Very famous department store. Came here 10 years apart and nothing really changed. Staff are friendly, but it's always packed with tourists checking out the high prices. Great place to go to look around and have a bit of a walk around, but don't expect to spent much money here unless you're rolling in it. It is very easy to get lost in here, but to be honest, it's part of the fun. Facilities are very nice and well kept.
Incredible place! Fantastic attention to detail on all areas of marketing! Second to none in a real class of it's own! Worth a visit if on a trip to London. No other department store like it. Far exceeds the likes of John Lewis, Selfridges and House of Fraser etc.
A different level of shopping experience here. All the best brands from all over the world all in one place. The layout and design of the whole building is unique to harrods. I love coming here and it is a must visit place in london for all those shopping people who not only enjoy a shop but the whole experience on a different level too. If you love coffee, head to the Coffee Roasters where one can buy freshly roasted coffee or sit by the Coffee Bar for a nice cuppa

A wonderful department store that has everything you could imagine. A great place to buy a gift anytime of the year. You easily can get lost too. The architecture inside is really pretty and the staff very friendly. I would definitely go back one day.

However, human warmth is one of the most significant points in the population of London and in England in general.
In my opinion, give this man a medal. I found him helping a woman with her luggage, as if he were her father, I asked him if we could take a picture together and he accept, joyful as a child. One of the first Londoners I met on my trip and I will never forget...

Harrods is more than I ever expected. It is the largest department store I have ever visited. It is like going to at least 20 different department stores under one roof. There are at least 7 levels. You need to give yourself at least 3 or more hours there. There are about 13 restaurants inside. It is really hard to explain how wonderful this store is.

Amazing, the interior is a work of art. Remember the saying though.... American express, don't leave home without it, because you are definately gonna need it with these price tags. It is Harrods after all.
A labyrinth of a store. Easy to get lost and that's not a criticism as there's lots to see. The food hall is brilliant, the home delivery service makes the purchase of things like rugs easy and the jewellery departments are comprehensive though unfortunate that Harrods customers don't receive any greater degree of access to rarer pieces of jewellery or watches. The toy department has been remodeled rather unfortunately and the queues are far too long in many of the more well trodden departments.

Bought a stunning time piece from here yesterday and the service from Darlena was excellent the whole customer service this lady bought was phenomenal from the moment the watch was sourced and until the end of the sale of the rolex.

If you are a shopaholic like my wife then you'll love this place. The staff are really helpful and always on hand if you need some help finding an item. Certain items are very pricey!

It's a nice place to browse, i like what they've done to the technology department but the toy department should be open-plan like before with sweet street together. I prefer the open plan floor and I dislike the 1st floor and 2nd floor small boutiques. The food halls were better before I don't know why they changed it.
Could spend a week in here, great selection in all departments and staff were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Can t wait to go back!
Everything is ornate and it's such a joy to be in such a lovely setting. The food hall is especially a treat to be in.
Harrods is an awesome place we go regularly our fav restaurant is the grill the wagu fillet steak is to die for! Weve had the chicken, the steaks and the burgers and anything weve eaten we loved!

I like harrods obviously who doesn't but the only thing I don't like are the lighting in the makeup section it's too dull to test foundation. I bought Huda Beauty foundation and tried it on my face but the lighting was just so bad that I ended up buying a darker shade for my skin and unfortunately you can not return foundations back. :(

I loved this place, yes it can get busy however the atmosphere inside is amazing. There is everything you can think of from brands, housewares, food. You can get lost as its very huge, some of the staff are helpful and some just are on duty and dont pay much attention to customers. I went quite late so when it was closing down, people were rushing out and not really happy about that. However a good experience.
Really nice interior with an beautiful egyptian theme escalator, it is nice to visit but it is a bit expensive. I believe it is more of a tourist destination as it is always crowded. As always a must see for any visitor.

My favourite store, I could honestly spend hours here. Trying the cupcakes are a must, we bought a box as we were celebrating my daughters 16th Birthday, they were absolutely stunning. The girls at the Huda Beauty counter were amazing with my eldest daughter, her colour match for her foundation was perfect. We also went to see the Bonnie and Pearl display, my 9 year old daughter is a huge fan of these stunning dolls.
Great historic building and a very famous store. However, the floor plan is very confusing and no easy directions. It would be helpful if they have a very clear customer service desk on the ground floor. The tax refund service was impressive and fast, as there are a lot of tourists buying stuff here.
Obviously I think most people know what they are getting into when they come here. Full of curious tourists and super wealthy entitled people. Take your pick. That being said it can be interesting to look at the decor and window shop for those that don't have the means to shop here, as its quite a sight to behold. Unless you have a lot of time I'd recommend picking a couple of departments and browsing through those and then leaving (the food hall is pretty neat in its own right). If all you want are souvenirs and the green bag, the gifts area will be where you want to be.

It's been many years since I had the joy of shopping at this most iconic store, but decided at Christmas to look at buying online. They did not disappoint! I was able to find three lovely gifts at reasonable prices. They were mailed in a very timely manner, and when they arrived I was very pleased with that Harrods quality. I missed out on the atmosphere, the lovely places to eat, the food shops with their glorious selection, the clothes, everything! but for all that, my online experience was excellent.
The almighty Harrods! This shop is definitely a must to visit even if you're not buying something.
The interior is incredible and the sheer size is mind-blowing. The food mall is fascinating as it has cool affordable foods and the central escalators are beautifully decorated with an Egyptian style.
The shop does get busy but there is plenty of room to meander even with a pram.

What's there to say it is Harrods. Full of overpriced things I really really want but can not afford. Lovely place to window shop but always feel deflated that I never leave with anything I want.
What can I say? This place is a must visit. There is something to see for everybody. We did the Ice Cream bar this time. Not one complaint & many smiles were had.

It would be easy to criticise this place on the basis that it is dated, and the stuff is expensive. But certainly with the regards to the Food Hall it still makes for a unique and useful shopping experience.
The Food Hall is fantastic, and you can but top grade Sushi, French Cheeses, Wines and Dried Meats. I cannot think of another place where you could do this with such convenience.
Although Harrods is famous for luxury but layout is boring and tasteless. It feel like you are in a mini shopping centre with small shops where they are only interested to sell their own products. There is no good feel factor and warmness. If you have money to burn and don't have time to enjoy the service then this is for you. Mostly are Arabs who back home have no care for service, so it only suits them but people with taste well not appreciate it.
