My wife and I began taking our child their since the last school year. We got notice that he wasn't doing well. Since tutoring at My learning Studio he has been very successful. We have continued ever since. Lorna the owner has been great to my wife and I. And we have loved our tutors Michele last year and especially our tutor this year Natalie. I highly recommend. I hope they expand we would like a facility closer to UCR and the heart of Riverside where we live.

Worst service ever?! Run at all costs?! I don't think so! Not even close! Before I debate your laughable review, let me guess...you didn't get your way with something and now you're brewing over it. Right? Yea I'm sure I'm pretty dead on. Yes the owner, or Lorna as we like to call her by name, is very direct and straight forward with you. Does that make her "mean"? No, it means you'll never be guessing with her and will always know her yes is yes and her no is no. It makes her just like any successful "man" would be who runs his own company. Why isn't anyone calling them mean. Oh no they're "in charge", "driven", "a pioneer", "a true leader". But let a woman assert herself and she's meaaaan. Yes she demands a lot from her tutors because they are the very extension of her name sake and your kids education is at stake. Rude, no. Direct, demanding & driven yes! I drive all the way from Moreno Valley twice a week to have my children tutored by her staff. All three of them (8th grade, 5th grade & 3rd grade) have been under her tutelage since June and I couldn't be happier! And that takes a lot for me because you see I'm not a Cali mom. I'm from the east coast and I KNOW what a good education looks like and trust me Cali is severely lacking. So from the time my 8th grader was in Kindergarten I've sought out ways to supplement her education and her brothers that followed. This summer I was looking for math camps for them and two other daycare/tutoring companies recommended My Learning Studio. One was located on the campus of the highly sought after Kennedy Elem. and couldn't give me what I needed and asked if I had tried MLS. The other, The Children's Lighthouse, also couldn't help and even had MLS's flyers available and pointed me in their direction. Lorna, Judy, Angela and all their amazing staff know that if they don't produce results, your kids suffer and they're now about to let that happen. I gotta tell ya this group is COMMITTED to the success of your kids like they were their own. I mean from the first day they take ownership of your kids needs and you instantly become family. Instantly! It's more then just a j-o-b with them; it's personal. They are MORE THEN accommodating and will do everything within their power to work out your financial, educational or scheduling situations. And even when they have to say no they still come to you with options and do their best to say yes. Who does that these days? Oh yea MLS does! So when, not if, you take your kids there you will see them soar! Their confidence will build and the stigma of "needing help" fades away and all you're left with are confident, capable kids who excel thanks to the phenomenal team at MLS! My kids have been going to common core bootcamp this summer and they really enjoyed it! My son is also taking private tutoring and he has improved in his reading comprehension. The teachers and staff are very nice and know what they doing!Definitely recommend it!
My 11-year old grandson goes to My Learning Studio twice a week for 5th grade math. He has really been struggling this year and has greatly improved since since he has been attending, thanks to his tutor John. The facility is always clean and it's obvious the owner, Lorna really cares about her students, parents and staff.
Not a productive place! Tutors are not trained. Girl at front desk seems unorganized and has an attitude . Staff is unorganized and owner is very rude and condescending. The staff changes constantly. The owner brags about her personal life.....Avoid this place!
I called My Learning Studio to verify pricing information and detail on the school teaching process. The information I did not get. Instead, Lorna, the owner, delivered the most condescending speech I ve heard in my life; in relation to parenting and my educational readiness to help my children. She sounds like an extremely arrogant person that most likely did not realize that such lack of people skills will be perceived negatively. I don t see the benefit of making people feel ignorant and inadequate. Given that Lorna is the business owner I have to wonder how the learning process at My Learning Studio is presented to the kids. I would think an opinion do not require the submission of the associated author name. I am mostly concerned with the content as it will affect my decision. Therefore, thank you A Google User .
I have known Lorna for years. She is so wonderful with the kids. I am appreciative of the professionalism of the tutors and the caring nature they have to help children succeed. The office staff was very helpful to try and arrange a schedule that would work for my daughter. I highly recommend My Learning Studio for all your tutoring and assessment needs.
My son took advantage of the summer school program. 3 hours 4 days a week and we are noticing the huge impact it had now that the school year has begun. The best part was he enjoyed going and looked forward to each an every day there.
I love My Learning Studio! The staff is fantastic and my son loves going there. They are always punctual and very big on sanitizing, which is so important when you have a bunch of kids. Every tutor that we have had been A+. Our son is excelling in math now. I highly recommend.
I can't say enough positive things about My Learning Studio! My son actually looks forward to his sessions--woohoo! I began bringing my 4th grader towards the end of the year (3/4 through). His confidence and self-esteem improved within weeks! When he returned to school in the fall, he made honor roll and was student of the month!! I only wish I had brought him sooner. Lorna, the staff, and tutors are AMAZING! We felt welcome the very first day. They are always available to answer any questions or concerns I may have/had about my son. Why? Because they genuinely care about the success of their students! I have recommended them to everyone I know. If your child is in need of some extra help, don't hesitate to call them!
I'm a happy mom. My daughter has been going to My Learning Studio for about a year. We have been more than satisfied with every aspect of the studio--from Lorna, Ulla and Tiffany's welcome to the great rapport my daughter has with her tutor, Cinthya. Most importantly, my daughter's grades and confidence have increased dramatically. I highly recommend this tutoring center for all ages.
