Very famous landmark, amazing food hall & definitely worth a visit. I would have given it 5 star if they had some proper direction signs, you can get lost easily :)

It s a cliche but a must visit. Summer is crazy and crowds are heavy. But their food hall remains the gold standard. The seafood bar is everything a foodie needs - platters of fresh oysters with bubbles or a sneaky cocktail. You can go out your name down and wait for it and the other counters now, but always worth it.

How could I not give 5 stars! It s Harrods. I mean the reams and reams of people let it down a tad and the maze of departments is dizzying but it s a beautiful store.

I went to test a perfume I bought online but wanted to be sure of the scent again so I went to the perfume section and L Artisan Parfumeur was no where to be found. In fact 3 sales clerks had to help me find it.

It was buried deep in the back of the men s and homeware section on the 2nd floor amongst the candles (if anyone wants to know) It was almost blasphemy! This stunning brand hidden, lost, forgotten! I felt sad for it for a moment, until I spritzed and quickly realised I was late for afternoon tea! I m sure I ll be back when Christmas is out.

I went into the historic store for information about Frederick Malle, the assistant was very helpful in advising me the particular range I wanted was not in stock until late October 19, however she wrote the name of the product as there are many to choose from on a scented piece of paper so I couldn't forget the name when I returned to the store or to purchase elsewhere.
I must also add the security team do an outstanding job.

Harrods is one of those places you think exist only on television. It s ostentatious. Think of something that you use in your daily life. Now, add jewels to it. Odds are, Harrods has it. It was interesting to walk around see things, but nobody actually needs any of it.

You can tell who the tourists are and the people actually shopping are. It s an interesting mix.

1.1mm square feet of retail shopping space. A definite visit especially during the holiday season. The employees are friendly and warm. Check out the gift shop on the lower ground floor. Don't forget to get your annual Christmas bauble. They also process VAT refunds on the third floor if you're in from out of town. You can cash out at the store, or you can take your processed tax receipt to the airport and get your refund there. You will need to take the receipt to customs either way, so you might as well process it at the airport on your way out. I went during the daytime to avoid the crowds (though there are always crowds) but if you don't mind the rush then go at night, it is much prettier.

Hands down the best in the world! It s one of its kind. Be it gorging on desserts or shopping or dining, its an experience you d cherish!

Very nice store take plenty of money as items on sale are very expensive. I had the pleasure of installing graphics in the designer floor.

Absolutely incredible experience. Not only a London tradition, but cutting edge fashion, delectable food, sights, and sounds of a truly unbelievable experience. I know it s a strange way to describe a department store, but you must understand, Harrod s is an experience, and not just a place. Fantastic visit.
I even saw the counter where Syd Barrett would buy his chocolates, in later years when he was at his most reclusive.

Harrods is our favourite department store in London, they've got an amazing range all in one shop, the children's clothes department is amazing here, they have a brilliant range of clothes for children! There's lots of good places to eat here as well. There's plenty of lifts to get to different levels too. The only downside I can think of is not all areas are pram friendly sometimes I have to lift our pram up or down a few steps, especially when some of the departments are having refurbishment works. But overall amazing place.

Very disappointed that the ice cream parlour has been replaced by a dessert bar. Could not get the ice cream shakes we used to get

Expensive, but worth the experience of window shopping amongst the best know brands in the world all are found here
The best part was the patessarie section and the well decorated cakes and pastries displayed here.
Must try different stuff which you won't experience anywhere else.

What's not to like? World famous and filled with luxuries.
The food hall is worth a look too, especially at Christmas when you can buy someone a little souvenir or luxury biscuit tin.

Amazing place, loads of staff, beautiful products, vast array of selection, everyone must visit once to see this British institution

Showed my friend from America the lovely London sights. Harrod's is jaw dropping as always and was thoroughly enjoyed. Had we not have already eaten, we would have definitely enjoyed the beautiful sweet treats. We found the estate section particularly interesting, as per the photo. Most staff were friendly, some couldn't care less. But, I suppose they're used to tourists wasting their time.

I recently ordered 2 items from here. One item i was told days after I had purchased for a birthday present was no longer available and I will get my money back "soon", the other item when it eventually arrived looked so shabby I had to clean it before a gave it so the recipient didn't think it was used. Very poor service, disappointing from this wonderful institution.

Afternoon tea was fantastic. Store is a shoppers paradise

I had two items to look at and try, one card holder and the other a cc-serum. The ladies at both counters (Alexander McQueen & By Terry) were very helpful and attentive and I ended up making purchases. My experience as a whole at Harrods was lovely (as always)!

Sadly, the once magnificent offerings in the food halls are greatly reduced and replaced with mainly mainstream wares. :-(

Definitely a place to see. High end brands, loads of perfume. They have got a little organic market with a food hall with various of drinks and snacks.

I have been shopping in Harrods for 40 years, my mother before for 60 years and the store had always been impeccable. Sadly by yesterday's visit that has all changed and it was genuinely from floor 1 up like a discount retailer crossed with a rural department store. Bring back Mr Al Fayed. So sad....

Lots of people with very insulated lives may not be aware, or even care that most of the products are available in other outlets at about a third of the price. One advantage in purchasing items at this store, you get a Harrods carrier bag. Says much more walking up the road than if you have a TK Maxx bag instead.

Huge store with high quality or very expensive items. Very clean and very well organized with very helpful staff. Many little coffee and tea shops where you can sit and sip and also have a pastry. The tea room upstairs is beautiful and should be visited at least once.

Love this shop. Everything is so lovely and nice.....and expensive. I wanted to buy something but just couldn't afford it

Don t know if you know, but harrods started as tea shop, so food court is highly recommend! Great thing that you should keep in mind that this place is 100% trusted when you buy a high quality tea. Enjoy

Enormous place to visit, but it is really worth it if you're not scared about spending a LOT of money because it's a beautiful luxury store...

Beautiful building, huge layout. Expensive toys for the rich. Food mall great but unless buying a meal from one of the actual restaurants there is no where to sit and eat. Bought some great food and then ended up leaving and returning to our hotel to eat. A small seated eating area would have been nice.

Shopping in Harrods always makes me feel like a child in a sweet shop. Sadly my recent visit left me with a bitter taste. What has happened to the legendary service? The staff at the Dior Back Stage beauty section were so unenthusiastic and switched off, I wondered why they bothered turning up. Have not experienced such poor service in such a long time, hopefully this was an isolated incident.

Review based on food hall and all of it's fine eats and treats, namely the meaty sandwich stand in the corner and the solid salad stand in the middle bit. Quite nice overall although very few places to sit so ended up outside of side entrance located on pedestrian strip where benches are available.

Even if you don't want to shop visiting Harrods you're getting the spirit of shopping.

Lots of stuff and a variety of stores but everything is very overpriced. You only buy something from here to be able to say you did.

I always love visiting Harrods. It does get really busy and can be a bit confusing getting around if you have never been there before. So much to see. The jewelry section is AMAZING. A must see when in London.

This place is like a landmark, a must-visit for shoppers. Visiting the store is like being transported back to the time when department stores are not as many as today and not as spacious as most department stores are (at least compared to those in my country). It sells luxurious goods so sightseeing is enough for me (read: the only thing I could do, ha-ha). The place is quite like a maze, so be wary to those who have weak legs. But then again, you can always take a rest at the food and dining section. That is if you don't mind the price.

Love love LOVE Harrods! So many floors and shops to explore! So many fancy foods and exclusives! I could be here for hours and not get bored! It is quite pricey though, so be prepared. Otherwise, enjoy the wonders of Harrods!

It's a place to see. Mostly rude people pushing you out of their way because they think they are special or they have money. Catering to those people means there is a trade off!

Awesome place to buy in the heart of London. From cheap to expensive,from a needle to a Louis Vuitton bag of famous designer clothes. Everything you need,or don t need! Excellent selection. Amazing food hall. Can t simply name one thing. A unique experience

I like when they change the setup every time its kind of a adventure on its own and the people were offering a map to me and i said i know the setup boy was i wrong but still really happy to get Lost in this Place....

I took my niece just because she'd never been. I found the decor incredibly dark. Not to my taste. Busy and a total tourist trap. And you guessed it. She loved it. I had to drag her out of the enormous make up department.

Epic food hall. Not cheap but worth every penny as a treat when your visiting London

You'll get lost..stick to the middle..you'll be fine..but you'll miss out on seeing things you never knew you wanted or desperately needed!! Go get a coffee on the lower floors , it's more peaceful. Go early and leave late..you'll need a whole day here.

Simply fabulous. I try to visit any time I am in London. Everything is displayed with good taste and the staff is always helpful. The food halls are a treat to see and I try to have an expensive lunch there. The annual after Christmas sale has eeal values. Great stuff.

Ok, Harrods it's Harrods but where is the British atmosphere? A bit of Disneyland a bit duty free of a huge airport, a bit claustrophobic labirint. Gives his best in Christmas time

The shopping place to see when you are in London. good clothes, jewellery, toys, food, perfumes.... Quite expansive by nature since we talk about luxury.

We had an average experience. My wife, myself and our 2 young boys were riding the lift to the lower level to continue shopping. Then the lift doors opened, a female worker was standing there with 3 ladies. We were told "we need this lift, you will need to exit". 1 of the 3 additional ladies (customers I am assuming) kept saying "I don't mind." She looked at us and said it will be right back down. You see, we were traveling down. This group then had to go all the way down before going up. So as we stood there. The lift returned to the floor in which we were asked to exit. The doors opened and there stood the woman, the 3 ladies...and now other guests. I simply stated that it was odd that "other" guests were able to ride with them. She proceeded to roll her eyes (in an all mirror lift) and pushed the close door button. We decided we were done spending our money in a store that has employees like yours. This store taught my children that other people mean more than they do? That it is ok to just demand people to leave a space if you dont want to ride with them? Whatever the lesson...it was not good. I am a travel agent. I hope to send many clients this way from the States...now I will be sure to tell them to avoid Harrods.

A unique and very department store in the heart of London. This store is worth a trip just to look around. Some of the high and items are absolutely incredible, and it is a glimpse into a different world for most of us. The food court area in the basement is fabulous to look at and to sample.

Very iconic Luxury department store. It's worth a visit as their food court is interesting (but very busy always) and if you are looking to buy some products (e.g. luxury hand bags) at retail price they have inventory. Join their rewards program as you get perks. Also for foreign visitors, they have a nice section in store to handle VAT refund paperwork.
