Such an amazing store. And I love people watching there also. So many interesting sites. Point to note...The doormen do such a great job. So many people don't acknowledge them or even say thankyou. I can't wait to visit again.
As they are not aloud in the store.

Probably the best place in London for shopping. If you have got some money in your pocket, they wont stay anymore with you. Modern design in the old building is more than perfect.
The site is spectacular, however, we were deceived in the sale of toys for Christmas, they sold us some toys and the explanation they gave was just for us to buy it was a device that turned by electromagnetism according to them and when the children opened the gifts the device It was with very fine thread. I felt cheated. That this site has to use to throw me to sell their products seems very low.
Exquisite decor with the biggest variety of brands of clothes, cosmetics, shoes, lingerie, linen and a whole lot more. You can spend days and days shopping and drinking coffee.
Enjoyed every minuite. Staff exceptionally helpful. Always service with a smile! Cafe and toilets available on every floor. Be sure to go to service desk for VAT forms early as can get quite busy.
One of the most magical places in the world. Can never keep away - unfortunate for my bank balance! The foodhall is my particular favourite but I am also often found in the Beauty area on the top floor.
A wonderful place to come and explore even if it's too pricey for your budget. I visited with my 4 year old daughter and the staff here were fantastic, they were very attentive made her feel like a little princess!
Used to be amazing. SANTA'S grotto was a joke this year.... we paid for nothing. Used to be free with personalised kids gifts and an afternoon tea. Now it's by invitation only, no food or drink, 15 mins with santa and rubbish gifts.
It's hard to rate Harrods as a whole. Some areas are fabulous, other areas have rude staff and are simply overpriced. Yesterday we visited the wine section on the lower ground floor. Luke (the wine expert) took his time to explain the various types of wine and even provided some samples. Very friendly service and we'll definitely return!
This is for the online service. I attempted to cancel an order made in error within 1 hour. However orders cannot be cancelled online. So I called customer service only to be placed in a virtual queue, hold for 20 min, and then be disconnected. This happened twice in a row. When I finally managed to get through to a person, they assured me the order was cancelled. I waited 14 days for a refund. Nothing. I called again and went through a similar process as the first time - hold, get disconnected, etc. Again I was told the order was cancelled but the refund hadn t been processed and they weren t sure why so they needed to investigate. It has now been 30 days and still no refund and no follow up to explain what on earth is going on. DO NOT ORDER FROM HARRODS ONLINE. Appalling. And I say this as a formally loyal gold tier rewards customer. Never again!
Over priced, overcrowded, and overrated. Nice stuff at outrageous prices. If you go, make sure you pick up a map, otherwise you'll have no idea where you are with the confusing layout. .
Wow, we were in there for an hour and hardly scratched the surface!! There is so much to see and do. The staff are really kind and helpful and one went out of his way to explain how this one expensive whiskey was made. Really interesting! It often is really crowded with tourists but still is a really good place to visit!
A must place to visit when in London. The newly refurbished foodhall and restaurants are great. Although I do disagree with the automated check out. They have moved around the department's so if you haven't been there in a while it's worth the visit. There's a new tech department as well which is amazing and we'll refurbished with new items. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
Harrods is Harrods. I am never disappointed visiting there. I love watching shoppers there, great experience to learn about people's interactions. In the Food department I always find something tempting me to spend some money, so I can indulge it later at home.
I LOVE HARRODS! However it s a big maze! Omg I had to pee and I couldn t find the restroom for 20 minutes. It s a great destination spot, make sure you have on comfy shoes
Harrods really nice posh store has things you might not find any where else. Some amazing things as well as the prices might make you're hair stand on end. It is a famous store of Knightsbridge London . A must visit.
I love the new gift shop on the lower ground floor. I specifically wanted to buy a waterproof kitchen apron but there was only a choice of 2 designs. I noted that the sizing is also smaller than the ones sold in previous years. I am a little disappointed but I still love Harrods.
I love coming here even when I have nothing to buy. It's just really nice walking around browsing their goods and perhaps(or usually) finding something that catches your eye. My first stop is usually the food hall as I love their selection of teas and biscuits as well as chocolate. The staff are all very friendly and very great with directions. The building, however, could have clearer signs for escalators/lifts as well as general directions
A shopping experience. See the most expensive brands from around the world displayed and sold professionally. It's not cheap so you won't find a bargain. But the quality is obvious. It exudes opulence from every corner of the store. Staff are knowledgeable and cater for many nationalities. It is very busy from rich shoppers looking for luxury gifts and curious tourists just bewildered at the extravagance.
Stopped at the Coffee Bar. Went for the Jamaican Blue Mountain Filter Coffee with some indulgence cake next to it. Perfect taste, good made and what a nice 'soft' coffee that was. Loved it.
As busy as expected at Christmas time, but turn down the heat! The staff were really into their jobs and loved entertaining the kids with the latest cool toys. Loved the tech section. I even saw a TV that cost over $100,000!
Had a bad experience on the 1st floor sales section
The manager(don t know the name but she was a black lady) was so rude to answer my questions
I was trying to buy clothes from sale area, one of the coat was damaged and she promised to repair it for free(refused to give 5% discount). I purchased it at the end, then she won t fix it for me (The reason is Sale items are not fixable)
A lovely place to go to at christmas, the food hall is very impressive. Possibly more of a tourist attraction than a shop at this point. But it's still a great experience. You could kill a couple hours just walking around the seemingly enslave floor space of the place. I can't imagine the cost of lighting the place up like that but is surely is worth it as it makes it so beautiful at this time of year. It's a must go place for people visiting London for the first time. Probably bring a resuscitation kit for yourself and family when you see the prices though!
Harrods food court was Very elegant. Can be expensive but a lot of effort and passion put in.I had a lovely carrot cake. With a coffee latte. Lovely lady was served well with a smile. It's a nice place to walk around if your in the area and want to look around and try some food. Food quarter has food from everywhere around the world
Well yeah, it's Harrods, of global fame. If you haven't heard of it then you are probably one of the few people in existence in our consumer hungry society that are oblivious to the popular past time called "shopping". I used to go there when their Christmas or summer sales were meaningful. However, if you don't care how much things cost, or if you want to brag that you bought something from the infamous store then it's your place, otherwise it is nothing exceptional, other than the building itself of course.
Great store. The renovations and relocation of concessions will be awesome in the end. The foreign lady in the JJ Fox cigar shop is still condescending no matter how many times I visit. Shame...it's where I would love to visit the most.
Ok it's expensive but if you want some souvenirs it is the place to go to buy tea! You should go in the Egyptian stair case it's fabulous! Eating something fresh is good too, from any country almost!
What an amazing experience!! This is the best shipping store I've ever been to and they have a Tea Room and a Fresh Food/Flower Market and a decadent Dessert Bar tooooo
No commenta needed: this is Harrods. If you like food, avoid the tourist session and go straight to the food stall. You will always fins amazing cheeses for a picnic at the nearby Hyde Park.
This institution is not really a department store. Harrods is a collection of high end brand boutiques. Every conceivable luxury brand is featured. Great place for people watching.
I have to say I used to like Harrods for a few reasons, quality, service and exclusive.
However I do feel that they have lost some of these qualities, some products are average, service still good, but the place is so busy service feels rushed.
Harrods always leaves me speechless, what an amazing place as I buy all my stuff from here. It is simply the most comprehensive super premium amalgamation of the highest end boutiques under one roof, perhaps anywhere in the world. Even the food hall is super high end premium. Unfortunately the outside of the building is under construction so you can't take in the grandeur and quaintness from the outside, but once you're inside, hold on, it's out of this world. Thanks to Brent in management for my VIP card
I seldom venture further than the all enticing Food Hall..It,s an iconic and world renowned place though and with very good reason..I once did the Conga through there with some Evertonian friends before a Cup Final, having visited The Green Man Pub.The staff took in very good stead. It's the Store that has everything, including employing people with a sense of humour.--(My friends were all singing "On the Dole, On the Dole, On the Dole " ), despite the fact we all had jobs..Nobody involved Security though, so thank you Harrods, and my sincere apologies for our behaviour..We were all just a li,l bit over- excited..Visiting there has become something of a ritual at Christmas time too,as they put so much effort into their displays.
Always pleasure experience shopping here. Nearest to Knightsbridge tube station on Piccadilly line. The foods eats at Harrods are one of favorite thing to do without a doubt. Can t forget the taste of Chicken and porks at Rotisserie :) even my mom who is not so big fan of pork, loved it.
Fun to look round how the other half live if they can afford the prices there. Some gorgeous items with matching price tags n very easy to get lost in the store
