I as a homeless veteran found the help I've needed. Never seen anything like it and am excited about being a part. Staff show respect and know (some firsthand) where we come from and where we are when we walk in the door.The word HOPE might be bigger than you thought.Thank God !!

This place aint what they make them self's to be. Place could need a better system is all. And so under staff. God is good for those that look at the better picture. No one is ever pleased satisfied but blessed we give thanks.

This center is a place for those who have nowhere to go. They offer a variety of services to get you back on your feet.

Program connects you with counseling and job training and provides you a place to stay on the Transformation Campus. Life saving if they have room.

Not so great if you end up at Prospects Court Yard.

So much help for those who are needing a hand up not a hand out

I am pleased to say Haven for Hope is really a great place for us low income or no income residents. Thank you for caring! Great Doctors, great staff and also they all go the extra mile in assisting us with our needs, whether its Dental, Eyeglasses, etc!

Great place to go if you're battling drug addiction, homelessness, or anything else.

Bunch of loud, lazy, dirty, mooching, thieving, and disrespectful people wasting peoples tax dollars. The ones who work can t sleep because of the ones living off the government and can t keep their belongings because of the thief s.

Does not help anyone..only hurts and puts people dwn more..

Once a member always a member, had an asthma attack went to centro med. The beautiful ladies at Centro Med took care of me, no problem, i dont have insurance, no problem, left with albuterol inhalation aerosol. No problem! Thank you!

The staff really have no clue.
You can ask the same question to every staff personal and get different answers from all of them.
Members side has more opportunities than the courtyard, which is really not fair to the people that really want a hand up instead of a hand out..
Courtyard has mentally ill mixed in with the rest of the people. Really not good judgment.
They have a room for everybody's medicine ,BUT not 1 licensed person to give out the medicine. ( State & Federal laws )
Private security what a jpke !
They really didn't do their homework on the head of the private security! !

They give you shelter, but is over crowded and violent.

Well what can I say. The security there is a joke. They are so disorganized. People go there for help and it's like a prison. You can't take snacks, sodas, or candy to people that are in rehab there. The guards act like they are enforcers. The place was dirty and they never tested once for Covid 19

Great place to volunteer looking forwarded to getting a job here soon with God willing.

The person's down-on-their-luck I need a place to start over and willing to give it their all this place is a blessing. I call it Ground Zero because it's only two ways you can go are down. For me it was a blessing because I was able to go in do what I had to do and manifest a blessing out of a dark situation that's the only reason I gave it five stars

Its a decent shelter but cant complain for having a roof over your head and 3 meals a day ! They offer alot of resources to help you as well as employment and bus tickets to help you get to and from interviews.

Has good assistance and good info to help out people that are in need .

Call this place haven of no hope. Texas is conservative and do not care about the poor at all. First you have to sleep outside. They don't have a indoor or new shelter to put them inside of. Then they give you a ticket and your ticket is access to food. No ticket no food. Horrible

The city needs to watch how things are handled there are questionable practices and the drug use is rampant and an abundance of illegal activity Management knows and is ignoring facts

I saw people being forced to sleep on the concrete in the rain. That's terrible. I mean how is that offering hope? If I could give negative stars for this inhumane treatment I would. If they really wanted to help people it wouldn't take days or months or even years to get them a place to sleep. Shame on you!

Waited 2 years and was only given a filling after pleading to help the pain. Now I will probably have to wait another 2 years for a cleaning unless God forbid I become homeless. Texas really needs to start helping with affordable dental care.

This was great place for an abused friend and her children, resources available to get the basics going and assist you in future choices; varied counseling and legal assistance as well! My friend now is in her own home thanks to this place ...

It's overcrowded which brings on the issues of harm to the temporary residents.

The place is not what it is made out to be. You people that say you have been there and it's not bad. Well are you the one that has to stay there. No so you don't have to let the cards look though your stuff that what little you do got and put it in the trash cause it can't go in the gates. You have to use the bag they give you our you can't take your stuff inside. It has to go in the trash or you do go in. So before you go and say this place is not bad try and stay out here like we have to and see how much help you get from these people. They just tell you what you want to hear. They keep just telling you the same thing over and over again and never get any help. They put our clothes in the trash after they told us to call if we were in the hospital so they won't go in the trash so we did but in the trash our clothes went after calling 2 times. The people are just there for that check.

They're good about accepting people that who are need of a place to stay

Great place to get on your feet. From entry level to post treatment.

Great opportunitys with helpfull staff. People actually care and don't judge each other. This place is free and is a blessing in disguise.

This place was amazing it really saved mine and my families lives and took us from being homeless great place to be if you are really in need staff was amazing here as well

More ways to suppress and sustain a lower class to make the middle class not feel like the lower class.

Mean hostile staff. Drug addicts and scammers stay here. They treat out of town homeless like foreigners out the country. And if you're pregnant they refuse to give you a decent sleeping arrangement. Racism at it's finest a white women called a black man the n word. Getting to the better living areas are a shot in 1 being that u have to go to intake center daily to see if there's room. They will help the military before they help a pregnant women that's actually employed do not recommend.

Everything needed to succeed through these hard times is available at HAVEN FOR HOPE.

This place has a lot of resources for any and every resident, in one place...

They hate homeless and poor people..the judge and stereotype and they cater and treat gays and lesbians better than hard working straight people..

Loved everything about it. Which includes their size and enormous responsibility. Wow

Wonderful facility for housing homeless individuals and families.

It's what you make of it. If you want to go far and get on track they will go above and beyond to help you. If you choose to do nothing with your life they still provide for the many in PCY. I owe haven a huge thanks.

This place I stay at reeks of urine and feces. People here do not bathe and the food, which is OK, is talked bad about because servings are normal sized, not gigantic. Lots of problems - staff is too close to clients and favoritism on brink of racism is prevalent. Theft is an everyday thing and staff protects the thief's, kicking them out for one day. The thief's know if you fight you will be kicked out, with no place to go the victims are kowtowed to not complain or they will lose devices.Weapons are there because staff let's clients enter ever after a fail notification at the metal detector. So why do I hate this place, because they would close a dog pound if it was in this condition.

It really is a Haven for Hope. Most of the staff are peers that have come thru a program and have succeeded. Giving others the hope from own lives.

It was insitefull coming here for the first time, but the security is a bit concerning. I was able to walk through with my coworkers and some other individuals without being checked or searched. This is a red flag because if this is how lenient security is, things that shouldn't be brought in can make it in easily. I hope this is improved for everyone's safety.

The staff here are amazing...Regina is my case manager, Ben approved Diesel as my service K9...

They are awful to the people that need the most help. Drugs, crime, no space. I'm trying to help a few people leave this place.

I was homeless i joined itp program stayed 120 days let after that got housing now i have my first apartment and im not homeless any more i have a regular doctor i see when im sick or need meds haven for hope is a true blessing its about if you want make a change in your life and how important is the change to you is it worth 120 days to sacrifice to get all benefits you need i was even given furniture and clothes free of charge in my new apartment to me life's really important and i made the right change to better my living arrangements.

My own experience was noting but disrespectful poeple,lost,lazy,or distractected. I say like a frozen shelter. Thanks and take care.

Haven for hope is saving lives and is helping the community and I have witnessed this and experienced it as well!!

Without them i wouldn't be as far as i am. They still helping me in ways when i need them and i don't stay their. They give me hope and gave me the thought.... Keep going don't give up yet. Its hard here and out there but keep on going we here

They do everything to help you as long as you are willing.

I'm not sure if Haven for Hope is affiliated but I know of at least five people who died shortly after leaving the Haven for Hope members area and these are the people that I know of.

Good services, really want to help people. Make sure you have ID and are in by curfew

Helped me when i needed it the most. Got me on my feet. Really ahead of its time with helping homeless population. Especially if you want and NEED the help.

It could be better but it could be worse they help a lot with jobs and school also daycare.

It's OK but h4h stuff don't really care about people who live here they tend to change the rules everyday

When I went to Haven for Hope in 2011, I had hit rock bottom. I remember crying my eyes out and feeling like a total loser. They provided me safety, comfort and counseling while i found my feet again and started to rebuild my life. It's probably the best shelter and homeless resource center in North America.
