Lance did a fantastic job. It was very difficult to get at the existing vent, he did it and it looks and works perfectly. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work.
These guys are wonderful. A few years back at 5 am and -20 degrees F, we'd noticed that our furnace stopped working. The on-call team was at the house in an hour, diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes, and had our heat on in no time. The house was freezing and I had a young child in the house, so we were grateful for their availability and helpfulness. It's going on 3 years from that day and I'm still compelled to take the time to review them since they took the time to help me when I needed them and when they were so busy they could have said, "no". I had a furnace die on me, which sucks. I had 5 companies give me quotes and almost didn't call Haley. In the past when I'd asked for quotes they always seemed high. BUT, sure glad I called them they were 700 bucks cheaper on similar quality equipment and volunteered to clean up some water lines and gas lines left over from a previous remodel. Was very happy with every step in the process. Crew was on time and professional. Will call again when a/c needs replacing.

I was converting my garage into an apartment and its the biggest project I've ever taken on; Haley Mechanical took care of the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, septic tie-in, utility hookups, and upgraded my main electrical panel. I was able to focus on doing all the finish work I wanted to do, and they took care of everything else - they went above-and-beyond, all while having to coordinate around the work I was doing and the work I'd hired other contractors to do. Showed up in the time frame as promised. Gave me a timeline 2-3 hours. That was right on. The professional installer showed up at the end and hooked up our water heater. All together we had 3 guys working on it. New heater works great! Very hot water. Removed the old one and didn't leave too much a mess. Solid pricing compared to the big Box stores. Only, only thing is one of the younger employees was a smoker and left some cig butts on the driveway. I would work with these folks again.

This place was a rip-off. I had them out to fix one item, and then the upselling started. He had to drain the water to make the fix to our furnace so I agreed to have a few (4) extra valves replaced that were corroded. I looked up the cost of the parts and they totaled to less than $100, and yet they charged me $1,150 that included about 3.5 hours of labor. They're getting two stars because the worker did quality work and was pleasant, but the price was ridiculous. Won't use them again. So I just upped this to four stars. They got back to me and gave me cash back to make up for their overcharge. They were very pleasant and we netted out at what they probably should have charged in the first place. Thanks Haley.

Another great business for nearby apartment dwellers! Especially us female types who don't have a handy guy to do the work for us. Randy was so easy to work with, we set up the day and time online and he arrived exactly when he said he would with a new window unit and had the thing installed in 20 minutes. Friendly, nice, reliable service and I very highly recommend them.
This company has been a nightmare to deal with. We purchased a home that had an open permit for a furnace they installed for the previous owner. It failed inspection prior to our purchase. We called them out to fix it the issues and for re-inspection. After a few attempts at re-inspection that didn't end up working out, we were blind sided with their team lying to the building department about our home and the renovations that were taking place. We were appauled and very displeased with this! We stated that their technicians were no longer welcome in our home for the inspection. The inspection passed this time and we thought our headache was over. Unfortunately it wasn't, and we had to have them out for a repair when our furnace stopped working last winter (2017). We had a family member at our home the day their technician came out. He left after repairing a ground wire that had come lose. This summer, we attempted to turn on our AC unit and it wouldn't work. We called another company for an inspection and found that Haley Mechanical had disconnected the condenser unit and the low voltage wires!!! The condenser unit was part of the issue with the open permit from 2016!! I reached out to then for then to fix their mistake for a final time. Shelby was very polite and understanding. The gentleman I spoke to next was also fantastic. However, we were directed back to Devin in permitting and she has been our biggest issue from the beginning. She claims they have no record of being out to our home last winter and I can pay their service call fee for someone to come out if I want it repaired. NO! I will not pay them to fix their mistake. I truly hope the owner is given my contact information, as Devin stated she would, to resolve this. They have been a nightmare to deal with thus far and I would love to be able to give the owner a chance to make this right.
I always receive great service and learn helpful information about my HVAC system. Also, they have been accommodating to my schedule when possible. I appreciate this because I can't always be present 8-5 Monday through Friday.
During the polar vortex our furnace quit (of course)! Their sales guy came out on a Saturday and they installed the new one Thursday morning (the soonest they could come). They were on time and efficient as always. They came back and installed our new AC unit a couple weeks ago and although we haven't used it yet, I'm assuming it will work perfectly. We have used Haley exclusively for almost all our home needs for the last 20 years and have been very happy with their work.

We went with a combi-boiler to replace two forty year old pieces of equipment a hydronic boiler and an electric water heater. We have seen a 25% decrease in gas usage despite it now also being responsible for producing hot water for sinks and showers too. The work was done in the time frame and price established. There was some issues with the equipment provided Haley took special care not to have it delay our installation. Post installation Haley continue to work to make sure we were satisfied a system that was new to us.
We had a fairly new water heater that started leaking on Christmas Day. We called Haley mechanical the morning after and they were out to the house within a few hours. We were prepared for the worst- having to replace it. Brandon and Austin evaluated the water heater, and determined that ours was still under warranty. They kept us informed all throughout the process and after delivery of a new water heater they installed it for us. They were extremely polite and accommodating, tidy and careful in their work. Helpful and convenient for scheduling (including a last-minute cancellation and re-schedule). Efficient but well done work, with explanations about choices needed and how things like a new faucet will work. Everything left neat and clean when the job was done. The folks at Haley Mechanical responded the same day, after a call to them about our hot water heater that had sprung a leak. That day, Dean came by, inspected our water heater and gave us a few options. We elected to have a new water heater installed. Really great company. They've done my furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, and hot water heater, and everything was done perfectly and in a timely manner. All of the technicians who have been to my house were very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and explained all of my options and were patient about it. No pressure to do anything, or trying to sell you something you don't need.
I had previously had them install a couple of new air conditioning and furnace units at my office. They are always quick to address questions or problems we have run into. Yesterday, I had them install a new AC unit at my home. After the instillation was complete they explained everything in great detail. They also gave tip on making it more efficient with the changing of seasons. I would recommend them for commercial and residential HVAC.
Haley Mechanical is extremely reliable, honest, and professional. I have been working with them for the past 5 years and have had nothing but great experiences. They provide excellent service and their prices are very reasonable. Most recently, I called them on a Sunday because my boiler heat was out (in late January with sub-zero temps). I was reluctant to have them come out on the weekend, but they wanted to send a tech, not to charge extra for a weekend trip, but to make sure they could get the parts needed for the repair as quickly as possible on Monday. Jon came out to diagnose the issue and again to finish the repair. He did an awesome job, was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the problem and answer any questions I had.

We had never deal with Haley for heating/AC system needs, but decided to hire them for the replacement of our furnace and AC units. We also really like the Lennox equipment and high ratings it gets. The Haley people were all excellent to work with. They were friendly, professional, showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves. The new furnace has worked great and seems to make the house more comfortable - as well as being much more efficient. They followed up and corrected a minor notification message problem on the thermostat. Highly recommended.

We had our 19yr old A/C fail. The technician who they sent out to evaluate the issue was fantastic. Diagnosed the problem and gave great advice. Bottom line, we needed a new AC. It took a while to get an appointment, that was partially my schedules fault. After getting a sales gentlemen out, we agreed on a price, put half down, and waited for the scheduling call. This was probably my least favorite part of the entire process. The Service, Sales, and Installation teams all maintain independent schedules with zero coordination. It took two days to get someone from installation scheduling to schedule us, and that's because I called at 3:30 on the second day to get on the schedule. It took a week from calling to get the installation scheduled to getting the new unit installed. I don't really blame them for the length of time, everyone in Michigan was turning on their AC units at the same time. The installers were fantastic. Really solid work, relocated our humidifier to prevent some issues down the line, explained everything they did, and our house is finally cool again! I would recommend these guys, just be ready to keep on top of them for scheduling.

Called for a quote and the appointment was setup promptly and on the day of the quote the estimator arrived timely, took care to follow current safety protocols and spent time to review with my all of my available options and gave me a quote on that day. After choosing Haley there install group arrived on-time both days. They took care to keep my house clean and kept me informed through the whole install process. a person whose job is to prevent or put an end to leaks. This company does not do this. We had a leaky pipe the man came out. I won't say plumber because he did not do any. Plumbing. He said it was a clogged pipe and we would have to call a professional. That will be 125 dollars. He was there for all of ten minutes he was also late. Ridiculous! I would give zero stars if I could.
My furnace went out New Years Eve day. I called Haley Mechanical that afternoon to see what could be done. I gave him the model number off my furnace and within a hour I had a quote for new furnace and installation. I was really happy with the quote and gave them the ok to proceed. I was shocked when he said they would do the install right away knowing it was a holiday. The installers were at my house by 8:00am just like I was told on the phone. They had my new furnace in place with some new duct work by noon that morning and I had heat by the time the Michigan game started. We could not be happier with the service received. Twas the day after Christmas and all through house every creature was shivering cause the heat had gone out. Then what to our wandering eye should appear but Luis from Haley with the right HVAC gear. In a mask and shoe covers to ward off the COVID, to the furnace he dashed and his van he unloaded. With great deftness and speed he confirmed our suspicions: the control board expired, failing its mission. He swapped it right out with an on-hand replacement and soon we had heat from upstairs to the basement. With a full diagnostic to finish the job, the repair was complete and our fingers were thawed. The outcome was happy, resolution was swift so we say thanks to Luis for working late shifts. If your furnace decides to chill out your guests, call Haley today, they are simply the best!
Our install team, Ken and Connor, did a great job. They were both very nice, pleasant and easy to communicate with. We were impressed with the care they took to keep our house clean while installing both an AC unit and new furnace and the cleanup after install was perfect. It was a big job that took two days but the disruption to our daily routine was very minimal. Ken and Connor were obviously experienced so everything seemed to go quickly and without a hitch. Very pleasant experience from start to finish getting a new furnace/AC. During my annual inspection Haley noticed I had a cracked heat manifold that DTE service failed to notice the week before. The estimate for a replacement was a good price compared to another highly rated local company. They gave us lots of options and were happy to answer my (many) questions. The install crew was great. They were very professional and left everything cleaner than when they arrived. The new AC is using a fraction of the energy of our old unit. We are happy with the results so far!
Thank you Haley Mechanical for quickly repairing my elderly mother's furnace last week! She was very impressed with the technician and said he was very polite and efficient. The only thing my mother did mention was the receptionist she talked to. She cannot recall her name but believes it started with a 'J,' possibly Jennifer. She said the receptionist seemed inexperienced and was unable to answer all of her questions.

I live in an apartment complex that is supported by Haley Mechanical for the difficult jobs that the standard maintenance can't handle. My AC went out the other day during the hottest part of summer and I was having difficulty scheduling a good time for them to come because I work days and my wife works nights. The 2 guys who replaced my AC unit had finished another job sooner than expected and were able to fix mine at an inconvenient for them. That is what I call good customer service. Haley is a life saver! They do great work and own any mistakes they make. My furnace was dying - the secondary heat exchanger wasn't combusting gas well enough. They came the next day to do an inspection and give me options. Coincidentally, the furnace started shutting itself off for safety that day, and the on-call tech helped me figure out how to keep it limping along for a few days. John came to estimate a new furnace for me on 2 hours notice. He gave me a lot of information and wrote up several estimates for repair and replacement. Since my heater was on its last legs, he brought me 2 space heaters and wrote up my estimates the same day. Two people came to install my new furnace. They did it in 8 hours, and walked me through everything at the end. This wasn't just an installation - they replumbed my vent and intake, secured my sagging air ducts, ran a new, grounded wire to the fuse box, and installed a new thermostat. I couldn't be happier. I will be calling them when my Air Conditioner dies!
