Not bad but not all that good either..... Hall got a little more work to do as far as customer service..... Service took far too long for what I needed done

Very helpful, when we were in a bind and our truck was being worked on in NC under warranty, they let us use a loaner for a few days. They listened, helped, and cared for us! Highly recommend!

Props to the service department. The service writers are knowledgeable and the mechanics are top notch.
The sales department is another story. The only decent salesperson is an older veteran named Jimmy. The rest of them are pretty clueless about their product or about vehicles in general.

We were able to get the right vehicle for the right price. The sales manager and service dept addressed all of our concerns and Braxton was outstanding from the moment we walked in the door all the way up to our final service needs. Great people working there!

They over charged me for an oil change, before I arrived I was told one price and that tire rotation is included in with the oil change. When I arrived I was told something else. However, I ve never had to pay for a tire rotation separately at every other Chevy dealer I ve visited. And they didn t offer to wash my car like all the other Chevys. Then they asked if I wanted a diagnostics report for $89!! Every other Chevy did that for free! I mean I m not trying to get everything for free but $89?! And the military discount was only 10%, every other Chevy offered 15%... I just feel like they are out to get your money and I definitely will not be returning to this location.

Sales rep straight up lied to me when I purchased the car. It only came with one key fob and she told me I could get replacements for free. I go to get said replacement at the service department and they have no idea what I'm talking about. I go to ask the rep, Libby, about what's going on, and she says she never said that.

Edit: thanks to the promptness and care of Nick, James, Jethro, and Brett everything was resolved (James was able to determine I purchased the Care Plus package with the car) and thanks to them especially for not just brushing me off when I complained. Between Nick, Jethro, and Brett I was able to leave with a key fob the day of service. Much appreciated.

Ryan Davidson with the service department is rude and unprofessional. My son took his car in for repairs and as we were trying to understand the bill Mr. Davidson says he is done and we need to leave. Doesn't finish explaining anything. Will not be going back if that is the kind of people they employ. Not sure when they tried to contact me, I have 1 email stating issue is "resolved". 1 email is not contacting someone.

I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was working with Mayleigh Myers. For a new salesperson she had all of her information ready to go to be able to answer any question I had. I have been a customer of Hall Chevrolet Chesapeake service department since I bought my first truck with them over ten years ago. In the last few years their service department has gone from average to terrible. I consistently drop my vehicle off for small maintenance issues and always get an early appointment yet they end up taking all day to complete even a simple oil change, sometime telling me at the end of the day they didn t have a chance to look at it and they will need to keep it over night! This has happened 3 of the last 5 times I have taken my vehicles there. They over book their appointments knowing full well they won t be able to accommodate their customers and have no sense of urgency or loyalty. I am very happy I will be moving which will be putting me closer to another Chevy dealer so I do not have to deal with Hall again. I bought my last three cars from here and I can promise you I will never purchase from this dealer again.

I had the privilege of working with Danny Peterson in Sales and Leasing, and also Nick Vendt, who is the GM of Hall Chevrolet, and also Hyundai. It was the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership. There was no unnecessary pressure, and I even left with a car that I never imagined I would be able to finance. I would recommend anyone I know, to visit one of these two dealerships before going anywhere else. My experience was amazing!

They really had my hopes up. They let me test drive a car for 5 days then said my credit wasn't good enough. I have tried 5 times with this dealer never again! Then they kept my car that I anyways keep in the garage and left it outside the hold time on top of that I had gotten my windows tinted and I left the tag saying DON'T roll down 3 to 5 days nor clean! Then took my car mats out front and say they have not seen them in had to replace them myself.The Internet specialist tell you one story and a different one when you get there. WON'T TAKE UP ANY OF MY TIME AGAIN

I have always used this service center since this is where I originally purchased my vehicle, however the last few visits I did not understand the problem. I have never been offered a loaner, always purchased a rental either at their discounted rate or full cost to me. I had service done earlier this month, and within 24 hours had to contact them again due to the same issues still arising. Everyone always seems so amazed that I have so many miles on my truck but it is almost 10 years old, I drove it the whole time. I understand things need to be serviced, and this is why I have been able to have it so long because I keep it serviced; but, find all the problems at once. It was mind blowing how many repairs I needed within a week of just having work done. No one called to update me, and when I called messages were either not relayed (according to them), or ignored (according to me). I was told a certain time frame with the estimate but it took 3 days longer. I had decided to pick my vehicle up since the work still hadn't begun after 4 days; so I called before I went and of course when I got there my truck was in the back taken apart and I wasn't able to get it. I was upset and so emotional I cried because I was over it at that point and knew now I would be stuck with this bill after this horrible run around. Before this month I would have recommended this place to everyone, but no more. This last experience has saddened me to the point I will not utilize this repair center ever again.

Stacey is a true asset to The Hall Team in the service department. I cannot say enough good things about my service experiences with these folks. I think I have much knowledge about them since I have had 5 vehicles serviced here over the years. They always meet or exceed my expeditions.
