I don't think the saleman was honest and i felt like he was trying to deceive me and my husband. Let me start from the beginning, i told the saleman we had a $20.000 budget out the door, we saw a truck that we were interested in , the tag that lets you know what the price of the truck fell between the seats, we asked the saleman Hunter how much was the truck.,he didn't really want to tell us nor did he show us the red tag that had fallen. He was more interested in how much we wanted to pay a month ,so he bought the truck around for us to test drive , the red tag was no where to be found my husband adked him again how much is the truck ,i heard him tell my husband it's between 23 or 24 000 dollars and i said you don't know the exact price on the truck ,at that point i lost respect for this salesman ,he was being deceitful, we drove the truck it was a nice riding truck . We go back to his office he tells us the truck sales for $32 995 and he was giving us a discount of 6000. Dollars so the truck would sell for $26000.00. He asked us cpuld we meet him 1/2 way and he would see if he could do 22000. I do understand if he couldn't do it for 22000. I know this is a business . i called my friend 20 minutes latet to go and inquire about the same truck and he was told the truck sold for $26000. Just as i thought we were lied to by our salesman that's why he never let us see the red tag. Im really not angry for not getting the sale or the truck i wanted just the dishonesty of the company. I don't know if i will ever. go back there again .they act like people are stupid .it left a baf taste in our mouth for this dealership and Hunter my saleman.

I was in a bad car crash that totaled my car and only had less than a week before the rental went out and i came up to Hall Chevy on a wing and a prayer, thinking I wouldn t get anything, Mr. James Copeland put me in my dream car. I was nervous, scared, excited all over the place BUT! if it wasn t for Mr. James Copeland and Mr. Levi I would still have a rental and then after that who knows lol but James helped me with no problems and i drove off the same day and he also helped with setting up as well as walked me through all the necessities and perks that came with my car. We told him what we were looking for and he found the car for me that surpassed what I was looking for. I have never owned a newer model car until now. He helped us get a 2016 Chevy Surburban. Mayleigh was my sales person and I ve been in contact with her through email about the kind of car I wanted and I could tell right away she was genuine. I have never felt more scammed in my entire 25 years of owning a car. Went in for a routine annual inspection and an oil change. My Buick Regal GS passed the inspection but I was told that my Brembo brakes needed replacement and that they would not last long. After I was given a lecture on "would I endanger the lives of my family by putting them into an unsafe vehicle", I acquiesced and changed the pads and rotors. As the gentlemen showed me the computer screen there were engine and brake flushes as recommended procedures. I told him that I was not interested in the flushes. I left and I was called on the phone a few hours later--they told me that the pads they had ordered did not fit the vehicle and they would have to put in the more expensive Brembo ones. I said ok. When I picked up the car the next morning, to my dismay they had done the brake flush and charged me an extra $140 for it! The guy that I had talked to was not there but on the phone he told me it was my fault and that I had agreed to everything on the screen. I left with 4 free oil changes which I will never go back and use. Please watch out for Billy Smith.
I was very impressed by the service and quality of Hall Chevrolet with their patience and persistence with the purchase of my first car. Jimmy and Antario were very helpful in helping me find a car that was as close to the requirements that I had for my first car, as well as Steve did amazing working with their banks in order to get me a loan that would properly fit, as he stated, my "young good credit" Unfortunately, my credit did not apply for the car I wanted, They easily found another one I did qualify for with all of my wants and needs. Even towards the tedious end Matt was very helpful with all of the financial aspects with placing a down payment, even setting up automatic payments out of my savings account. I am very impressed with all of their help and hard work. I plan on continuing my loyalty with Hall Chevrolet with all of my car needs.

Hall Chevy is by far the best dealer and service center in the Hampton Roads area. I purchased an awesome 2016 Silverado from them and was never pressured or treated like I was just a paycheck. The sales staff was excellent and the purchase process was painless.
I had to bring my truck back for a few issues that had nothing to do with the dealership. They quickly made time available according to my schedule to fix the issues...to top it off, they provided a loaner car for the few days they needed the truck. David, the service manager, and Tony (my service lead) were outstanding!

Let me start by saying I am in sales I teach people how to sale. Sales isn't about product knowledge it s about LISTENING to people, figure out why they are there not what they want. So I had been to 15 dealerships that day hearing the same old stuff "what do you want your payment to be, come meet my manager". I walked in to Hall Western Branch loaded for bear and that s when Hank Lockett walked up he asked me a few questions just to see WHY I was there and he could tell I didn't want to her all the sales B.S.. In minutes he had me at ease joking having a great time, then came time to look at vehicles and the vehicles that I originally came to look at were gone. So instead trying to explain why they were gone he simply apologized and then went into trying to find me a vehicle. I didn t buy a vehicle that night but I did buy a vehicle the next day from Hank after visiting another 10 dealerships. Dealing with Hank was a pleasure on the scale of 1-10 I give him a 12 I liked dealing with him so much that I would send my mother to buy a car from him.

I originally had an appointment with Danny to see a cruze hatchback, but he was already with customers when I got there so I was able to work with Steve Harding who picked right up where Danny and I had left off. And when Danny had a second still came over to make sure I was getting everything I needed! After my test drive the sales manager Doug made sure I got everything I asked for. While finishing up, Zach Byrd was amazing at giving me extras at a fantastic price. The teamwork of all of the above individuals really made my 5 hour visit bearable. Usually service is excellent but today I came in for an oil change. About 20min before my car was ready for pick up, Chris called me after they had provided the free alignment check and asked me if I wanted to go ahead and get it taken care of. I was under the impression that it would be free since he had not explained that it would be $99. Once I got there he explained the amount I owed and I was puzzled. Not once on the phone did he tell me the amount, of so I would have gladly declined. He told me to come back and see him after I go my keys, needless to say I will not be coming back to see Chris. The credibility I have in him is gone. I still love my impala, will just be going somewhere else from now on.

Service department routinely over schedules appointments. I have dropped my car off for services that do not take long so many times and end up waiting for hours on end. Today I dropped my car off at 10 am for 2 1/2 hours of work and waited in the waiting area. I inquired with the service agent as to the status of my car at 2:15 PM. They had just taken my car back. My car sat there for 4 hours before it even began getting worked on. And when I asked why that happened the agent replied "We didn't know you were waiting here." That should have no bearing what so ever. If I drop my car off at 10 for an appointment, the expectation is that work will commence on my vehicle with the hour (being generous enough to account for backups and such). This place's business model seems to be cram as many services into a day as possible and see what happens. It is infuriating that quality, reliable service is being sacrificed just to make even more money for a company that my tax dollars bailed out not too long ago. Pathetic! I will not be returning to this establishment and I may not even return to Chevy as a customer in the future.
Bought a car in 2015 being told a recall that specific type of vehicle was conducted, turns out years later when problems regarding the recall show up talking to not only the same dealership (this one) and GM representatives that it never actually got conducted. Which means that they lied in their system to say they performed work to sell the car as quickly as possible which is 100% illegal. Now Hall Chevrolet and GM refuse to admit that they lied about this information and since (just recently, a week ago) it showed in their system as being conducted I'm now being told that I have to pay for everything. Which again is all fraudulent business practice. I thought these people were trustworthy, however I have been proven wrong and being reminded of how blind and greedy businesses and corporations are. And I STRONGLY advise anyone before purchasing ANY vehicle from this dealership or regardless of what brand or type to do a thorough investigation on stuff like this, especially if it has to do with recalls or work conducted by Dealerships. With new information about Apple intentionally slowing down phones, it would and should not surprise anyone to think that dealerships do poor work on vehicles to ensure their lifespan is as short as possible but long enough to where they can claim it was not of their doing. Everyone, please read this before thinking positively about dealerships and their "honesty".

Came in for a tire rotation and oil change, was told truck need an alignment. Took long, was told it would be quick, an was not provided with diagnostic report following alignment. Now vehicle pulls to the right, steering column is not level, and have to go back for an corrective alignment because the first was not done properly, if it was done at all.
I am a loyal customer asked for a manager to speak to and the service technician came out.
These people will rip you off they will lie to you I'll sell you a vehicle that they know is in very bad condition then we'll give you the runaround and not fix it when you bring it back stay away from them they will definitely take you for whatever they can get from you and then lie to you I am a living Testament and I have proof I will never go back to them or refer anyone else they don't deserve any *
