Hard Rock Cafe Marseille Review

Nice place. Characteristic. Staff mostly Italian.
Pricey but the dishes are plentiful. I recommend a dish for two.
Getting the shirt on is a must.

No matter where you go in the world Hard Rocks never disappoint and this is the same. Friendly and happy staff who have a laugh and a joke with you, good food and even better cocktails. Just a word of warning the food portions are big so make sure your eyes aren t bigger than your belly.

A typical restaurant, you can expect the same in any place.

Nice place , but waitresses were running about trying to serve everyone, probably a bit busy.

This place is a dump and the food is horrible. Not your average hard rock.

Service by the staff and the food were absolutely great but the best thing was the view you have if you sit upstairs facing the sea

Not the best Hard Rock we've been to. It's beach front with a good vibe but tables were wobbly and while there seemed to be more staff than usual for a French restaurant we still had trouble getting their attention. Happy hour isn't valid outside and isn't clearly explained in writing, you have to ask. It's basically bar only and most drinks except some that they point out.

Caroum burger costs over 20 euros and bad. It does not compare with slim places like outback tgi apllebee etc.

Friendly service. Terrace is on a busy road, which is a pity. The card was not what I am used to from HRC, but that could be due to the corona. The food was mediocre and for the price you pay quite below par. No, not my favorite HRC. Too bad .... which is a plus if you have forgotten your mask, you will be offered one of them. Very neat.

truly disappointed about my dinner with my friends:
we go there everytime we go to Nice, it became a sort of tradition.
They didn't take my reservation so I had to wait 20 minutes for a table I booked 3 days before.
We were five, but they gave us a table for 4 people (I had to eat at the corner of the table): when I asked if it was possible to change the table with an other one pretty close to us, they said that everything was booked (all the bigger tables stayed free for the whole evening).
When I asked for eplanations, the "manager" answered with a smile saying "yes yes". are you kidding me?
I ate the worst Club Sandwich of my life and the waiter was the most unpolite I ever met.
You definitely lost 5 clients

Good musical atmosphere (sometimes a little loud inside ...) Pleasant terrace, good burgers and good cocktails! Nice to see that English OR American brunches and breakfasts are back

The restaurant is not up to the level of other HRCs. The ground floor room looks like a cafeteria (cheap tables and some very poorly installed in the passages). The upper room is more pleasant if you have the chance to be placed on the edge (sea view). The musical decoration is reduced, few memories, TV and sound are covered by the noise of room (low ceilings so very noisy). The service is really bad: they (including manager) do not understand French. It is very painful. Very long wait ...
The dishes are consistent with other HRC: wide portions and high prices. A dish is worth an average of 20 , and a glass of wine 8 , jn cocktail 15.

Good hard rock but too much waiting .. 40 min we waited x to eat

Horrible experience. Had it been the first visit to this establishment it would have been the last one ! The meat of the burger was worse that any MacDonald, and the Texan sandwich was uneatable. I hope our complaint will improve the quality. We visit the HardRock of Nice often9, but this time we'll give them time to get better !

The ugliest and smallest rock art I have visited in the world there is really nothing interesting in this place

I have been to a few hard rocks over the years and this rates as the worse one, not sure if it is just the weekend I visited but really wasn't impressed, the service was applauding really slow. The staff didn't want to Kno you unless they we actually your server and the food just looked like it was thrown on the plate. I ordered a burger and the top of the bun wasn't even on the burger. Not impressed !!!!!!!

Not a great experience at this Hard Rock Cafe. It Lacks atmosphere! You might as well be in any burger restaurant in any town. I booked the priority seating / line jumping Diamond package and specifically asked to be seated upstairs at the front windows. When we arrived we were seated upstairs in a door way !! After being told we could not sit in the empty seats by the window because they were reserved, I pointed out that they were indeed reserved....BY ME ...But was told we could not sit there.
After complaining 3 times they eventually sat us on a side window table. The set menu did not have enough choice ! To the point where your" choice" of dessert was....A brownie!...That was it!! There was no choice! Then they brought us the wrong food and when the right food did arrive my wife's meal was missing the pulled pork. No explanation was given for this. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the manager was extremely friendly and happy...And the staff were trying their hardest and we're polite and happy but we're possible just inexperienced or understaffed.
The food was good but not exceptional. Overall I would not recommend a visit to this Hard Rock Cafe! Especially as it is surrounded by a multitude of Cafe's and restaurant's that serve far superior food in much nicer surrounding's. Sorry Hard Rock Cafe Nice, but I'm Afraid you are just not up to the experience standard that people expect from a Hard Rock Cafe.
