This is my favorite Harris Teeter! I worked there years ago, so I know how old the store is. Very well maintained and modern. Huge selection of food, if they don't have what you want; just let customer service know and they will do the best to get it. They may have to go buy it from another store, but that's the customer service you get!

Hands down my favorite grocery store anywhere. This location has more to offer than any HT in the Carolinas. Great customer service and always has plenty of lines open to handle the large crowds.

Non organic red/green leaf lettuce is $2.29? Also every head of lettuce is half the size of food lions. I go to food lion specifically for this reason. Annoying to have to go elsewhere for one thing.

Not all HT's are created equal. This is like a flagship. Super knowledgeable and helpful staff. Deli, meat and fish depts are outstanding. Great weekly meal specials. Their subs for your lunch are killer.!!
The only negative would be the organic section. It's lacking selection, quantity as well as variety.

Please stop propping your carts on our cars during driveup grocery pickup. We dont appreciate the scratches. The woman working today at 3:30 pm did it and when I brought it to her attention she said "oh it was on the bumper!" I dont care where it was! Dont do it!

I love this store. Great selection and they've added nice pick up dinners; Wednesday, lobster, corn & baked potato, Thursday prime rib, Friday crab cakes. I'm fussy about my crab cakes and these are good.

I just moved over to this side of town from Steel Creek. Tonight was my first time shopping here. I do most my shopping after work, honestly exhausted, which is always In the wee hours. Stocking time. (Great for me!) My normal Harris Teeter peeps know I don't self check out. First time there, was absolutely no problem, and never a problem for that matter. As I said, I go when I get out of work. I'm not coming In, spending my money, and then doing someone else's job. Of course all the check outs are shut down, which Is normal. I tell the woman sitting at self checkout "Hello, I'd like to check out" and of course points to self check out. I explain, "Maim, I dont work here, I don't do self check". After pointing a couple more times, she finally got up and checked me out. I'm not going to assume why she was so reluctant, you never know. But I just worked 11 hours...I'm tired, so was a little put off. Hoping for a more friendly experience next time.

This is the best Harris Teeter in town

This is the best Harris Teeter in town

So much variety, not as expensive as Queens road, has a separate dining area inside

Plenty options for Food to eat on the spot

So many bread options to choose from and they have tasters too

Best part for the last: They have a Fresh Fruit Department and you can get anything !

This was my 11th visit and I am gonna be back !

We have shopped at this store since we moved here, nearly 20 years ago. The Pharmacy, particularly, is professional and helpful. Also, the fresh vegetable section is well stocked and maintained.

The only problem we have is that we find it difficult to shop there, given that my arthritis makes it difficult to get around; I cannot stand or walk very long, and depend on the electric carts. They have 4 carts, 2 of which are in good shape; one has problems with the drive thingee; and one is old, slow, hard to steer, and dangerous anywhere near the wine section.

This store is very near several assisted living facilities, and so, many of their customers have problems similar to mine. We increasingly find that all the carts are in use when we arrive. Today, there were no available carts. Using the shopping cart as a walker, I got half way to the Pharmacy before my knees utterly collapsed in pain. The Pharmacy was very helpful, and notified the front desk that they should snag the first available cart, and bring it by.

Given the location of this store, it should invest in at least one more cart.

Do not shop here...first of all, not cheap compared to higher end stores and secondly things that are on on special are no longer on the shelves a vast majority of the time. But most importantly, they pride themselves on customer service. If you actually need customer service, it s non existent. I m in the store spending money which I frequently did and a cashier starting speaking to me very inappropriately and I told him I didn t want to talk with him any more. He laughed in my face and made fun of me. I told the manager I was upset and he said that should never happen. That I already knew. I told him I would never return and he silently accepted that. His inaction and lack of concern had me contact the corporate office. Got a standard response that I would be contacted and never received the promised follow up. So this is superior customer service? You can mind your own business, spend money and be made fun of in the store by an employee and they re ok with that at both a store and corporate level. Even though it s walking distance from my house I will never return to this Harris Teeter or any other due their rudeness from the employee, lack of action from manager, and lack of response from corporate. Publix, Earth Fare, Trader Joes and Whole Foods it is...

My favorite Harris Teeter location. Being the flagship, they're more consistant with keeping things stocked properly and tend to have more experienced personnel staffing the various specialty departments. Love all the Teeters but for me this ones the best.

I love shopping at HT, prices are not the cheapest but a lot of great sales items make up for that. The high quality and diversity of products available make me keep going back. I can get my prescriptions filled while I shop. Great wine and high end beer selections, full deli, artesian baked breads, fresh made and made to order sushi and sashimi, Large salad bar, Antipasto bar, three hot food areas, fresh seafood, even an aged beef cabinet. A Star bucks is inside the one that I go to. I needed saffron once and they did not have it. I mentioned it to the cashier and the next week it was on the shelf.
I don't own stock or anything, actually I am visiting Charlotte for a while from Wisconsin and love the convenience of being able to get every thing in one stop.
