2.5 hours on hold whilst trying to sort a RENEWAL with the online prats. Still nowhere, they don't answer calls and will not help. All ive been trying to do is pay a renewal!! Avoid these muppets

Paul Petrov at the support team has been very consistent like most people at Vidahost.

They have continued to respond to my technical support needs and made life easier for me when I would have been frustrated due to technical issues that wasn't within my area of expertise.

As a result I found the confidence to upgrade my hosting needs appropriately when I would have been forced to seek advice and support from other places.

I highly recommend Vida Host for a serious and customer conscious business.

Service is getting worse and worse over the years. Endless waiting time for support while you are subjected to a most horrible sound track. It is a shame, as they used to be good some years ago.

I joined Vidahost in 2009 when they were a small company. I used to receive support from Dom and Seb and they built a great company and recommended them time and time again. Over the years they have grown enormously and have lost that personal touch. I lost a valuable domain as there renewals system wasnt working at one point recently. They are still a good managed host but the problem is when any company gets big and has big volume to deal with the support cannot keep up. They still have a nice setup but prices are now on the high side and support is not as good as it used to be.

Happy to recommend Vidahost, had a long running issue with previous providers which Vidahost, and particularly Andrey, were able to finally move to a successful conclusion. The support received during the process was excellent.

I have been with them since June 2012, they were very quick in support. But since they have outsourced their support to outside UK, their support is miserable. Support tickets are being replied after hours of waiting. Even there is no option to call someone in UK. Keep up like this and you will loose customers one by one.

Been with Vidahost for a while and as I have multiple websites and needed the space upgraded to their unlimited cloud plan which was ok at the beginning. Then several months ago I was informed of them increasing their prices by 20% and thought ok everything work well and support were responsive.

Now everything has changed, the support can take 24hrs to respond to a ticket, website load times vary wildly.

For the cost I pay monthly I can get the same a lot cheaper with other reputable hosts so maybe time bite the bullet and swap hosts next year.

I can't understand all the bad reviews. I have been with Vidahost for a good many years and they have always been excellent. I came over because of the multiple addon domains that they offer so I can have a number of sites hosted with them from one account. It has now become TSO host so hope that service remains the same. I can only guess that the poor reviews are from trolls from competing firms such as Godaddy or 1&1, both abysmal

Moved my websites across to these guys after being recommended by someone who's been using them before. I haven't got a single bad thing to say! Every time I've been in touch with an issue or query, the guys always respond fast, they're always pleasant and very helpful. My old provider always seemed to have a bit of an issue doing anything, I hated asking anything, even for services I'd be paying extra for.

Definitely recommend these guys if you need someone to host your sites with no downtime and a great speed.

I have been a customer for 10 years. They used to be awesome, Dom and Seb created a fantastic company, with amazing service. Since they became part of GoDaddy their support has gradually declined to the point they are basically unusable as managed hosts. They have dropped the ball on various occasions resulting in multiple incidents. Communication and attention to detail is severely lacking. Their company name, Vidahost means 'hosting for life', this used to absolutely be the case. Now... not so much, avoid Vidahost, and avoid other GoDaddy owned hosts like the plague!

Faultless. I haven't really needed to call on them for the years that they've provided my domain yet they excelled yesterday when I did. No "premium customers only", no "check the FAQs". Just wonderful, helpful assistance!

I also notice i'm on auto renewal which in the insurance industry may as well come with a "lube up" warning - checked and the prices are very competitive.

Used to be good. Been with them for maybe 10 years or more. It's pretty simple to be a good host. Provide good hosting solution AND provide good support when things go wrong.
the second bit - 'support' is where vidahost are abismal.
can no longer recommend them.

I've been with Vidahost for about.....well, as long as I can remember. Feels like 8 years and I have never had an issue with them. In fact they have always delivered fantastic customer service. I tend to use the telephone helpline as a means to contact them. Always been able to deal with my problems.
