Easy parking, and the beds were incredible.
Seriously. This bed floated me up into the sky like that little cloud riding dude in super Mario 3.

My room at first smelled like nursing home. It was 75and my a/c after being on for an hour and a half set at 66 the temp went to 76. So could be better.

Boyfriend and I checked into hotel on friday December 7th.. When we got to room, they didnt gv us 2 extra pillows and requested, and only had 3 towels in the room so we had too ask for both.. We left hotel for dinner and to pick up our badges for convention we were attending that weekend. We got back to the hotel, and as soon as we walked into our room, we get call from front desk, asking if we had smelled smoke in the hallway, which we hadnt, and told them we do not smoke either... When i say called they called when we got to the room, I MEAN LITERALLY WHEN WE WALKED IN THE DOOR..... WELL, im doing my banking and noticed that, not only did they deduct the 20, which was supposed to go back in our account, of which account said charge was reversed at first, but then, I look and they deducted another $20 so that was $40.. Then, they not only deducted the cost of the room,$245, they deducted $200 as well.. I called the hotel and was told that we were charged another $200 because we were smoking in the room, WHICH WE WERE'NT AS WE DO NOT SMOKE.. WE stretched our budget so we could get away from dealing with treat ourselves so we could forget about my husbands liver cancer.. We were'nt expecting to find that were $240 short in our bank account which leaves us with $100 till payday which is the week after nxt.. They said absolutely nothing to us as we checked out on Sunday morning because theyre was nothing to say as we are ex smokers..I called and was told they couldn't do anything and to call manager in morning.. No, Im sorry if there's a misunderstanding, and we'll take care of this misunderstanding, just telling me there was non smoking hotel!!! I will post this every single day to make sure that they know how the staff treat their patrons!! Again, we dnt smoke..Who thinks this is totally absurd!! I actually feel betrayed as we have always had a high opinion Hampton Inns as this is the only hotel we use when we go anywhere, including trips to Yale for husbands cancer..I CANT BELIEVE THEY WOULD DO THIS TO A LOYAL CUSTOMER.. They didnt even ask if we smoked in room, they asked us if we smelled smoke in the hallway.. They didn't even ask us if we were smoking which we were'nt.. If staff felt we were smoking, the manager or staff should've came to the room to see for themselves, that we weren't.. ASKING IF WE SMELLED SMOKE IN THE HALLWAY DOES NOT CONSTITUTE BEING ACCUSED We are more than livid and hurt by the staff of this hotel.. $240 is a lot of money for us, as is for alot of people, but even worse knowing that we are being robbed by hotel we have trusted and loved for years...YES I SAID WE HAVE BEEN ROBBED!!! MERRY XMAS TO US.. THAT WAS OUR XMAS MONEY FOR OUR GRANDCHILDREN.. I WILL BE CALLING THESE PEOPLE EVERY 30 MINUTES UNTIL THIS IS RECTIFIED!!! THIS ISNT THE HAMPTON INN THAT I LOVE GOING TOO! I wish i didnt have to come here and post this review, but i dnt know what else to do!!!!!

Simply amazing staff - best, most friendly, cheerful bunch I have run into in probably any hotel in which I've ever stayed. Will definitely remember my stay for this aspect. In addition, impeccable atmosphere and room quality you come to expect from Hampton.

I stayed here for 4 nights.
Great hotel and good service. Good location and a lot of restaurants around there. Breakfast is just ok and kind of overcrowded!! Small hotel but you really got all your need.

I arrived a little bit early than check in time. Staff refused to let us to leave more than 3 luggages there even they have space.

Service was good. Rooms a bit small but comfortable. And location was convenient: close drive to rutgers. Overall it was a good experience for the price

We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and the are all great. By far the best staff yet.

Housekeeping was extremely late (2pm), tried requesting towels to no avail 3 times (quite the detriment when you've book the Jacuzzi suite). When housekeeping did come, they threw away my lunch (a large pizza box full of pizza and breadsticks) away despite it not being near the trash. Cable reception was horrible, with the picture constantly flickering in and out. Lastly, unsure if it'sposted or not, but beware when paying with a credit card that they charge a temporary extra $40 or so hold on the account in case you order room service, etc.

OMG DID I SAY OMG.....THE STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING, VERY HELPFUL, AND KIND. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN (LOVED THE WHIRLPOOL). JUST AS SHOWED ON THE INTERNET I STAYED 3 DAYS LAST WEEKEND AND I AM BOOKING ANOTHER ROOM FOR NEXT WEEKEND.

I could not for the life of me connect to the wifi.

I loved it! It was really clean, friendly staff, great breakfast and convenient location.

A nice enough hotel that's close to our business meetings, so when we are in the area, we stay here. Clean and has a typical Hampton Inn breakfast in the morning. Front desk staff has always been helpful.

My parents enjoyed their stay here. Great location as they didn t have a car nor could drive since they were visiting from South Africa and they drive on the other side lol.
Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Due to Covid there was a lack of options for breakfast but that got resolved once I had placed an enquiry. Great staff and very helpful. Be sure to ask for help when needed or you won t get helped.

Despite of covid housekeepers cleaned the room and replaced the towels and sheets on alternate days since they were there for a week. Check in was smooth and no fuss. Very safe and covid safe.

Staying with Hampton we always know what to expect. Very happy

I stayed here for over a month..highly recommend this place..staff very friendly always smiling and ready to help..they go out of their way to meet your needs from a microwave to bringing up breakfast..rooms are inexpensive housekeepers are sweethearts and room met my standards and beyond..fifth floor is exceptional..maintenance was even there to install a brand new air filter before i moved my things in..will stay here again in future!

We booked a room online and I received a confirmation number that the room was paid for and being held. Once I arrived, the front desk woman tells me there are no more rooms available and that booking through the website is never a guarantee. I asked to speak to the manager and once the short manager with glasses popped up from beind the desk, he was one of the RUDEST gay black men I've EVER met. I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day or if he's upset unity the obvious "cards" he was dealt at birth. Either way, that behavior should be left at home before you go to your 9 to 5er "Sheeple" job.

This place was absolutely perfect for a date night with my husband. The price was very good and the room was nice. Recommended!

The hotel was nice and comfortable. Took me a little bit to actually get the hvac to work but that would be my only complaint.

My fiance lives in Virginia and visits me once every month. He usually arrives before the check in time and his room is always ready! The reception is always kind and wonderful- they know him by name ! The rooms are always very clean, and compared to other hotels in the area - this place is a steal!

I always stay here when traveling back and forth from Jersey to Penn State. Rooms are always nice and clean. Beds are soft and comfy!

We stayed overnight because we were working in town and instead of driving all the way back to long island just to be up early and drive back the next day we opted to stay the night. Staff was very pleasant and nice lobby area was well lit and clean and so were the room. I would stay there again.

This hotel was great, I'd stay here again if I visited NJ. They definitely cater to millennials, which was kinda cute. See the photos for proof. Also, most importantly, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

A quick run in and out trip. Very simple hotel with nice clean ambience and great helpful staff! Definitely recommend staying here on a business trip. Great facilities with a gym and a pool although we didn't use the pool given the season.

I m giving 5 stars because...
I was looking for a place for my parents to crash when they came from out of state to visit. I walked in the place and it was immaculate, well stocked with snacks galore, the lounge area is gorgeous/modern flair, the reception desk was super friendly and extremely helpful. I asked to see a room and they look immaculate, comfortable, clean and neat. I ended up cancelling my reservations because my crazy parents since bought a camper. Retirees!

I would highly recommend this hotel! The staff are superbly friendly the space is modern and clean and the rooms look outstanding.

Let's start by saying I've stayed at this hotel when I come to New Jersey plenty of times and all of my experiences there were great the room was clean the food was good but this time I go there and the room that I had was horrible the beds for too soft and they moved off the frames and there is no microwave in the room this time.hardly got any sleep due to the factor of all the noise from an adjoining room that we didn't even know who was in there but started screaming on the telephone at 4:30 in the morning and talk to guest services downstairs told us that they would talk to the people next to us which that did not help and the food that they had for breakfast was a horrible for 2 days. Very expensive place to stay don't know if I'd be staying there in the future

Probably my 4th or 5th stay here. Same as usual. Reasonably comfortable, one of the more affordable hotels in the area. I'd recommend it.

Staff was really great when I arrived. Nothing popped out as extraordinary. Breakfast was like most Hampton breakfasts.

The staff was great, it had a HUGE hot tub in the room. Overall very happy and would stay there anytime I was in NJ.

My room was EXTREMELY clean! The house keeper Hallie was extremely nice and made sure we had all our necessities to have a great stay! Louie the breakfast manager kept the breakfast bar stocked and replaced condiments immediately! Merle the front seat clerk was just as polite and knowledgable about the property! Kudos to the management team you guys obviously are treating your staff great because it shows in there work! See you guys soon!

Clean room, mini fridge but no microwave and ice machine was out of order on our floor. Nice spread for complimentary breakfast, decent gym and outdoor pool. Nice staff.

Nice room, good amenities but the air conditioning in my room was broken..

The Jacuzzi bath tub in the room was the best experience ever.

Friendly front desk. I found the a/c not to work very well and the pillows were not great. The room was clean and I would stay here again though.

The best Inn and always the same great experience every time I visit. I wish if I could stay every day here is the best. Nice working table and chair for office work and perfect bed to relax. The breakfast is also great. The service is outstanding.

I dont give this rating score lightly. The friendliness and welcoming of the front desk staff was exceptional and all the staff were so kind and helpful. The room was very comfy and clean. Breakfast was very good.
