Been around for eons - great place to stop after the football game. Huge UofC hangout. Food is good - beer is cold - atmosphere is solid

Meh, its a lounge... had a couples beers & the fish/ chips (better than Joeys), affordable

Great food, not enough waitresses to handle the crowd, but ours did her best.

I only go here for its ribs nights on Thursdays. The draft beers are not good.

Inside basically looks like a movie but they threw up a bunch of TVs in odd places. Beyond that it is a normal bar with decent burgers and daily specials, as others mentioned the poutine was salty, and I believe it was made with mozzarella. Nevertheless I will be returning in the future.

Beer selection could be better, but the food, billiards, and prices are great!

This neighbourhood sports pub doesn't pretend to be anything it's not which is refreshing. The menu is filled with simple pub items but they do them well. The server we had was friendly. It's located close enough to Foothills Hospital to walk.

I return here often for the fine pub grub and comfy atmosphere. The nachos are always crisp, never soggy and the toppings are always fresh and delicious including the jalapenos. Good tap beer selection. Prompt and friendly staff. I'll be back.

Perfect lunch option close to the University of Calgary. I had a very nice bowl of mushroom soup with the beef dip sandwich. Those individuals eating with me complained thAt the poutine was too salty.

The pints are cold and the beef dip is awesome for the price.

The food is always great and the servers are incredible. Especially Bri and Maria.

Always a good time. Came for lunch, which was delicious. Not as busy at lunch then during the evenings or when the Stamps are playing. Side note: a Beanery is a "cheap restaurant ", and has nothing to do with coffee or baked beans.

I've tried lots of wings restaurants in calgary, this is the only place that I've received chicken wings burned, lot of reports say that Burnt Meat Cause Cancer, so please make sure that all your wings are well cooked before serving ?

Very nicely laid out large pub with a west facing patio. They have good daily specials and the staff are very friendly and prompt. However, the last time I was there it was finally a nice day, (+11c), and they had the AC on! It was cold inside which is especially bad when you've worked outside all day. You come in a bit sweaty and then catch a horrible chill.

Poor service, slow and forgotten drinks and soggy nachos. Shame, as we went there for a celebration.

Used to be good, but has really gone downhill. Bathrooms were trashed, nachos were stale, and our scotch was watered down. I think they're going under. No beer on tap and shelves of hard alcohol were very sparse.

Good place to play pool and hangout. Wrong pricing from the website to the actual menu.

Great place to drop in for a bite and a brew. Solid drink selection, great prices, and the food is towards the top of the spectrum for Pub fare. The chicken wings are among the best in the city, and they don't cheap out with crappy chicken on Wing Night (like a lot of other pubs do)! One of my favorite spots in the entire city.

I used to go here all the time when I was in university. Their wings are quite good even on Tuesday when they have wings night. Good selection of flavours too.

A Calgary classic. I love this place. Excellent and reasonably priced food, and usually great service.

Shares the ambiance of the old Moose and the old Riverstone.

Wings were just as good as they were at the original Moose.

They've done some good covid protection installations. Lots of space too, so well set up for the limited capacity requirements under second wave protocols.

Poutine was good. Lots of sports on the multiple tvs.

So nice to have a new pub in our neighborhood open up, after closure of the Riverstone. The restaurant itself is very clean and well sanitized and they have signs on each table, indicating whether it has been sanitized or not. Tables are well spaced out. Staff and owner very friendly and welcoming. Food was very good. Wing specials tuesday evenings, with lots of varieties to choose from. Highly recommend trying out our new neighborhood pub.

Easy going place, good food, good drink selection and good staff... just good!

I used to go here alot..... used to. The parking has changed I got a 85 ticket when you are supposed to get 3 free hrs. I registered my plate in machine properly but it doesn't give you a receipt I took it to Kevin the manager and he was not helpful at all in fact . Said he didn't know what to tell me. Not goin back. Only gave 1 star because I had to

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good and very reasonable price.

I was there on a Monday for a beer and some food. I had the steak sandwich special for $10 which is decent size cut; it was cooked perfect and absolutely delicious. The interior of the place is really nice too.

Thank you to the tall blonde server who put up with all the rowdy boys in our group. You did great. I'm sorry I cant remember the name.

The steak sandwich is a hit or miss. When it's good. It's absolutely delicious. When its a miss it's still good. Just a little tough to eat. 8/10 times it's absolutely delicious!

This has been my Go-To pub since 2005. Amazing chicken wings, solid selection of brew on tap and a one page food menu PACKED with high quality items. Keeping things simple and doing it right, this place ROCKS.

This has changed a lot in 5 years. Great beer selection and fast service. Food was OK. A bit too much goop on the burger.

Always go here for the wings night. The wings are great but the servers are very rude.

Lovely pub, weird parking restrictions, but that's not their fault. Delicious good, friendly and and warm staff. Everything was clean and fresh.

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. Pub was quiet, service was very good, and food was easily 4/5. Great pub fare menu, friendly staff and cold beers! It was a little dark in the table areas yet the bar area was brightly lit. We will stop by again!

Ordered takeout and it was very tasty. Had the big moose pizza, a vintage burger, Californiegg burger, and poutine. Sides were Cesar salad and fries. The salad dressing didn't seem like Kraft out of a bottle; homemade? The burgers were excellent. The food traveled well and they don't use styrofoam.

The interior looked great. Very clean.

Only criticisms are the double burger seems like too much burger as a default size, and there aren't any vegetarian options on the menu other than 1 pizza.

The bartenders and servers are some some of some of the friendliest staff I've ever come across. Good specials and awesome fish tacos! For 10.95 on Wednesdays wuuuut! (10.45? Neither? Who knows either way it's rad) this place is everything you should be looking for in a friendly neighborhood pub. #keepthemoosealive

Average drink and food selection. Service is relatively slow if busy. Also is close to the university so it can sometimes be busier than usual.

The price for food items was good but the calamari was not so good. And not worth the price you pay. May not return here.

Drink specials should be earlier starting as well as daily food specials not after 3pm.

Waited a long time to have order taken and when the pizza came it was awe full. It was very undercooked, there was barely and cheese and way too much sauce. If you go only have a drink, the food is definitely not worth it.

Near the university so the crowd is usually from that demographic. Pool tables and a long, classic bar make it feel comfortable. However in the middle of Winter, it was surprisingly cold!

This hidden little gem has a wonderful selection of craft beer; including a specific beer that was brewed ( off site) just for their location/business. The staff was very friendly, professional, and beautifully soulful waitresses.
Along side the many large television screens, a perfect place for gathering for any game. They have enough TVs to show them all. They also have pool tables and tall bar stools and such.
Would recommend this as a casual hangout. Didnt have the opportunity to try the food, but I'm sure the sports fan would go elsewhere if it weren't good.
Bonus, they provide the four hours of free parking.

Pretty decent bar not gonna lie. Free pool would grab a bunch of the uni crowd, but they're killing it with the sports coverage
