Having used several camp software programs through the years, we have been with CampMinder since 2014, and couldn't be more pleased. In addition to doing just about everything we could ask for, including medical, class scheduling, and custom forms, the online and phone support is excellent. We also love the options given to parents for photos, emails, etc. CampMinder is the best!

Pros: CampMinder is very user-friendly and has all the features needed for effective enrollment management. From being able to run enrollment reports, to be able to see if a parent opened and read an email, to allow parents to register their child for camp and make payments online at their convenience. CampMinder has helped our organization bring our enrollment process to the 21 century. Before getting CampMinder we were still registering students via a paper system. CampMinder has allowed us to have access to so much more information at our fingertips.
Cons: There is no adult module and adults have to register themselves as children. Our adult students do not like having to use a workaround to register online. However, our adult students still love that they can sign up online at their convenience and make payments.
Although this is what I like least about the software, CampMinder is working on an adult module at the moment and it is currently in Beta testing. Our adult students will be thrilled when this module is available to them.
Overall: CampMinder has allowed us to streamline our registration process and enabled us to have so much access to information via the various reports that we can run through the system. The software has allowed us to better track how students find out about us and follow up on leads and inquiries. We are able to track the workload and enrollment numbers at any time.
CampMinder has been one of the best partnerships we ever made in managing our database and interacting with our camper families. We are so grateful for their commitment to excellence and truly caring about us.

Our summer camp staff ranges between 500 to 600 members; I hire, rehire and contract everyone without a clerk, or an assistant... I rely solely on CampMinder. CampMinder allows me to customize contracts, salaries, positions while tracking all the vital personnel information any HR department requires. Creating reports and assigning criteria and being able to set your own level of detail, is amazingly easy and effective. I think in 2 years working with CampMinder I have experienced 1 issue, and their service team was AMAZINGLY quick to respond, efficient and polite! Highly recommend.
I have worked with the Campminder team for over six summers. First as a staff member receiving information from my directors about the campers who I would be working with. It was such a huge difference to see how clearly things were presented and provided to me as the person responsible for a group of campers traveling internationally.
Once I started directing my own camp I knew there was only one option when it camp to a camp management system. I still did my comparison research but in the end I turned to Campminder. One large reason was that their customer service was excellent. They were not pushy but happy to answer any questions I had and work with me to make sure their system is the correct fit. Since then I am directing a different camp that had a different management system when I started. I moved is over to Campminder and my staff are very grateful for it.

The registration process is easy to use - some may suggest that it can be complicated to set up, but for the number of features it provides... reporting, health reports, batch printing, custom searches and reports... it is well worth it!
