that she was satisfied with. It was a 2017 AWD Equinox. Leon showed her many models and was very patient and professional while trying to find the right car for her. We were both very satisfied with the service he provided for us. We won't hesitate to purchase our next car from Leon. We also passed the word on to all of our friends. Keep up the outstanding work, "Leon". Thanks for helping my wife find the vehicle that satisfied her needs and wants.

The sales Dept was always good .the service department is horrible.my truck broke down nine times and they couldn't repair it.I took the truck to Frank's GMC in Lyndhurst and they repaired it right the first time.I will never go back to Hawthorne Chevy.I bought many a vehicle from them and I'm done with them.

While I appreciate that the Service Team was able ...

While I appreciate that the Service Team was able to fit my repair into the schedule so quickly, I was not happy with the cost of the repair. I was going to be charged roughly $190 to replace a burned out front headlamp. I asked the Service Tech if there was anything they can do, seeing as how that is costly. He graciously discounted 10%. So, I still wound up paying over $185.00 to replace a bulb. Now that my warranty is probably expired, I am going to reconsider bringing my vehicle in for service here any longer.

I have been leasing for 20 years and can say with 100% confidence that you will not find better sales staff than at Hawthorne Chevrolet. I spent a lot of time researching cars, and asked a LOT of questions over several weeks, via text with Ryan Mays, the Business Development Manager. He was patient, respectful, and went out of his way to answer my questions and to be sure I was 100% comfortable with the deal they offered. Our sales person was Keith Potash, and another stellar example of what a sale person should represent. He went over every detail of features before we left the lot. They are both true ambassadors of the Chevy brand, as well as Hawthorne Chevrolet. They gave us such a great deal, we sent two of our friends there the same week , and they both walked out with new cars at a great price. Hawthorne Chevy has gained customers for life!

My father bought his dream car and couldn't have asked for a better team of people to get it here on time at a price that we are happy with. As always I was able to pull into the garage up to the guy's who start the paperwork to get things going. The service writer took me in immediately to do his part. He said it would take about an hour while we wait. It took about an hour. I paid at the cashier and left. Such a smooth operating system that always seems to work. Good job done by all!!

DECEIT AND UNPROFESSIONALISM. My husband came in yesterday having the intention to lease a car. Both the dealer and he was content on a price given. Everything seemed ok. The dealer asked for further supplemental documents and he was provided with them. Before coming in to the office my husband wanted to make sure that no change would take place regarding the price. The dealer said everything was approved by them and the bank and that all there was left was for me and and the co-signer to sign to get the car. We told them that we could come in to sign it today. I have a three month old infant who I had to take with me and we drove 1.5 hours to this place. We waited for more than an hour and was later told by the finance department (as we completed ALL the steps to lease the car-not to mention adding the insurance on the car) that the price for the car was increased by around 20% per month. An absolute fraud! How is it possible that the dealer who is supposed to know the price of what he is selling, doesn't know what he has his customer getting into at the end of the day?? Long story short, not only were we presented with cold and unfriendly faces in the dealer, but were greeted with unprofessional attitude by the workers. My worst dealer experience thus far.

Drove a couple of hours to see a Tahoe with options we wanted (very few available in the No East) and didn't know what to expect. We dealt with Dennis J and Steve Jr ... what pros !! We closed on a deal that day and picked the new Tahoe up a couple of days later. This was not my first Tahoe...it is my 7th over many years...they're great. I must say though that Dennis and Steve Jr are Super-Pros...not high pressure, easy to work with...AND we got a great deal !! I recommend them to anyone.

Overall, the dealership was competent, fair and family oriented , and its employees were all -each and every one- helpful and knowledgeable. The experience was so much better than any other dealership I ve been to, and I felt valued as a customer.

I was recently at Hawthorne Chevrolet to purchase a 2018 Traverse. I had the opportunity to talk and work with Jeff Mays, general manager. What a great experience I had with Jeff! Jeff truly took the time to get to know me and my needs. He took a genuine interest in learning what I do for a career, my family, and my lifestyle. Jeff was truly engaged in ensuring I was getting the right vehicle to meet my needs. When I walked out of the dealership it felt like no only did I get the new car I was looking for but I also gained a new friendship.

JR Gray was great to deal with for my 2013 Equinox. but service on my 2009 Malibu was poor. It took multiple times to diagnose a tire problem that should have been handled in one if the car had been road tested.

My husband and I came to Hawthorne for the second time and we are happy and very grateful! My husband bought a 2014 Silverado truck years ago and this year we leased a 2019 Beautiful white Blazer. Thomas Verheeck who help us for the second time never forgot my husbands face from years ago. This means a lot for us because this dealership values the customers! Tom was very attentive, very helpful, and very patient with us. He make sure we got the best deal so we could take the Blazer. I m in love with this Blazer with the beautiful Camaro face! The owner Steven came to us for a couple occasions saying hi and also congratulate us! I wouldn t go no other dealer but Hawthorne! Thank you guys keep up the good job!

I had a flat tire and was covered by my tire/rim warranty. I had to return to the dealer for this issue. Mike Rivera, the service rep. was very good. The tire was replaced early the next morning in a timely manner and at no charge. This was my first positive experience with Hawthorne Chevy's Service Dept. and I was reluctant to come back but the tire warranty and tire problem necessitated it. I have gone elsewhere for my other service needs. I am thankful for the pleasant and helpfulness of Mike Rivera. He was definitely the key to my having a pleasant experience this time.

Mike and Todd B were awesome. Straight to the point negotiations, no wasted time going back and forth which is exactly what I look for when car shopping. Went to five other dealers, three were local Chevy dealers, and Hawthorne were the ones to make it happen for my wife and I. Extremely grateful!

My Salesman was Gary. After meeting with him on late on a Saturday all it took was 1 phone call that following Monday to agree on a price for my Silverado 1500 Custom Trail-Boss. Straight to the point and very little back and forth. The sales part was great although, I have been waiting 5 days for a call back from the service department.

Hello I am responding to your survey. I purchased a Chevy Colorado in June 2018 and needed to get regular service for the first time. I didn't have a relationship with Hawthorne Chevy and decided to go to the dealership and make an appointment. Whenever I arrived at the service department I was immediately approached by a service representative. I explained my reasons for being there. I was asked if I wanted to wait, i was surprised by that question because I only came to make an appointment. I asked about the wait time and I decided to wait for my Colorado. The wait time was consistent with the time quoted to me. I was very impressed with the service I received on my first visit to Hawthorne Chevy. Thanks for your service. Richard Cook.

We were on our way to Chrysler to look at cars and stopped in quickly to just look. JR Grey showed us a car in our price range after we told him what we wanted to spend. He quickly handed us a proposal with various options, knowing we were in a bit of a rush.. He said everything was included in the payments he showed us. No extra fees, tax and title included, everything. He told us to go look around. He said no one will come close.... He was right. Chrysler and Ford could not come close. We went back, and I told Jim... They say your numbers are not real... he said sit down It's a done deal. They told the truth! The numbers were real. Not a penny extra was added. We asked for more miles on the lease, and he gave us updated numbers. They were very fair and in our budget. He was helpful and informative. A total buying pleasure. A real change from the Chrysler dealership that I bought 11 cars from, I'm not going back there anymore!! I recommend them!

I had just recently purchased a car here i have no issues about the car which pains me to say this but the dealership does not hold up to its word when i purchased the car i was promised a gas card to come with it as a promotion . When i got there to pick up the car the card was not there or ready but the sales manager and the salesman both assured that they would mail it to me then pushed me out the door. I called two weeks later to see the status on it and i got directed to the sales manager who had me on hold for 30mins and never answered with multiple attempts of contacting him which brings me to writing this message it seems sheisty that a dealershipof this magnitude would jip me out of a gas card after the amount of money i spent on my car. I wish this could of been resolved and left a better taste in my mouth i hope other customers do not get treated like i have. Bill lockmire was my salesmen

Tom was very helpful and spent his time going over the features of my new truck. We also had him spend some time going over the Blazer for a potential future deal after my wife's lease is up. We will be back to Hawthorne Chevrolet!
