Large room, view of the mountains and the hot spring pools. There is also a pool side bar for drinks. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Spa is great. Very classy. Chloe (the English girl) is the best.
the hotel has 3 sections, the old section has no tv, but theres radio. the middle, and the most recent. there are 3 pools an indoor hot and outdoor pools of varying degrees of temperature.
the mineral baths are soooo relaxing. somewhat sulfurous oder, but the relaxation from all the mineral salts naturally leads to pain relief and good sleep. the balconies are good for a smoke before dinner.
the food tends toward an alpine german diet. lots of meat (i'm vegetarian) but they have usually got one dish i can eat.
its an old world atmosphere in a nice little town with a lake. hills and mountains around.i love sleeping with the sliding door open, fresh air and sun rises late.
a great old hotel,in a stunningly beautiful area.
Great resort but they need to step it up when it comes to keeping the hotel clean.
Stayed in during Aug 2014. Over priced for what you get. The only nice rooms are in the East Tower. The rest are more 3 star equivalents. The Breakfast Buffet is worth the money. Don't bother dinning in. There are better quality restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Burgers pool side are 12$ for a very basic burger.
My wife and I have been coming here for 14 years, there is definitely a slow decline in quality over the years. This is possibly due to overseas - Asian owners, who took over a few years ago.
Still nice, but not what is used to be. The star of the show is the lake and the hot pools.
Very nice place
The hotel is pretty and clean, the room was very spacious and the pools are amazing.
we were for one night in March. the view and spa were great. The rooms are old but clean, although the updating facilities seem necessary. The check in is 4pm and check out 11 am, it would be great if you PAY less.My main concern is: I RECEIVED BILL 340$ BUT MY VISA HAVE BEEN CHURCHED 385$????. I am following up by visa company.
Beautiful scenery; facilities could use an upgrade. Temperate climate; hot springs.
Not bad, breakfast was not included which was weird, they charge 23$ for every breakfast per person which I find it expensive for just a breakfast
Other things not bad
Quite underwhelmed by the stay. Great location and good access to outside amenities. Stayed for one night during the week, but disappointed by the overall quality/service for the price paid.
Was kindly greeted by a suited gentleman at the entry way, who unfortunately wasn't wearing a mask. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly which didn't help offset the chaos of the filming set up. Film crew took over entire front entrance and lobby area, awkwardly had to walk through a crew of 40+ people in wet robes after time in the pools. We were told the film crew had been on site for a couple weeks - would have really appreciated a heads up or perhaps an adjusted rate for the inconvenience.
Nice gateway for a couple days holiday and it's just 1.5 hrs drive from Vancouver. Especially recommended in the winter!
Way overpriced. Rooms are old and tired. Curtains are ripped. For the price we paid, expected way more
Great place. Pools are amazing. Only problem, is the indoor "quiet" pool was full of screaming kids.
Very friendly and warm place to go warm your bones. The spa is a bit pricey
My husband and I spent three days at this resort over Christmas. The five course meal in the Copper Room on Christmas Day was delicious and well presented. The resort is dog friendly and truly felt that way, with staff and guests being delighted to meet our dog. Shout out to Brandee from housekeeping for being so awesome :) the hot spring pools themselves were relaxing and clean. Rooms are outdated and need upgrades. Nice trails nearby and steps away from Harrison Lake.
Rooms 4/10
Food 7/10
Service and staff 8/10
Hot spring pools 8/10
Location and scenery 8/10
Was a last minute idea to overnight for a wedding. Great rooms and nice view in the morning. Will be back soon I hope.
Its okay because the pools are like healing water and the rooms are nice and simple but we found a bug in the bed with the baby and they did not charge us for that night and also gave us a 4ppl night at the hotel for free which would have been $700 in total that we saved
We stayed in the heritage building. The resort is nice but it is outdated and could use some upgrades. The building we were in was not soundproof at all, and had a window facing the pools, with the nice waterfall sound all night.... but we were woken by kids playing in it at 6:45 AM so we had to close our window...
Very relaxing, with hot springs and beautiful outside scenery
We had a good stay but I would say I was a little disapointed. For the breakfast, there are minimal options for dairy free, and I had to hunt down an employee to get cultery and tea. The hot springs were full of chlorine and really dried out my skin. I was suprised they were so heavily chlorinated, as any other hot spring I have been to was more natural and left my skin soft. I would go again, but definitely will bring lotion next time.
You have to go. I can't even begin to speak how amaZing our expedience was.
Love the place. So beautiful scenes, love the water..
Great place for vacation. Out door pool is awesome.
Beautiful setting with older style accommodations that are in need of a refresh.
When booking a room here in the summer do not book in the main building. Its 36 degrees outside and there is no air conditioning. They give you a small fan which doesn't help. The rooms are very small. For the money you pay you would expect more. The hot pools are nice the beach is nice.
Excellent breakfast buffet. Walk outside to get to beach.
We stopped at Harrison Hot Springs for a quick dip in the mineral pools. The hotel and facilities were nice and the hot springs we're refreshing. Our only complaint was we couldn't just pay for access to the pools and had to rent a room for the afternoon for around 120 CDN. Its good for up to 4 people but since we were just two it felt a little overpriced.
Horrible and unpleasant customer service!!! I arrived at hotel last week before 2:30pm and there was a long line in front of the front desk for pre-check in. I waited around 40mins to pre-checked in and the room was not ready.
Check-in time is 4:00 so that It was understandable to wait till 4pm.
I expected the room would ready before 4. I went to customer service 3:55 to ask if my room was ready. The customer service clerk told me to wait until the agent called me.
Since I still did not receive any phone call at 4:05, I went to customer service again. I asked to the clerk and I tried to say the room is supposed to be ready before 4pm. however, the clerk kept cutting me off and told me to wait because the resort was so busy. I believe that rooms are supposed to be ready before check-in time. As well, she should assign me other room. I visit Harrison hot spring resort almost every year and had great experience but not this time. I was there with 2kids and they were so tired and exhausted to wait. Finally I received the call from the customer service at 4:24 and got the room key at 4:30 and offered me free parking.
The most upsetting thing was the clerk did not say sorry at the first time and never asked to be excused.
Could have been cleaner. The patio was full of cobwebs and dust.
Always an amazing time here at Harrison Resort . Got upgraded for free because our room wasn't ready. Friendly staff and accommodation for adults only at the pools.
We stayed in the East tower. Loved the room. Loved the Copper room for dinner and dancing. We had lamb and very veal osso bucco... So good (especially the osso bucco). Great service, as always. It's a great evening to dine and dance (mostly watching others dance). Maybe watch a couple YouTube videos of simple ballroom steps and practice with your lady before you go, as many of the dancers are fantastic and make you feel self conscious to get on the floor (do it anyways). The pools are a main draw, and we adore them, but it seems like every time we go they get more and more chlorine. Figure out a better system, guys. They are really losing that hot springs feel and you just feel like you are soaking an a big hot tub with you eyes burning from the chemicals. Maybe start using saline? Everything is great at the resort besides the chlorine thing.
Hotel was clean and as expected. Staffs were helpful.
Lovely place, the pools close until late, the service is wonderful and the breakfast food as well
Harrison reached out to me to see how they could rectify my stay and explained the issues. Their online staff had a quick response time and worked with me to ensure I would give them another try! Do to this I changed my review and now look forward to giving the hotel a second chance.
I was recently at this hotel for a wedding and although the scene is picturesque I would not recommend for the price and overall experience. Do a night to say you did it but not worth the get away.
Pro's
*Great photo opportunities
* There are multiple pools so you will not feel crowded
*Bathrooms are large
*Rooms are non smoking
*Beds are comfy with lots of pillows
*Close to town if hungry
*You can walk through the hotel in your bathrobe (everyone is doing it)
Con's
*Hotel is understaffed causing delays in check ins/check outs. When checking in we did not receive a quick run down. When checking out we stood in line and eventually approached another member about express check out so we could leave.
Restaurant has limited servers and although nice their service is slow.
*This $200/night room and we had fruit flies. There solution was to have someone vacuum them instead of offering a new room or discount. This got rid of some but not all. Other people commented they had fruit flies and were told its just that time of year.
*During the wedding their was a 40% chance of rain/no clouds in the sky and we were encouraged to move the wedding inside. It ended up not raining once so I really believe this was due to the staffing issue. During the dinner the staff only came to really deliver food and most of the party kept going to the bar to get drinks instead.
A nice place to relax ... but the pool with a lot of chlorine ..
The room was kinda small tbh ... but amazing hot springs at night and gotta love the boardwalk view with the infinite chains of mountains
Honestly, the pools are nice. That's about it. The resort was okay. The staff, no care to make our stay special. No attempt to remedy issues or offer any kind of alternative. Forced to check in late to the room. Wouldn't give us late check out. No offer for discount or coupon for the inconvenience. Room for 4 people, only 2 towels and 0 robes. Staff tried to enter our room in the morning at 7am. And now it seems people are getting a huge rash because the pools are infected and are given the same terrible service we received. The only reason people are visiting is because of the spring.. and you've closed it.. and are telling people tough luck, go to the stupid public pool downtown. I doubt anyone would drive 2 hours to use a public pool. Get it together Harrison.
Indoor pool not open or the spa but did enjoy the warm outdoor pool.
Great service, easy check in, and loved the hot springs as usual. However, an underground parking lot would have been great in the winter.
Relaxing and enjoyable, having an adult only hot tub makes it even better.
Great to visit in the winter, we love sitting in the beautiful hot spring pools.
Great getaway, unfortunately a little bit overpriced for the quality of the hotel but overall a good experience.
I really wanted to like this place. My partner and I came here for a well deserved vacation after working the front lines in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. There were many good aspects of our stay, unrelated to the resort, but the resort itself was atrocious and more so how they've handled this situation.
We spent our first two nights continually waking up, itchy. We chalked it up to mosquitos and didn't worry about it too much until the last morning. We woke up with a ton of bites that morning, blood spotting all over the sheets and bug feces smearing over the bed. We pulled the bed apart and found a live bug and massive hole in the mattress. We complained to the front desk and they offered us $50 off. I told them it was unacceptable and after an hour of back and forth we finally were able to speak with a manager. Harrison sent in "their contractor's" after they sent housekeeping in to clean the room for a few hours and miraculously found none of the evidence we took photos and videos of.
My partner developed a nasty infection from the bites and had it confirmed by his physician that the bites are conducive with bedbug bites.
The day of our initial complaint, I requested a formal report of the inspection and never received it until yesterday when I followed up for the 7th time.
As of today 10/02/20 the resort still refuses to give us a refund, their room division manager, Ericson, stating "Kindly be informed that there will be no adjustment will be process" (sic)
If you want to be treated to a nice vacation, in a clean environment, where you will be treated with respect and professionalism then go anywhere other than here.
*Edit* the refund for one night was only given after I suggested posting a review about the situation. Despite having a live bed bug, a physicians confirmation and numerous photos and videos Harrison still refuses to refund the remainder of our stay. We have been met with hostility and a narcissistic attitude from the rooms manager, whom sees no issue in the way this has been handled (two months later). Save yourself the grief and go to the spas a couple hours away.
The hot spring was very good but the room was old and outdated. The wait to check in was over 50 minutes. The location was great but the paid parking was too far. We loved the dinner buffet but not the breakfast.
an unpleasant experience. It was my first time to visit here, and it said we could check in after 4pm, but we had to wait for two hours in the hobby for our room, the receptionist said she would call us when the room was ready, it turned out that she forgot it at all and we had to ask for it after two hours later, I know they are busy but since you have say it, it's better to remember your words. the room was on the 4th floor it's too hot to sleep at night, one room have to open four fans at same time for cooler, only good thing was when I woke up the beautiful scene outside the window. And the pool ......... I will not come back again.
Amazing
Love the slow relaxed pace. Got the New Years package. Not disappointed In the slightest.
Looks like it wasn't updated for many years. But thepools were very refreshing and perfect temperatures. Also, the views and the fresh air were amazing.
Nice place to relax, a variety of pools inside and out with different temperatures.
3/5 stars because, although it is the premium place to stay in Harrison Hot Springs, it is in desperate need of a dramatic renovation. Particularly, making it easier to get from the back parking lot (no disabled parking back there!!!!!!!!) to the front desk. Also, they seriously need to update & Improve the signage within the hotel. We lost count of how many people got lost & asked us for help (we even got lost in there when we tried to find our suite!). For what we paid, & for the reputation of the resort, we were left disappointed. Though the pools & breakfast buffet were great, the resort reminds me of that song 'Black Cars' (look better in the shade). An updating Reno (make it easier to find your way through out the resort & repair the dings & scratches etc).As for accessibility, they have quite a ways to go... Doubt we'd return to the resort.
Been to Harrison Resort several times and it is always a relaxing time
Terrible customer service.
Friends wedding was hosted here, I was part of the wedding party. I arrived the night before the wedding late in the evening, being informed that where I parked was acceptable, gave licence plate number. Next day I received parking ticket, spoke with front desk and they took a copy of ticket, my name and number. Was informed that the manager would deal with it, if there was an issue I would receive a phone call.
3 months later, I received a letter in the mail that the ticket was going to collections. I called the hotel numerous times and after getting a run around by Tabatha Swanson (Manager) and staff and never receiving a phone call back or having them take any responsibility, I ended up paying the ticket that had been escalated in price. If I was told in the first place that they were not going to do anything I would have just paid the ticket and have been the end of it. However the poor management and terrible customer service was very disappointing, ending in a collection letter.
Completely avoidable if proper communication was provided.
It is much more expensive than before. The steam room is in the bathroom of the indoor spa building.
Truly a gem, right in Vancouver's backyard... And this shows :-( The resort is frequently booked completely full, and getting there on a Friday after work *will* tax your patience. But the soothing pools, and perhaps a supper-club-style dinner with live music at the Copper Room will relax and rejuvenate you. It's family friendly. Parking is a bit of hassle (outdoor, long walk). Nonetheless, it is a 5-star gem where you can let go of all your worries.
Nice place but expected a little bit more.
Surroundings nice
Obviously it's a resort so many things are overpriced but it sure feels like a getaway, even though you're only 2 hrs away from Vancouver. Spa is very relaxing, hot springs are best in the morning and late I'm the evening for traffic.
Overall good relaxing experience, pools were enjoyable (wish the "quiet" pool was actually quiet). Rooms were outdated but in good condition. Good weekend getaway.
Always a great getaway....feels like a real vacation without the distance....its old but well taken care of
Went for a conference and the food was amazing. The wing I was in was older and some of the basics like warped doors and creaky hinges hadn't been seen to in a while, meaning I'd wake up everyone in the suite whenever using the bathroom when the doors would stick and then creak. That being said, housekeeping service was awesome and I'd drive up there for the food alone.
It was a lovely service but they could have provided sandals for us to use. They could have had more lockers and locks, bathrooms, changerooms, and toilets.
Had a great night but guest services were extremely rude the next morning. Called to ask about a continental breakfast (they do not have one) and was told "no" and hung up. Im quite inhappy with my overall experience considering cost... windows are seal failed and need repair (so much for the view) .... don't recommend it.
Indoor and outdoor relaxing hot springs pools with a 3 stars hotel level customer service!
Great place to relax. Pizza place is the place to eat
Ate a good three course meal with 3 others. Total bill including tip...$150.
Beautiful place for a perfect getaway. Resort's hot spring is great but the rooms could use some renovation.
Beautiful place although they do not let you have a pool pass if they are busy
