Not sure what happened - different owner? - but Harrods was unrecognizable compared to the last time I visited (many years ago). I remember Harrods as a place so interesting and unique it was worth a separate visit. This time, a trivial brand-name super-expensive jewelry and perfumery store. This one is out of my list of places to visit in London.

What's not to love about this iconic British store. Loved my time Christmas shopping with my sons here. Can't wait for next Christmas to do it all again. Helpful staff too for assisting me with my shopping and pushchair considering how busy it was in there.

Dream place for everyone that loves shopping or sightseeing. Harrods Department Store is a religion, history and a temple of fashion. Worth a visit even without buying anything. It will be one time experience!

The store is really nice in terms of it's luxury feel. Staff were friendly and informative. The only reason i didn't give Harrods a 5 star was because many items i checked didn't have clear pricing meaning you had to constantly find a assistant to check the price.

Love this place. From the food to the service to the actual shopping. Harrods does NOT disappoint.

Awesome place to walk through. If you want to buy something you need to have two jobs, a sugar daddy and a small loan of a million dollars. Posh.

First class store. Excellent quality products. Attentive staff. Difficult to navigate, not very good signage. Very expensive. Excellent range of goods including all high value luxury brands. Food section is very high quality including various innovative sweet breads and desserts.

Breathtaking. You find yourself quite taken in, perhaps captivated, by the beautiful assault on the senses. Mesmorising, and not to be missed by any would-be fashionistas coming round London-way.

Spent an obcene amout of money here, on the food floor and for high tea in the cafe, but it was worth every penny. Definitely bucket list, delightful experiences. Exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. The woman at the caviar counter spent a full half an hour with me to explain the differences and merits of their caviar selection, answered my every question, and packaged my purchase with utmost and professional care and attention. High tea in the cafe was perfect in every way - perfect service (they suggested ordering one service to split between us, adding only an extra tea and dessert, which was perfect), perfectly tasty scones, cream, and sweets, and adorable pots of jam and Harrods brand bottles of sparkling water. Playing filthy rich for a day was 100 percent accomplished! Just a couple of down sides: too much selection was super overwhelming, particularly in the chocolate shop, the high tea savouries were slightly underwhelming, and the shops are much too much like labyrinths - easy to get lost!

Have been visiting since a child and it never fails to be a wonderful experience. You are always treated equally by all the staff and I have never encountered any snobbery despite some people's misconceptions of it only being a shop for "Rich people". Always a great visit it doesn't disappoint.

Lost my family in Harrods! It's huge with every conceivable thing! Was helped by mauritzio and Susan in the kids department! Awesome service. Well worth a visit!

Excellent place to buy chocolates. Hundreds of varieties to choose from. You can also look for fresh breads and what not. Good place to shop.

The food hall makes the best quiche I ever tasted in my whole life! I travel from Canary Wharf every day to buy one and its the only thing I look forward to - period.

If you ever discontinue that quiche you will ruin my life . FYI I like the beetroot and goat cheese and the lorrain

Also the guy who manages the maison Francis Kurkdijan perfume counter is the funniest and loveliest guy! I can t remember his name but we chatted for ages the other day and he was extremely entertaining. Great asset to harrods

One more thing I just want to say that everyone who works for you seems very happy to be there Wich is rare in retail, so you must treat your staff well . Theyre positivity makes my day And empties my purse

The coffee bar in Harrods is outstanding. To all the coffee lovers... this is the best spot. Mohammed served us and he was fabulous!!

Harrods is a luxury and sophisticated shop, with many roles and the best that has exclusive perfumes, there is after the almond chocolate I advise you, and to buy gifts and souvenirs for relatives and friends Harrods products are priced reasonable and high quality

Probably the best luxury shopping mall in London?
The interior is very unique, the outside architecture breathtaking, the people are very helpful.
A must in London!

Great place. Everything under one roof. Love the sushi bar. Would be worth a visit if nearby.

Great store. A little expensive, but fund to shop around in nonetheless. The food market is always a treat. Try mixing a bag of custom tea if you really want a fun souvenir.

Amazing as ever. On a break to London and went here again. The foodhall is a sight to behold, cakes, meats, cheeses, confectionery, most outside my price range but a wonderful place.

Got absolutely fantastic service from Armani department! Gentleman who helped me to choose a perfume was extremely professional and represented the brand on the highest level. I don t remember his name but when I ll be back, want him to assist me again xoxo

Harrods. You just can't go to London without visiting Harrods. First class in the heart of London.

I went to London and to the top 1 most luxury store Harrods, I was looking forward to treat myself with a little gift, I have been service by your staff Lucia, she was nice and helpful at beginning and tried to help me find the belt ,however when she brought the belt it has some folds I have noticed , I tried to point out them and I was being told from her that it was in perfect condition all leather goods are like that. That s was obviously a displayed piece many people tried it and the way she was telling me like I know nothing, this kind of attitude made me very uncomfortable and upset. however she went on and on we almost got in to an argument and at all the time she was trying to prove that I was wrong.
I just couldn t believe that s is the way how a luxury department store harrods and the one of biggest groups Kerings brand Gucci has a staff treat their customers like this way.
Really bad experience !

nice location, they have everything i like to eat it the restaurants there specially the baby chickens, there chocolates are nice specially the almond chocolate even though i find it a bit pricey, clothes and brands i feel it's not organized well so i find some difficulties to find what i want to buy. i liked the members card system and it will be better to find easier way for TAX refunding system.

Visit if you are looking for Oriental Arab market experience. Meant for Gulf tourists. Will not offer much for tourists from India. Better places like Oxford street are there to do shopping.

Just wow. One could spend hours here. So much to see ... you can shop and eat. Everyone will find something they love at Harrods.

Lovely place to just look around even if you don't plan on buying anything. I could easily spend hours in here. The place is beautifully set up and everything invites you to look at it. The employees are kind and helpful and will answer any query as best as possible even if they know you are not planning on buying anything from their store. The place is easy to navigate with labels around indicating which section you will enter, and I must note that the escalators are beautiful. The atmosphere is nice as it is never too crowded since the area is large.

Nice to visit to see how the other half live. one small thing the cloakroom was not very nice could do with a air freshener and nice handcream have been to better places like the Ritz keep good Stander's up as you have lots of overseas visitors !

Harrods is an amazing shopping place, specially if you can afford it and you are living a luxurious life style.
You would love to see this attraction especially when you are in London and nearby.
I love this building as its is so attractive! And inside the building you will have such an amazing, luxurious, brilliant experience. You can t stop walking and watching inside the building. There are expensive but they have all sort of brands.
I love their restaurant and their food. Every department separated in a delicious and delicate manner, simulating an old merchant. You need to have half of day in order to explore Harrods from inside properly.

The food market in ground level is absolutely amazing and one of a kind. Not only is there amazing freshly prepared delicatessen from all around the world, the design of the place is also fantastic. If you plan a pick-nick or you just are in the neighborhood and feeling a bit hungry, -you can always go there and something fresh and tasty. You will find something for everyone, and it tastes delicious!

Harrods is an amazing place to go,l and whenever I visit this place I alway had a leisurely stroll through lots of the departments. It is truly beautiful decor, especially the Egyptian escalator area is simply awesome. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. You need lots of money but you dont have to buy if you want too anything or if you cant afford anything but you wont refer your visit.

Amazing shopping haven. Spent more than 4 hours here. Found a pen that I was looking since 3 years ago. Had lunch at the dining hall, which was packed to the brim.

I loved walking through and exploring all the different designers. I am a lover of jewelry and purses so this was my own personal Disneyland. I bought so many macaroons and I loved every single one. The grocery section is amazing as well. I can t wait to go back!

Their cosmetics assortment is upscale, they are well furnished in test samples.

Visited Harrods over the years. Very clinical and streamlined now. I prefered the old layout in general.

Have fun looking for a restroom. Well hidden. Even one of employee had to ask.

Always professional staff. You might be paying a premium but you get the service and are served in the most luxurious of surroundings. The Harrods card point system is great if you shop there regularly. Their food hall has items which cannot be found anywhere else and of the highest standard. The Christmas Grotto is really fun for children. There are also many restaurants to eat well.

The food halls are amazing. Do check them out, especially if you love chocolates.

Though known for luxury items, some items and food are affordable. You can buy chocolates by piece instead of a whole box.

I recommend the Harrods in store baklava. Best you'll ever eat.

What else can one comments about Harrods?

Absolutely out of this world for most people. My favourite is the food hall and all the eateries, especially the rotisserie and the oyster bar.

This is very true from someone who once said you can purchase anything from a needle to an elephant in Harrods. So there you go, you can buy anything that takes your fancy and will definitely find it in this store.

It's Harrods! What else to say? Aside from making me feel completely financially inadequate, it is the most amazing place. We stopped in to pick up lunch for a picnic and had a wonderful time perusing all the things I could never afford.

What an amazing place. So much to see. Such variety. And also so many high end products under one roof.. Never seen anything like this. A must see. Only marked it down to 4 stars because things are just so pricy. Definitely not targeting the commoner

I popped in to pick up a present and I have to say that I experienced the BEST customer service I have ever encountered. In fact, that is an understatement!! Harrods are always good with their customer service (however some people can be dour and efficient which isn't really inspiring) but this assistant was particularly wonderful. Helpful, beautifully polite (but not obsequious), charming, handsome (let's be honest, that's always a plus point) and knowledgeable as he escorted me to the sections I needed too. I really feel he deserves more than 5 stars. Well done Harrods for employing this superstar!!!

Very large store to suit many budgets. Great collection of designer labels and stands. Lots of staff, very kind, helpful and attentive. Different from any other department store there is. Cannot be beat. Amazing toy department for the little ones. Highly recommend a visit here

It's Harrods what else can you say. The inside is filled with glamour and exquisite high value brands. The outside, which was my favorite part, was beautifully lit up for the holidays. Oh, and the Christmas windows were just adorable.

For the wealthy wallets. I have not found a cheap item, but I was too busy looking everywhere at the same time to find something.

Super busy when we were there, really hard to shop. The place is like a rabbit Warren so make sure you get a floor plan before you go in. No phone signal for me inside so no opertunity to get one while I was there.

That being said, you can get all sorts here from cheese and meat to disigner togs and some snazzy novelty items.

My family and I went to Harrods while visiting London and were blown away by the service and heart of a gentleman named Walter. Walter works in the children s toy area and assisted my son in finding a collector stuffed animal. When my son asked Walter for help in picking out a toy that the little guy had spent months saving this money for, Walter went in the back of the store and found the 3rd of 2000 collectibles made for a particular Steiff stuffy, which made my son s day and trip. And Walter s enthusiasm and joy made the experience even that more special. While we were waiting in the tax line on the 3rd floor (due to his recommendation), Walter came back to give both kids (we have a daughter too), umbrellas and colored pencils. Talk about customer service. We will be back again for sure. Best retail experience ever!!

This is for their on-line shopping experience during the pandemic. We ordered one item and received another one with the wrong colour. I already called the customer service team SIX times and still could not get the returning label, this is ridiculous, I do not know what their staff was doing at all.

Famous, large, worth a visit. Go outside of tourist daytime peak times and you will enjoy the experience so much more.

It's a must see fire when you come to london. It's huge, literally sells anything you can imagine, but obviously with a high price tag. If you're looking for a very luxurious shopping experience, your should definitely come here. Lots of floors and places to see here, but be careful as it will be crowded.
