I'm constantly baffled why there aren't more Salt Lakers who make it a priority to see the Saturday's Voyeur show each year. Think Mormons are really nice but kinda weird? Confused about Utah liquor laws? This is your show. The tickets to all their shows are very reasonably priced. Plus....wait for it....you can bring your own snack and wine/beer into the intimate theater with YOU! Put some pants on, open the blinds, stop reading this review and buy a damn ticket.

SLAC is amazing. We have been subscribers for the past few years and couldn't be happier! They are not afraid of taking on the plays that ask tough questions and walk the line between what is and what should be socially acceptable.

If you're mortality is aligned with that of the predominant religion of the state or you are easily offended you may want to avoid this place, but if you have an open mind and feel that people should be able to make their own choices this is the perfect place to see some wonderful acting and thought provoking plays.

If you have kids also be sure to attend their Christmas plays. They are absolutely the best.

SLAC is an off the beaten path theater gem for the SLC community. We've only been going for about 10 years but everything we've seen and experienced has been terrific and incredibly entertaining. We're very thankful for SLAC and all that it offers and will continue to support them!

We saw a show here over the holidays and it was great! The building is older and nothing to really speak about, but it's obvious the people who perform here and those that are working behind the scenes, love this place. The love for this place shows in their performances. If you have the opportunity to watch a show here, do it. You'll be glad you did!

Hilarious! Had a great time with my husband and MIL. You are allowed to bring in your own food and can have yourself a little picnic during the show. Warning: Don't go see Saturday's Voyuer if you are easily offended.

If ever a review deserved zero stars, it would be this place!

Visited to watch Saturday s Voyeur.. The script and story are so fragmented and disjointed, it s hard to follow. The anti-American sentiment was unending and scripted cussing for reactive humor was intolerable. Imagine school children saying fart over and over and laughing at their own joke and you ll have a good idea of how great this will be for you.

Local theater company featuring a wide range of staged performances, including many new works from local and national playwrights. Professional, creative, and popular. A wonderful part of SLC's arts scene.

What a fun, interactive, super positive experience for the family. You can bring in your own food and treats. Loved the glitter, bubbles, and clapping along with the songs. If you love bubbles, make sure to sit on the front row. The casts' Q & A part at the end was great. I liked how small the venue was because every seat was a good one.

To be honest, I went to the theater to audition for a show...

It's been a minute since I've done a theatrical production... So my nerves? High. Not the fun 420 high.. Unless you mean that "after moment" of paranoia that one can feel after a 420 high... That's more where I was...

That said, I can't tell you how refreshing it was to meet the lovely Natalie that eased any and every type of nerve that I had built up..

I then fumbled my way into the audition room and met with Cassie, Al and Cynthia.. Sang a version of "moving too fast..." That sounded similar to a record playing in a vehicle on a very bumpy dirt road.. Then rolled around on the ground pretending to yoga and at the same time begging them all to LIKE ME..

They were kind, professional, and just wonderful people. The best part? The whole encounter ended up feeling quite refreshing.

I appreciate SLAC for that! Thanks for allowing me to make a fool of myself... And feel great about it!

Y'all are just wonderful..

If you are not attending this theatre you are missing out! This is the best theatre in Utah, hands down. You will walk away from every performance feeling challenged and engaged. The plays are thought provoking and fresh. Treat yourself and give SLAC a try, you will not regret it!!

One of the best theatre companies to catch professionally done dramas and plays throughout the year. It is a great, intimate space, and I have never been disappointed. This is the best place of theatre around.

The Salt Lake Acting Company is a theatre that produces quality productions for a reasonable price. With a unique seating arrangement, uncommon season, and friendly staff, this theatre provides top tier entertainment. Talent is undeniable in each production. Parking, concessions(?), and bathrooms are all vexatious. Overall high quality productions.
