Nice place, sound and lighting were both decent, and it's theater in the round, which can add demention to a play when done right. I went to see the nerd, the play it's self wasn't my favorite, but the actors and the set design were good.

Amazing! The play was great, the room was beautiful and the staff was kind and attentive. Overall a very lovely evening!

We saw "A Christmas Carol." It was my first show here and I loved it so much! I will be excited to go back. We went on a tour here with our ZAP pass in the summer and it was really cool to see a show here after learning all that goes into the shows.

Just saw Phantom of the Opera. Such beautiful singing and amazing acting!!!

The facility is really nice. I was surprised the seating wasn't larger, seems to fit 800-900 seats so there is not a bad seat at all. The Hunchback of Notre Dame was great, two and a half hours and it went by very fast. My wife loved it so I give it 5 stars.

Hale Theatre is amazing. We go every year to see A Christmas Carol and they always do a fantastic job. The light, sound, and stage effects are great for all ages and the actors are talented. I highly recommend.

My wife and I saw Aida and Simply Plaid here around the time of the grand opening. What great shows. I was blown away the first time I saw the stage change in the theater of the round. If you aren't a regular, you're missing out.

Watched The Tale of Two Cities. Fantastic venue and great performance.

A co. Had rented out the whole place for happy hour and dinner. We were sold tickets for that night but were denied drinks, food, or anything until the company party was over. My husband and I had almost fallen asleep. We were allowed to buy from tables set up onstage and the show was over a half hour later. I really expected more from the Hale. #disappointed

This flat stage blew my mind with how they set up the stage and props! Incredible way to get the audience's attention and play to the crowd all around you!

They put on a great show. I took my kids to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The cast was really top quality. The theater in the round povided a great view for every seat (the cast occasionally interacted with the front row. The value is incredible with your tickets for $17.

First time in New theater. I really like the round set up of the stage. Very good props.

Nice venue, however, we ran into some technical issues with audio that the IT guys couldn't figure out, which put a crimp in our plans. Other than that, very accommodating and helpful.

Parking terrace is a little slow to get in. Consider parking across the street at Sandy City Hall, if it is still legal.

Hale Center Theatre is a treasure. The venue itself is top notch. The productions are many and varied, and from the production design to costumes and props to the performances themselves, it's all done so professionally. It's great to have a sound system where you can actually hear the actors. Most importantly it's entertaining. A Christmas Carol last night was fantastic.

The sets here are always absolutely incredible. Every day we have gone to has been done very well. The parking garage is well designed and we are able to get out easily even with hundreds of people leaving the building g at the same time.

I love Hale Centre Theatre, they always have the best shows and the greatest atmosphere ever, it's so welcoming as soon as you walk through the doors!

Even with the coronavirus going on it was a wonderful experience. 'Bright Star' was fun and a a very moving Musical. One of my favorites now. The cast was terrific and the Jewel Box Theater was very nice and I felt comfortable with the safety precautions in place.

I attended "A Christmas Carol" recently. My mind was absolutely blown! The cast, The set, the special effects and all in an intimate theater setting just boggles my mind. I can't wait to go again!

Fantastic stage and amazing acting talent. I will absolutely be back for another show! Parking can be tricky, hopefully it will get more smooth as they adjust to the flow of people coming in and out of the new parking tower on back to back weekend shows.

Definitely my favorite place to see a show in Utah! Hale Center Theatre does an amazing job. We recently went to see the play that goes wrong and it was hysterical. If you ever have time or get the chance to come here do it!!! You will not regret it!

Both thr jewelry box and the main theatre are amazing and one of a kind. As a business model I think they should also include a shadow puppet theatre. I believe they can make a fortune, but then again those are just projected figures.

The new venue is amazing! First visit was to see forever plaid in the Jewel box a few weeks ago. Tonight we went to Aida in the Main stage, all I can say is that you are in for a wonderful treat. We are so lucky to have this type of venue here. I am excited for many years of entertainment to come!

The Hale Center is absolutely out of this world. You have to see it to believe it!

This is probably one of these places that don't need an online review because it is already well known to put on quality productions. I recently was able to go to the production of Suessical on the main stage (Round stage) and it was done extremely well. My 2 daughters were mesmerized by all the colors and activity on and above the stage. Prior to this visit, my wife and I had only been to performances at the Jewel Box theater (traditional stage). All of the performances we have seen have been done extremely well. I would love to go to more of these shows, but the ticket prices are a bit too high for me and my family. Considering they get $1 million dollars a year from Utah through the Zoo Arts and Parks (ZAP) you would hope that the ticket prices were more affordable to the common man.
Do I recommend a visit to Hale Centre Theatre (HCT): YES!
Do I think it is expensive: Yes!

An absolute superb experience! Parking is a breeze. The only thing missing is the antiques, but I can appreciate a new age theatre.

I m not really a theatre buff, so I wasn t expecting much (maybe a nap?). Boy was I in for a surprise.

This place is amazing. My wife and I saw Scarlet Pimpernel, and I was floored. The quality of the actors/actresses was great, but it was the sets that stole the show. It s theatre in the round, which means that the audience sits in chairs 360 degrees around the performers. In order to switch sets, the theater literally lifts them up from beneath the floor or lowers them from the ceiling. It was incredible.

I ve only been to the one production, so don t weigh my opinion too heavily, but it was fabulous, and I d totally go again.

Such an awesome space for this city. I saw Mitilda and their sets, costumes, and effects are on a professional level. I had a hard time understanding the lyrics because of the acoustics/fast british accents/children performers. Always family friendly stuff.

What a lovely new theatre! I was skeptical when I saw the size of the stage (and I haven t seen many plays in the round) but they did a magical job bringing set pieces up and down and all around (although they may have relied on the spinning feature a little too much). I watched a musical (The Scarlet Pimpernel) and missed a live orchestra pit, but the performances and costuming were amazing.

It was a great time I shared with son, mom and dad. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing. The building is beautiful and the sets on stage are gorgeous. They have staff to help you find your way. Plenty of parking with directions on how to walk to the theater after you ve parked. Bathrooms are clean. We watched The Play That Goes Wrong. Highly recommend if you re looking for a comedy. Hardest I ve laughed in a long time.

As I was driving home from seeing Peter and the Starcatcher, I thought how blessed I had been in my life to direct plays and share the theatre with wonderful audiences as a patron. I have seen Broadway plays, professional casts, college performances that were outstanding. However, I think today's Starcatcher is at the top of my list. Such amazing energy, honest and believable humor, costumes that were symbolic of characters and lines, and an ensemble of talent like I have never seen. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This place is a wonderful monument to the Hale name. Everything about it is bigger and more amazing with elegance and world class just oozing from it. My wife and I enjoyed the production of An American in Paris. I think the seating could be a little more comfortable but other than that, it was a great experience.

First class performances at beautiful theater in the round.

Watched a dress rehearsal of Cinderella and it was amazing.

The new theater is so nice! We saw Newsies there and we were pretty high up but we could still see everything perfectly. Unsurprisingly, the show was great, and the ushers were friendly and efficient. We parked across the street in the large lot which wasn t a long walk at all and getting out of the parking lot after the show was a breeze. I can t wait to come back for scarlet pimpernel.

Great experience. The new theatre is beautiful and extravagant. The productions are out of this world with their new stage and surrounding televisions to give an unforgettable performance.

Very nice facilities. The seats in the larger theater are bigger than the seats in the West Jordan location. This means that you can watch the play in comfort without bumping your neighbors. The stage, and performers are incredible and I wouldn't hesitate to watch any play here.

Much better than I thought it was going to be. It was a very good show, they are great performers, and the amount of stuff they can do on those stages with switching back and forth is amazing.

Beautiful theater venue in Sandy, Utah. Excellent covered parking facilities Seating is comfortable and from what I can tell, there are no bad seats in either the Jewel Box Theater or the Main Theater. Small but nice concession stand for simple theater treats which you're allowed to take into the theater. Have enjoyed all the plays we've seen. Wonderful, talented individuals perform here.

We saw Tarzan the recently.

They really brought the story to life. Great performances! Acrobatics- pretty good! Singing- amazing! Choreography- phenomenal! Set design- out of this world!!
I did however feel bad for the cast. Due to the lack of audience, the cast didn't get as much audience participation/reactions.

Due to the virus that shall not be named, masks were required. Groups were not sitting by other groups and there were rows absent to make sure that everyone had their distance. They did there best to make everyone feel safe. If you were wondering, the performers did not wear masks.

It was still an amazing experience!!

Such a beautiful place to watch absolutely gifted men and women! Not a bad seat in the building.

HCT is a fantastic establishment in the Sandy area. They bring big name plays to a wonderful stage in the round. You can't get a better place for seeing a lot of plays they bring to the house.

Most recently I saw An American in Paris. I won't lie, not my type of play. I am looking forward to The Addams Family later this year.

The plays are always amazing to watch! Whether you are in the Jewel Box (a smaller; not in the round) or the Centre Stage (bigger, theater in the round).

I am constantly amazed by how the team at HCT uses the theater to their advantage. Once they had an almost full size airplane hidden in the rafters and lowered during the play.

Watching the floor drop and rise is always exciting. You just never know where the director or floor team is going to bring out the next trick.

HCT always has extra tickets too, so get some to the next play and come join the family of cultured folks in Sandy

I love going to plays here, the moving stage is very neat to see.
