Forget the shopping (unless you re super rich) it s just fun to wander around and see the extravagant and beautiful items. Favourite game is guess the price and just dreaming up how I would decorate my dream home.

It's marvelous to visit, beyond belief what they are selling at one place.
Only thing is the price, that is equally beyond belief. Prices are SOOO over the top. One example is a Mango (fruit) that price was 20 pound(25 euro). Here in the Netherlands I bought one for 1 Euro.

Harrods should be on any locals or tourists list of things to do in london.

It is the epicenter of excess and should be celebrated for it, you'll be hard pressed to not find the most extravagant version of the thing you're looking for in Harrods. From future tech, designer clothing and the most amazing selection of food and ingredients.

The staff are always courteous and the presentation is no less than immaculate

The selection is fantastic. W3 had great service from the gentleman selling cheese and charcuterie. The Wagyu beef, truffle prosciutto and mortadella, truffle gouda and cranberry stilton were all fantastic.

Amazing architecture, a high end shipping complex with all good brands. Harrods chocolate section is a must visit. Their fresh food section is also worth mentioning. Harrods gift shop area is perfect to buy souvenirs

High end shopping mall. Most of the brands within Harrods are branded. It looks like a maze as was my first time there. Have to ask the staff there on how to exit the building to the Main Street.

An beautiful department store with plenty to choose from. The prices aren't for the feint of heart as this store caters to a high end clientele but it is really enjoyable to walk around. There are lots of stores to choose from and even a Christmas store with lots of lovely decorations.

Great store fast service, items in stock, when you make a purchase here you really feel like you've made it. Recommended store for purchase of designer label items. Easy access from public and private transport. Only thing that would make them better is to accept reservations of items that customers are sure they want to buy.

Everyone should visit this place. It's an experience on its own. I had an one of a kind hot chocolate at Godiva cafeteria situated inside the shopping centre. Must visit on your next trip to London.

It is worth to stroll through it and watch all the 'poor' rich people that need to buy all this expensive stuff. A few things are affordable for normal earning people like me. One of those things is the coffee which I can actually recommend since they have their own roasting plant so that the coffee really tastes super fresh. Even without buying anything, it is worth it to have a look and observe other people ;)

What can I say? After decades of books, movies and other visitors' portrayal of Harrods, this place still managed to wow me.

The restrooms were fancy and smelled great.
Actually the entire place smelled good. I liked that.
There was an escalator hall done up in Egyptian motif that made the ride . . . well, not a bore. Since I was in the moment, I truly forgot to take pictures.

Perfect place to shop. Never miss the sale during Boxing Day
Its easy to get there by train or bus.
Lots of shops inside.
Food, cosmetics, chocolates, gifts, travel related items, healthcare and so many things to see there.
Could easily take about 3 hours just to look around.
A must go place in London I would say.
Staff are super friendly too.

What an overwhelming place. To be completely frank, I don't like Macy's in Herald Square either, and that was all the vibes I got from Harrods. I'm sure it's very magical for some; it wasn't for me.

I really don't get the fuss people make over this place. Everything is 15% or more over the high street price, staff are placed in spots to ram products in your face and most of the products are dated and need a refresh (even the exclusive brands. Unless they're holding on to key items for their own stores which makes sense).
Stick to the high streets or even visit Sloane Square for better/same products at better prices

Full of tourists very few there to buy anything. As a result very very congested to the point of being unpleasant. Could not get served easily and had intention to spend but had to give up and leave.

I simply adore the 'DELI' counter in the Food Hall .. I can only find my 'Mortadella with pistachio nuts,' there.. no-one carries it anymore at any other store...apart from that the service I receive in store is perfect ..the staff know what I like and how I want it!! So I am extremely happy !!,, Thank you to everyone....

Harrods is a confusing maze of clothes, food and accessories and it's honestly brilliant. While it may be the most confused shopping experience that Is akin to shopping within a rather Bank vault that you have accidently stumbled upon it is well worth a trip even if you so not intend to buy something. Holds most mainstream brands plus some more niche ones that can be hard to find offline so we'll worth a trip for anyone with the money or anyone who can afford it!

if you don't look like a rich Arab or some classy European, don't expect them to even look at you for them to serve you... verdict: just get what you need, pay, do the tax refund and leave

A huge shopping centre. 7 floors with numerous shops. Fun to look around, as long as you dont look at the prices in said shops.

Prepare to spend a lot of money if you want anything from here. It is a must see however if you have never been here

Simply one of the most incredible places in London. I have always enjoyed visiting over the years I ve come to London and now I m living down here, it s a place a love to visit frequently. I m writing this review while we are going through what is happening in world... but I have to admit I can t wait for Harrods to reopen in the near future. Highly recommended.

Probably a must-see on most London visits, but the experience itself isn t amazing. Very crowded, very cramped, and not a whole lot of anything special or unique on offer - it s just another department store.

Great place to go great building, and lots of escalators to navigate between floors . Great to find what new and innovative products you never knew existed, so that you can go home find them on Ebay and get them cheaper . If you can afford to spend 100 pounds for speciality baked beans or equivalent, then then this is the place for you.

I think everybody even shopping haters should see and going around in Harrods, its the London luxury life style, from the shops and restaurants till tye quartiere around of it. I like the Status of Princess Diana in the basement near toilet and liberty symbol. This is Harrods!

Beautiful building, well guarded by hundreds of security staff to protect the precious contents. Not my cup of tea. They have the Christmas wonderland on, hence the Christmas tree photo, but where was the wow factor (except on the price ticket). Not my cup of Earl Grey.

We got lost in here after 3 rooms it's like a huge labyrinth! So be careful take a map with a compass or GPS with you and enough remaining battery life for a whole day.
They definitely know how to get the customers.

Harrods food Hall has always been a temptation I could never resists. I adore the chocolate collections they carry as well as the ready to eat food especially the cesar salad chicken wrap.
However I absolutley adore the patisserie section especially the Russian honey cake is devine.
At Christmas time they have a plethora of tasty treats and I do love the food hall gift selection.

However the crowds have become unbearable lately and I prefer to take the cakes as a take away and enjoy it at home. However they do run out of cakes quite often just before closing time and more than once I was disappointed.
