Had an amazing stay here at Bubbles Dive Resort. If you like the idea of getting away from roads, lots of people, and the hectic everyday...then this is the place for you! It s very basic yet amazingly comfortable. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds for the end of a warm day of activity and lounging (air conditioning helps). If scuba is your thing it seems like it can be rewarding, our family just snorkels and it served our purpose very well. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed getting to eat at a designated table for each of our meals. The staff were fabulous and very helpful. The bonus was the nightly turtle adventure that played itself out. Either baby turtles needed releasing or mother turtles were coming into the shore to nest. It was an experience to never forget!! Our family stayed 4 days and it was the perfect amount of time to relax and do two days of snorkelling. Would recommend the experience to anyone!

Resort located at the bay between Tanjung Tukas Darat and Tanjung Tukas Laut at Pulau Perhentian Besar, have her own private beach. No other resort around, you can enjoy your private time here. No phone signals here but there is pretty fast WiFi available around the reception and restaurant area, just incase if need to check important email. Room was really good, air conditioned, quite fine water pressure, hot water and don't expect a TV here, we don't need it. Bubbles Dive Resort is mainly cater for divers where there is dive centre. Besides of sea activities, diving, snorkelling, kayaking, etc. do bring your sneakers to go jungle tracking for sunrise, etc. There's small Turtle Conservation Centre that can get info about. You may see turtle land to lay eggs at nite if get lucky enough. Only thing I hate here is the meal, get bored with chicken menu. Took room with 3 times meal package, expected to enjoy the fresh seafood but was wrong. I reckon they should arrange with local fishermen around to supply the fresh seafood stock. Should enjoy the fresh seafood, since stay at an island!

Excellent dive shop especially Grace the dive master. Just need to improve on food. The chef really like to add salt and sugar to the Asian food! Breakfast really big portion.

Very beautiful beach. Accessible by Taxi Boat from the Barat and the main beach for 20m oo person or if you rent at Bubble Resort. But in this case be careful it is very calm. Nothing to do next to swimming and diving. Beach with few people. Corals and fish on the right.

Perfect in every way. From the boss to the cook. The animation and diving team are great. The boss is a very simple person. The employees are all helpful, hospitable and professional. The beach and the water are beautiful. The price totally affordable. The hotel takes care of everything on simple request. From the airport to pick us up, until transfer back. Only downside ..... we did not stay long enough !!!!

Beautiful beach, simple rooms with a very comfy bed. I love the outside shower style which is great for me. Also got to witness a turtle giving birth which was a once in a lifetime incredible experience. Staff are all lovely and make you feel welcome, it really is a little slice of paradise with clear waters and lots of fish.

Daniel took us snorkelling around Rawa where we saw lots of stunning marine life. Which was incredible.

Also great to see a place trying to conserve and reduce waste, actively recycling and with a water dispenser. Love all attempts to reduce plastic.

The only thing letting this place down is the food, would have been great to have some local Malaysian options. But I wouldn t let this stop you from going there!

Had an amazing time here. I got the opportunity to help out the staff in collecting baby turtle eggs and laying them in the hatchery, as well as seeing baby turtle hatchlings as they ran into the sea from the beach.

Close to nature, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and good food. Dive school has high quality gear and highly trained staff. If you want to destress and get away from it all, this is the ideal getaway for tou.

The only resort on this secluded bay where turtles still land and the sandy beach is all yours all day. Great spot for snorkeling just off the beach during high tide and for some local wildlife like flying lemur and leaf monkeys. Great for stargazing and relaxing as there is no crowd from other resorts. Well equipped dive shop with friendly & competent staff.

A lovely eco-friendly resort with stunning clear waters, private (& clean) beach, friendly staff and a turtle hatchery! So lucky to have watched a mother turtle nesting and hatchlings going into the sea.

Bubbles is perfect for us! We go there every year and preferably stay more than 2 weeks. We love the island life there, the laid back atmosphere, beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. The bungalows are good and spacious, nice open air shower and the biggest beds ever. Last year was our first time as a family with our 5 month old baby. It was just perfect. This year we booked already our 3 weeks stay and then with our 2nd baby as well!!
Diving with Bubbles is awesome, they show you all nice things and explain you everything. The equipment is very well maintained and the boats have rooftops. Bubbles will take you to the best dive sites of Perhentian no matter the distance and number of divers. (compared to other diveshops who only go to certain sites if they have a certain number of divers attending) The instructors and divemasters are always very friendly and helpful. I recommend everyone to go diving with Bubbles, especially if you want to do your Open Water course or any other course. Safety goes first, and they explain everything very well.
The restaurant is a very nice and lively area. Yes, breakfast lunch and dinner are at certain times, but these times fit perfectly in your daily island routine. Food is good, also for me as vegetarian. If you are lucky they will have a BBQ, that looks really nice and cosy at the beach. We always have a la carte so that we can choose our own meals. But there is also a package available.
Did I mention already the beach? The beach is probably the nicest of the island, it's deserted, from time to time you will be the only one there. You can walk the long stretch and take a dip on the other side. Go for some snorkeling and see all the corals and fishes just in front. And I love the fact that you don't see anything of the resort and diveshop if you arrive, its just a green treeline. Secluded, pristine, green background, crystal clear waters, white sand........ What do you need more? I never want to leave......

Idyllic, calm, resposant, distant from other beaches. A unique atmosphere reigns here. The restaurant is pretty good and remains affordable. You will be able to cross turtles. A hatchery is present on the beach.

Like the setup of the resort is very good for whole family's to stay and bonding. Beautiful beach and food have no MSG. Plenty of fruits

A corner of paradise. The staff is very kind and the place is very clean. The buffet is always very stocked and with a good choice. Since there are no connections by land with the rest of the island, booking full board is practically an obligation. The only comment is for the dive center run by guys who may be a little too young

Uff where to start ... We are a thirty-something couple that due to good reviews decided to stay here. First, we had 1.5 hours waiting at the ferry stop, as they have their own boat service. We had booked at 9:30 and, at the end and without giving any explanation, they picked us up at 11.

It is a beach that is beautiful, but you are far from everything. Maybe too much ... To move from the hotel the only way is by boat and being the only service, the prices are higher than in the rest of the beaches.

The same thing happens with the restaurant, the prices up to triple those of other beaches, you have the feeling that you are being scammed every time you eat.

The staff after 3 weeks touring Malaysia, is the least "welcoming" I have come to see, sincerely a disappointment after what I had read before coming here.

The lunch and dinner schedules are very conditional and by 10 o'clock at night you have everything turned off and you do not even have the chance to have a beer. The only thing you can do is go to sleep.

Taking this hotel conditions you too much. I would not go back, nor would I recommend this place to anyone if what they really want is to visit the Perhentian islands.

Clear and warm ocean, lots of different marine life, secluded beach and very friendly staff. One of my best vacation experiences!

Are u looking for a real tropical sea experience? Please, don't consider this place! The red sea, the Mediterranean sea, compared with this sea are the best ever seen!

Quaint place,minimal frills and not because it needed one. Has great private beach, wonderful environment friendly set up, amazing place to unwind and just enjoy it for what it is...a beach holiday

At first I was kinda uncertain about my choice as the booking system's kinda confusing: I booked for two rooms with different extras, different deposit rate, then the staff mixed up some info and sent the booking details with wrong amount...but it's okay since everything could be settled in the end. (and yes, it is still confusing till the moment I paid for the bill, as they included the tax in the price, and then there's another 'service tax' stated at the total sum). However, I think their cashless billing system for the whole resort is still good overall because it is pretty convenient. You can grab your drink and food at the counter, join in any activities by telling them your room number, and they will add them into your final bill, just pay them all on your last day of stay with credit card (you just need to check the list is correct). My friends and I stayed at interconnecting rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean (still a bit sandy but expected since it's a 'beach-cation'). We had a mixed review about the open air shower room, but I like it. But I think the shower room condition may need some improvement: scrub the floor frequently perhaps? or change everything to tile? or prepare a pair of slippers ... as we dont prefer to step on floor with moss). We didnt encounter surprise attack from bugs / mosquito throughout our stay! We were able to have some quality sleep and felt energized for activities on the next day. The food, we ordered the package. I love their dessert, for the main it's okay. They serve Halal food. Wifi at the common area 's pretty strong for instant messaging. Commenting on service, excellent! The staffs are friendly and extremely patient (I appreciated it a lottt! the receptionist dealt with all my questions queries etc etc with great manner from day 1 of pre-booking via whatsapp till the moment we left the place by speed boat). Thanks a lot for everything! Recently, we read a review about the foul smell, and yes, we encountered it. But to me, it's bearable as it only appeared in the evening for less than an hour. Just two cents, the staff may inform the guest about it and its cause during check in so that the guest expects it without a question raised in mind. Activities: Firstly, for the turtle conservative talk, we enjoyed it..we,too like the idea that the staff would notify us whenever there's surprise appearance of mother turtle/ baby turtle (You just need to flip the sign as 'YES' on the door). Secondly, we did kayaking. Nice one since no strong current. Lastly, we had great diving experience! Thank you Fariq and Derrick for all the guidance! They are nice by giving us the diving tips, giving us a de-briefing, showing us the type of creatures we saw with reference books after dive, drawing our logbook...(LOL) . The equipment's good. They have their own house reef to do discovery shore dive. The dive site D'lagoon is good. Twas a good 3D2N stay and would definitely recommend it to our friends! (:

We loved the staff, the food, the mango smoothies, iced coffees, the toast, the beach, the crystal clear water, the responsibility that we were given as working volunteers on the turtle conservation project, seeing green turtles come up to lay eggs each night of our stay, beong trusted to transplant eggs, having no roads, having a monitor lizard in place of a dog, swinging in hammocks, sand in our toes and a simple life on an island for a few days.

Some resort u call it 5 star hotel. Bubbles you call it home that you want to go back everyday. 5 star service, hospitality and dive resort.

Great place to relax and go diving and snorkeling. Place is run really well, rooms are clean and the amenities are good. There is very little internet access as well as poor phone signal so this is a good place to disconnect from it all.
