Hard Rock Hotel Review

Very correct attention, excellent location, spacious and comfortable family room, great breakfast. We were very comfortable.

Fantastic hotel. It feels very American, specially in the size of the rooms. Staff is nice. Breakfast is a must. It is delicious. The breakfast staff were so attentive, it made a great impression on all of us. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring London and the Hard Rock was fabulous, amazing breakfast buffet, comfortable rooms, great service and friendly staff, and the rock memorabilia was superb, such a joy, thank you!

It s renovated all the decoration rooms the special is the location which is on the Oxford shopping street for family s I believe this is the one as the price average with others hotels I can say 4 stars hotel near by Hyde park and plus there is McDonald s next to it and a small supermarket in fort of hotel these options I believe needful for a family with child s I highly recommended.

Great lobby, bar and atmosphere downstairs. The rooms are tiny for the price but hey if you want a suite in park lane then dig deep my friend

Good location, good breakfast. That's where the good ends, the air conditioning in my room broke 4 times during my stay, room was very hot, most of the power outlets didn't even work so it was a challenge charging your phone, not to mention they had very loud construction workers hammering away since early In the morning waking everyone up, definitely would not recommend.

Plenty of renovations going on and I had a room with not a single power socket. Not even by the desk to charge the computer. Located above Marble Arch Station and prime shopping district so that's a plus. Request for newly renovated room if possible.

Extremely rude staff at the reception desk. Overcharged us twice and had no professional conduct. Hotel rooms were ok, and the location is good. Average breakfast.

The Reception and large Foyer area that you would enter from the front of the hotel has recently been renovated and is looking misleadingly smart! Its just a shame that the all sleeping accommodation isn't up to the same standard as every room I've stayed in has been tired looking and in need of a refresh.

Location is great, rooms are a bit on the small side. Needs more power outlets! All hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Very slow at check in. Weird room with shower glass door as bathroom door. Not to my taste. Recently refurbished but maybe not with the best quality of hardware. Left a pond on bathroom floor after a shower.

Stayed at this hotel last year was brilliant but this year I was getting ready to have a shower and 2 people walked in to my room as the hotel double booked the room wasn't happy and it took over 2 hours to find a different room VERRY VERRY UNHAPPY THIS TIME

A hotel with bad services and lost my luggage and the lobby is bad, and there is no permanent hot water and no heating in the room, but it is good in terms of location because it is close to the market, Oxford Street and Ajord Road

Absolutely unbelievable unorganised hotel of the century. What can go wrong will go wrong. Rooms left without cleaning. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful and complaints left unsolved and the cherry on the top was the restaurant manager verbal abused me and spoke to me like a moronic child. Despite pursuring it three time with an official complaint, the senior manager has not told him to apologise to me and appears to have done nothing about it. This hotel appears not to put the customer first. Be warned never stay at this hotel!!!!

Based on its 4 star rating... this is a pretty awful hotel. Pictures make it look FAR nicer than it is.

Even the executive rooms are dated and cramped. The place seriously needs a refurb.
Terrible amenities: About two plug points in the whole room - no USB ports. Awful irons and hairdryers. Air con in one of the rooms was broken. Decent shower at least.

We asked to fix the air con - guy came said it was fixed but it wasn't. Couldn't be bothered wasting more time so had to leave it.

Silly things like the lifts say you need to put your keycard in the slot for it to work but you can just press your number anyway... whats the point?

We had two rooms booked and they put us on the same floor but at other ends of the the floor (which is pretty massive). Considering the rooms were booked 5 months in advance, where is the logic in that? we asked to get rooms closer only to be told that's not possible, because the hotel is fully booked. Then after a while... suddenly there is a room 2 doors down. So something doesn't add up there.

The hotel is absolutely PACKED which makes for a terrible and cheap atmosphere - like being on a package holiday. The queues for check in are a joke. Sometimes even getting a lift down can take 5 to 10 minutes during the busy check out period!

The breakfast is edible at best. Full of rubbish like tinned fruit etc. The staff have such a hard time keeping up with the demand and queues form outside the breakfast hall.

Location is ok if you are a tourist but if you know London, Marble Arch isn't the most interesting place to stay.

Best avoided.

Good location by the metro station. Another line station nearby. Rooms clean tidy, nothing is missing in them. After entering the room, we find the TV with rock music turned on - a pleasant surprise. Breakfast very good. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

DONT EVEN THINK BELEAVING THEM WHEN CALLING CAUSE ALL THE STAFF WHEN CALLING 0 FOR ROOM SERVICE ARE LIERS!!!!

AC NOT WORKING SINCE WE CHECKED IN and I CALLED SEVERAl times THEY IGNORED ME!!! NO ONE CAME TO CHECK. ADDITIONALLY, WE CHECKED IN AT 2:00 PM WE GOT THE ROOM AT 5:40 PM ITS OUR FIRST TIME AND LAST WITH THIS HOTEL.

I STAYED AT MANY HOTELS ON OXFORD THEY REALLY VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Nice place, on the other hand impossible to eat there! 1st visit, the place closes exceptionally earlier, they give us 30min to order and eat! 2nd visit, it's full, you have to come back in 1 hour, something we did, so 1 hour later, oh not impossible, you needed your name to reserve otherwise 1 hour wait
I have done a lot of hard rock cafe so far but this is the only one that is so haughty and without customer service ...

One of the best located hotels in London. Just on the Oxford st. and its close proximity to Hyde park, makes it a very ideal place to stay.

I have checked in on the 11th June 2016 and it took me 5 minutes to be in my room with the luggage.I visit Cumberland every year since 1994 and the location,lovely rooms,friendly staff,excellent food and fantastic housekeeping who keep the room spic and span.I am still here and will always stay at Cumberland till I come to London.Manmeet Anand.

A very nice hotel overall. The lobby is huge and very swish, with a bar and a restaurant, and an executive lounge. The staff are really helpful and very polite.. Upstairs the halls and rooms are nice, though perhaps slightly dated.

REALLY great place to have business meeting. Plenty of seats and good PowerPoint conncetions

Sadly the worst hard rock we have ever stayed in and one of the worst hotels (and we have stayed in some rough ones before). The food was truly bad, I mean bad, even the staff warned us about eating there. The shower had to be the most blood boiling part, it doesn t work! We had 3 people up to our room and the hot water doesn t work period. We could not shower and no one could figure it out not move us rooms. The rooms are small, apron check in the little guy at the front desk said we may be at the other hard rock on Cumberland street because he couldn t find our reservation. So we walked with all our luggage for an hour in circles in London just to there is no other hard rock hotel location up the road, went back and a much more competent man found our reservation and checked us right in. Stay away.

The food was not from a 4 star hotel, and the cleanliness was conspicuous by its absence. Otherwise correct.

Would have given 5* but for the fact that we had to change 3 rooms as the Air-conditioning was broken even though we were told all in working order. Staff was very good and very patience.

We found the hotel on another website but on checking their actually website found we could book it for a price a lot less than we had originally found.

It also had the most helpful staff I have ever had in a hotel - they were all over the reception, there to help you.
I all it was a lovely hotel even just for 1 night - wish could have stayed longer..

There is maintenance work in the hotel, the entrance to the hotel on the main street, congestion and the bag service for one person only for the guests, the inconvenience of the selection work and the lobby is small, congested on the elevators, the rooms are good and clean, the reception was good, fast and cheerful, the room was changed and a relatively larger room was taken without taking an additional amount. Thank, buffet Breakfast is excellent, large and varied.
