Harrah's Laughlin Hotel and Casino Reviews

The staff works very hard to give the customers a great experience. The staff keeps all areas of the casino and hotel clean and if there is a mess made somewhere they are quick very quick to start cleaning it. The smashburger they have is a little sub-par if you've ever eaten at a free standing location but for being in a casino is decent. Pin-up pizza is right next door to smashburger and it is phenomenal. The house keeping staff is amazing. They are very very very detail oriented. I could probably white glove inspect rooms at random and not find any dirt on any surface.

Its was my bday when i checked in, my was horrible from time I left NYC. I finally reach here and your employer Dylan ( front desk associate) spirit was so uplifting he turn my whole attitude around. I truly enjoy the rest off my night and my stay here. I truly appreciate him. I will definitely return. Employer of the month should be Dylan. His customer service is amazing not just me, to everyone he came in contact with.

Always a great place to visit short stop or overbite and also weekends.

Old school casino. Not a huge property but some nice amenities. Guy Fieris is the place to eat here. Buffet is decent also. Lots of parking. The property itself is dated, the slots pay well, the beach and pool are nice and the customer service is great. Very friendly employees. All of em. I'd fly here again given the chance.

Hotel staff was very rude. Was standing in line to get a replacement player's club card, because it is $3 more to go to the buffet without it. I was holding my 1 year old daughter. We were at least 25 feet away from the slot machines, but a rude worker ran up and started literally screaming that I couldn't be there with my daughter in a gaming area. Will never stay there again.

Old furniture and rooms, thight slots machines, you have to deposit $ 75 per night so that the internet works properly (deposit for "incidents", which is returned 5 days after check out) and is not very fast, the hotel far from the center

Such a beautiful experience. Would definitely go back.Ultimate resort in the desert, bring family. Gambling ,nature tours of grand Grand Canyon. Swim in Colorado River, or hotels pools.Not just gambling here.

Could not believe how long l had to wait for the elevator for my room .will not stay here again if I have to stay in tower three

Worse experience ever. First time there was in room 30501 and in the middle of the night, I woke up to bed bug bites. Went to the restroom and there it was another bug, huge one. Went down stairs filed a report. They changed me rooms and in the second room not only did I get bit again but my son who is 18months too, my daughter and sister. Spoke to the supervisor and said that they had inspected the room and there were no bed bugs. Any one who is smart will know that bed bugs hide during the day. I just love it how they quickly have an answer and resolve nothing, but when it comes to fees and charges they act so quickly on it.

I didn't care for our room. We had a room with two full size beds and a river view. The river view was awesome but our room was not. The room had poor lighting and it was very outdated. Trying to find places to plug in our electronic devices was difficult. Also, I didn't even know hotels still offered full size beds. The beds were small and the room was not very clean. We will skip the Harrah's hotel on our next Laughlin visit.

"dog friendly" but they charge you extra (3x our room price!) and don't have a place to leave your pet while you eat or gamble.

It was an ok location. Pillows were terrible and the shower curtain smelled like mildew, otherwise everything was fine..

What a surprise. I was expecting the same as Harrah's Vegas but what a difference. The place is very kid friendly and amazing.

Room was okay. Didn't know about a resort fee of $12. Other than that... Okay

When you make a reservation you should be able to get the room that you reserved the 1st day and not the 2nd day. I reserved a handicap room the one we're in now is handicapped but there's no bench in the shower there's no chair to sit on in the room no signed for maid service or room service whatever you wanna call it. Definitely not the best impression for the 1st time visiting. But I must say the food is definitely good.

Rooms weren't bad. Could be cleaner and a little.mote updated. Stay was still good. Nice employees.

A hotel that is getting old
It is cheap, you can see it. It started to renovate in autumn 2017.
Breakfast and WiFi costs extra.

First, we didn't appreciate the fact that we had to pay $15 extra for early check in or wait until 12:30 and check in at a kiosk instead of the registration desk like the diamond, platinum or comped guests got to do. That was in very bad taste of management. Second, the ice machine on our floor wasn't working and it beeped all night, which kept me up most of the first night. 3rd, when I reported this to the front desk, the lady taking my info seemed irritated that I said anything. The entire place is very impersonal now. We prefer to deal with people, not machines. I received texts from Ivy asking how things were, and she was helpful in getting us more pillows and blankets, but that didn't make up for the other disappointments. We waived housekeeping services and were supposed to get dining credit, but never got that either. We will be staying at the hotel that we normally stay at from now on.

So this day my mom was kind of greedy kind of rude I'm grateful for me going with her although when it was all said and done she called me and did thank me her brother is not in the best of places right now so our prayers will be with you Greg and Mom

I had a great stay here. The staff was always friendly and anxious to help. Lots of little fast food places to get hamburgers, ice cream, or even cinnabuns! My stay was during the week and the rates were extremely affordable. I will definitely stay there again.

Large casino with restaurants, pools, spa, beach area, small poker room, avoid table games

Not impressed with Harrah's. No coffee pot, TV was not much larger than a cereal box, outdated room, reserved a river view and city view and got a tour bus/air conditioning view. You could see the river if you looked at a touch angle. The Pool was not bad, but the pool deck needs to be cleaned severely. Just overall disappointed and wont be staying there again.

A very nice old "border town" casino and hotel. Nice to see that they have an entire non smoking wing with rooms, gambling, restaurant and bar. It's very reasonably priced and a great value. One thing that I saw that was out of the ordinary was natural light on the casino floor. Very nice

It is just OK. Problem is that they think they are in Vegas and wanted to charge for everything. $200 for shade on the beach? Cannot bring your own cooler down and the place is just gross. The worst part is the bad attitude bartenders at certain bars. No personality and just plain rude. We visited several other hotels along the beach , with better attitude and no "extra" fees .

Too many dogs and Guy Fierys was mediocre. Too bad. Could be really good

Clean with large rooms, a good gym and decent food.

I was very excited to stay here. When we arrived the check in was simple and the service was friendly and helpfu. I went to my room and was greatly disappointed at the lack of amenities. I didn't expect much; a brochure about the hotel and casino, a map, maybe at the most a coffee maker. No. I was told to go to Starbucks or Cinnabun. The wait for the elevator at one point in our 2 night 3 day stay, was 20 minutes! Thank goodness for the security guard who finally came and directed traffic. Penny machines were limited and the Atm fee was atrocious. I enjoyed Pin Ups Pizza. Best experience on the property. Awesome service from the manager and staff. I will not stay here again as I did not feel I got what I paid for. Beautiful, clean-and still not worth it.

It was a great property. Room was everything I'd hoped for, the restaurant was delicious but a little pricey, but the casino is tight. I went to the Golden Nugget to gamble and made up everything I had lost a Harrah's casino.

It wasn't what I expected, my we got two rooms, one was was a bit stinky the other the toilet was broken. We asked to get it fixed, never happened. They did refund 50 bucks off the bill but that's not why I came here. The hotel is a bit far from the strip and it's a bit secluded, try to stay by the strip, it's way better.

Great hospitality. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.

One of my favorite vacation hotels. Nice place. Right on the river, very nice atmosphere.

To my surprise that was quite dated the rooms were clean however Furniture is dated Windows definitely need to be cleaned you have a beautiful view through dirty windows a little disappointed as well in the amount of slot machines or lack thereof.

Love the Friday sea food and pick up a few bucks sometimes

We found roaches under the breakfast ham at the buffet. We were comped our breakfast and given free buffet coupons for a future meal. Gave them away on the way out. NO MASS!

Stayed here fire Fathers day. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. They have a decent arcade section and a private beach on the Colorado River. Smashburger amd cinnabon located on the 1st level along with a couple other food services. Overall, i was pretty pleased amd for the price you cant complain.

Had an upgraded double queen non-smoking room in the new south tower. The room is small, no place to sit an work at a laptop. The cable reception was horrid throughout the weekend, so the 49" TV upgrade wasn't worth the cost, and I was left with 1 small bottle of shampoo and no conditioner!! With no cleaning service during the 3-day stay.
For the price of the room, you would think these would be considered...
However, the shower and bedding was nice and lots of plugs and USB for charging, and air conditioner worked well to keep the room cool.
The private beach was so small and so packed, you couldn't enjoy it.
The only saving grace was Guy Fieri's...best Mexican food we have ever had since eating in Mexico!!! It was flavorful, portions were perfect and prices reasonable. Also ate at the Cafe twice and food was good, service excellent!

Poor check in only one person at desk. Back up quick service didn't know what she was doing. No coffee machine in room, had to pay $15 for internet in room ...That was in the fine print !!! Overall poor experience.

Extremely dirty! there was stains on the counter tops and couch. We asked for a non smoking room and the room smelled like smoke the entire stay. Will never be back

Hung out at the beach for the afternoon with some friends. We attempted to have a good time but with kids throwing wet sand around and the parents and staff completely ignoring it, we decided to leave after couple hours.

Their staff was exceptional. Their buffet was great.

Harrah's Laughlin is located at the far end of Casino Drive and is a distance from the rest of the casinos. It is a nice looking resort and has 2 pools and a beach. There are several dining choices (buffet, steak house, etc.) and an arcade for kids. Our room was located in tower 3, an incredibly long walk from the front desk. The room itself was a bit worn, and really could have used a deep clean. The dust behind all of the furniture was thick, the bathroom door was dirty and the once tan floor grout was black. Housekeeping "cleaned" our room but left no clean towels, no soap, no new drinking glasses. We tried calling the front desk for help but no-one answered and we gave up after 30 minutes. Luckily, a suppy closet was left unlocked and we got what we needed. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

The service here is much better than Las Vegas. it is not crowded and is nice that they have a beach on the river I do just wish the beach was open longer during the year.

The location as many say, is an old person Vegas. I have been to many Harrah's (Vegas, Laughlin, San Diego, New Orleans, etc) and this location falls short. The casino area is incredibly dark and is smothered in a cloud of cigarette smoke. Guy's restaurant is okay but as many other things in this resort, it is overpriced for what you're getting. When it comes to the rooms, it depends on where you are placed for how nice the decorations are but I have never experienced a room that was dirty so that's a positive. Overall, it is a decent resort but it could use a renovation.

Avoid like the plague. Rooms are higher priced than most other hotels in the area, parking is very inconvenient, restaurant prices are unbelievably high (meal for two in Mexican restaurant was over $76). No matter how many days you book for breakfast is only included for one day (one of several things in the fine print which we were told we should have read). Front desk staff was hostile and unhelpful when it came to resolving issues. First room we were assigned smelled so bad we had to ask for a change which was reluctantly given. This hotel while not dishonest is definitely deceptive and misleading in their come-on and advertising.
Don't take a gamble on this property you will be disapointed.

The beds were so hard I couldn't stay past two nights (they changed the mattress after the first night, but the replacement mattress was worse.) We love to come here and have always been pleased with our stay, but this time was not as usual.

Very convenient location, walking distance from many attractions and shopping center, cinemas etc, private acces to the river.

The only reason people come here is the cheap price to stay. Most rooms smell smoking, the room carpet is dusty stained here and there. The buffet cook, white beard grandpa, is really rude to asian tourists and only kind to locals. I would never come back here.

I love this casino. Best place on the strip. They ate currently renovating all sizes of rooms. Harrah always seems cleaner and more upscale to me.

To start with, the beach is very nice, until a rude employee told us to get off the beach because it's was closing. The bars were reasonable except for this one bartender I advise the younger people to stay away from. His name is Gary and his services are very unkind and unfit to be a bartender. The rooms are ok. They can do better job of cleaning them. We had just rented a room there and found a used condom wrapper behind the ice bucket. Very unsanitary. Guest services were nice when we called for extra pillows. We do suggest eating at the Guy Fierei resturant burrow boracho,the food there is wonderful. The pools are nice but when u get to the elevator to take it up or down from the casino to the pool, there is a nasty rotten egg sulfurish sewage smell in the building. This place was something wonderful not too long ago but over the years has gone down in fun and quality. I do not suggest staying here at all.

I got a suite upgrade from for $72 and I pointed out that on their website the suite was now only $72 but I still got charge for my regular room (around $20) plus the upgrade, when I got to the suite there were spider webs on the windows and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly looked like someone had urinated on the bathroom floor.
We got transferred to another suite.

The place is nice people are friendly they have food there they have jacuzzis there they have water sport activities there they have rooms with views there the staff is really nice and friendly the rooms are clean the food is a good value and generally if a person is looking to have a good time they can come there and do exactly that I don't know how dog-friendly they are which is a big plus or minus for me because if the dog can't come my dog then I don't like to go there was there last night on 2/8 and I had a good time it was pretty incredible there's a nice view from the beach that they have there anyone looking to have a good time I would suggest you go there

Older casino and hotel but fairly clean...if nothing else it has a smashburger. Also the only hotel with a real river beach with jet skis for rent
