So I really didn t want to post this because I ve ...

So I really didn t want to post this because I ve never been the kind of person to complain and I understand that these places get busy during rush hour but the more I think about it the more it gets me mad.. the only reason I m giving them ONE star is because the man that helped me was kind the whole time. I wish I could remember his name but I don t. I took my car in because it was making a weird clicking noise and I wanted to get it checked , also for an oil change. When I pulled in everybody looked at me and didn t approach me right away (cool, I get it. Y all are busy) it doesn t bother me. But when you look at me nine times and you see I m waiting It s common courtesy to ask if I ve been helped. I shouldn t have to ask around for someone who can help me. Luckily the guy came up to me (tall white guy with glasses) and asked if I ve been helped after standing there for 5 min. So I tell him what I needed and he was very understanding. He did tell me it was gonna take about an hour and a half. And I said it was okay. I got to the waiting area to wait for my car and 4 HOURS later he finally came up to me and told me the oil change is done but the mechanic can t find the noise. 4 HOURS! think about that for a second. He was nice but I wish they had the common courtesy to tell me it was gonna take ALOT longer than An hour and a half. there was no sense of urgency. My appointment was for 11:30 I didn t leave till about 4:30 I ended having to take the mechanic who was also a cool guy on a test drive so he could hear the noise. I was able to show him the noise, he brought it back and told me to go wait AGAIN in the room. They bring me to the back to show me what it was after another 30 min of waiting to tell me it was just a bent plate. I literally had to just bend it back out. But by then he had already spent at least 2 and a half hours doing my oil change and checking what the problem was. (Given that hour and a half leeway he gave me). So I ask him if I ll still be charged the $125 if it s something as simple as bending a plate back to normal. They ended up charging me for it and I paid the $125 plus whatever the oil change was. The guy and mechanic tried hard to get them to wave it but they weren t budging. The Customer service is terrible. I don t even want to get into the VEP (vehicle enhancement program) guy who essentially tried to bribe me into a new car. Told me he already took the stickers off the car and had the yellow folder in hand and we hadn t even talked business or anything. He was so eager to get me into a brand new car paying more and they didn t offer GAP insurance. But that s not the first bad experience I ve had with them. I don t blame the workers. But something has to change. I m a very laid back person but this place really knows how to get under my skin. If you don t have to go. Dont. It s not worth the headache

I took my car for its first ever oil change/service to Gwinnett Place Honda this past week and was very pleased with the amount of time it took and the cost of the service. I was fully informed upfront by Rudy and it was actually slightly lower cost than he had anticipated which is always a good thing. The waiting area is very comfortable with Wi-Fi and refreshments and it went by quite quickly. I will definitely be returning for future service on my Honda Civic.

First off I want to start with how in love I am in love with my 2017 Honda Accord! All thanks to Lorenzo!!! He did such a great job with finding a car that fit my style. He definitely went above and beyond to give us the VIP treatment. He took us to their inventory and found the last 2017 touring. You really did Awesome Lorenzo, thank you so much. In need off a great sales representative, Lorenzo is your person! Mike also helped us out in getting a great deal on our car. He was really nice and really patient with us. He kept his word in all we discussed and even helped us out with a reasonable pay! Honestly I've been to 2 different honda dealerships and they don't compare to the top notch customer service/experience they give you. You will walk out happy and at peace with a brand new car just like I did! Highly recommended this Gwinnett Place Honda. All of them must be great, if this two were pretty awesome!!!

We purchased a 2020 Honda Fit from Gwinnett Place Honda last month. The customer service was great and the Sales Consultant Nicolas was very helpful and straight forward with the price which made me choose to purchase it from here. After purchasing the vehicle, I was notified by this dealership that the customer was responsible for purchasing or transferring the tag at their local tag office. This was new to me since other dealerships I have dealt with in the past have handled purchasing or transferring the tag at the time of purchase and the tag is mailed to me. Not sure why you guys, Gwinnet Place Honda, do not do it but this was a Big inconvenience for me as a customer going to my local tag office to purchase my tag. Sorry, I will not be purchasing another vehicle for here or refer a friend until that policy has change.

Jean, who is my service adviser, ALWAYS takes care of my needs without all the sugar coating. She always is helpful and lets me talk to the tech to inspect work being done to my vehicle. Please pay careful attention to the google places reviews on this dealer because they are very consistent with the way I was treated by the people at this dealership yesterday. I would never recommend going this dealer because as dishonest and manipulative as they are it's not even worth the lint in your pocket. They played mind games with me the whole time and used every evil sales person tactic in the book. This dealer is open til 9pm and I believe they do this so they can keep you there 2 hours later hoping you'll just get tired and buy. I almost purchased a car and when I changed my mind at the end of the night they treated me like I was a horrible person and said they stayed so late for me giving me a sob story about their families waiting at home for them. I don't know how these people live with themselves. And I don't know why they want to make a sale so bad that they would treat people this way, but the reality is that there are some very slimy people out there and they usually find each other and work together for the greater bad. DO NOT CHOOSE GWINNETT PLACE HONDA. Find a dealer who gets consistently better reviews and ask around about the reputation of the dealer you are buying from.

Bought a car from here in 2014 and they told me the CARFAX was clean and no accidents. Recently sold that same car and saw the CARFAX had 3 accidents, 2 of which included frame damage to the car. Needless to say, barely got any money for the car. Do not buy from here.... scummy.

First would like to state a very professional service provided by Jae last Friday Sept. 14, 2012. The mechanic that performed work on my civic did an excellent job. I am a mechanic and I know what an excellent job is.

I wish to also state that the professional service was extended today to me by Mike was excellent on the Honda Odysse minivan.

ees. HENDRICKS HONDA AKA HONDA OF GWINNETT PLACE, charge approx $153 each to address each concern. Usually with all my othrr visits to any honda dealership across the country its Ine diagnostic fee per visit, I guess this is a sure way making revenue. I was servicing all my vehicle with Hendrick automotive group. I have a Toyota, a dodge, a Lexus rx450h, and this vehicle a Honda which i will now be search for new service provider not facilitate with Hendrick. Or Gwinnett place honda

I have purchased several vehicles over the year from other dealerships, but my experience with Gwinnett Place Honda is by far the very best. Customer service is second to none. My awesome sales rep was Maury and he was unlike any other car salesman I've dealt with in the past...he was low keyed, respectful and most of all, he listened. Chad in Finance was awesome as well. I would recommend those two to all my friends looking for a vehicle.

Zachary took care of my service nut O had to tske the car back three days later because the yire light was on and stayed on despite affitional sor added. Zach checked snd recalibrated stated that everything should be ok. The next day I was back for the same thing this time the agent was Tymon Dodson, a very pleasant young man who took the car to the back to ensure that the service person cheked for leaks which was not found. The next day the same thing happened, Mr Dodson did hi e me his card stating if it happened to bring it back , which it did and as a medical person, I felt thechevk should be more thorough, the service person told me he vleared the computer and evermilk mlything should be okay now, not so, the light came back I did call Tymon and took the car back this time I wanted a more thorough check done and low and behold. the issue was a wheel bearings. Thanks to my persistence and the great service offered by Tymon. I think each time I take my car for service I will certainly ask for him.

I pulled into their shop in a panic when my oil light suddenly flashed red in my Honda CRV. I had had my oil changed a day prior at the John's Creek Pep-Boys. The "mechanics" there did not put in new oil back in my car. Honda Gwinnett took me right away, checked for oil leaks, checked for damage (because I was driving my car around with no oil), filled me up and and sent me on my way free of charge. I really can't thank you guys enough.

Trevin and the entire Honda staff took very good care of me and my car. They identified that awful sound under my hood, saw that it was covered under my warranty and he made sure that nothing else needed to be replaced (because my warranty is 4,000 miles from expiring). They put me in a rental and made sure everything was ok. I love getting my car serviced there. So much so that I will continue to buy my cars there so that I may continue to experience their excellent customer service.

Completely and utterly disappointed in the staff and how they do business. The finance manager Albert and salesman Delavan promised me a deal, and I rode off the car lot ecstatic thinking I had a great deal. They even put a red bow on the car for me to take pictures with my brand new car. I ve posted those pictures on social media and have gotten everyone congratulating me on my new purchase. A couple of people I know are in the market for a car and asked me for their info. Now, humiliated and all I have to let them know my situation and tell them not to proceed because those associates have contacted me a week later after having my car, asking for $1500 to $3500 more dollars because they made a deal with me and did not disclose it was not approved with the bank. In fact, the bank had not even reviewed the deal. They made it seem as if the deal was mine and I was fine to ride off the lot. So now I either have to turn the car in or come up with $1500- $3500 more dollars. I would absolutely not recommend this place or those people to anyone. They need to learn better business practices. Had I known this, I would ve waited and saved just an extra $500 and went to Toyota where the deal was actually reviewed and approved. However, Honda told me they could work with what I had. Now I have to turn the car in and wait for a refund, be without a car for a week, and go to Toyota like I should ve done in the first place.

Do yourself a favor, Shop around before you go here. There are other dealers that can beat their prices by several hundred dollars. A friend of mine was looking for a 2016 honda pilot Touring. The final price here was 44,683. She went to Curry and the got it down to 43,800. This dealer would not work with her. The pilot she got was the exact same one with all the extras installed by dealer. The sales manager here was unwilling to work with the price. The Sales associated that helped was great, his supervisor was great, but the manager had no regard to what the customer wanted. The three stars are for the sales associates and his supervisor.

I always love going to Gwinnett Pl., Honda when my car has some sort of recall. The way they treat you from the moment you arrive, the waiting room, the free car wash and proximity to Enterprise (if you need it)- it's just great. Of course they are dealership, so you do have to take what they tell you about the condition of your car with a grain of salt. What I mean is, when I tell you that there are areas for repair for your car- that you did not come in for- get a second opinion. Other than that their service is top notch! I've never had any issues with any of the recall repairs that they have done I'd recommend them!

UPDATE 5-17-18
My DH (in this case "Dear Honda") had a piece of trim from the roof come off at the car wash. [It's a 2002- what are you gonna do but laugh at this!] Sadly, I did not notice it until an hour or so later. Since we were forecast to get a solid week of rain, I wanted to replace this quickly to avoid 'water issues.' Everywhere I looked online, the part was sold out. So I called GPH and they could get me the part by 8am the next day if I placed my order by 3. Eric (Enrique) was FANTASTIC and patient with me being a spazz about getting him my CC info to order the part. He handled it like a boss and submitted my order within the time window. He even sent me an email to let me know.

Next day, I show up at 8:05 and check in with Brandon. Brandon was also very kind and professional. He found my part and then told me I had to pay for labor (which I'd forgotten about.) For peace of mind, it was worth it! Since I knew the installation was simple and had recently picked up some new headlights, I asked Brandon if his colleagues could install them for me as well. (For the labor cost per hour, I knew this would be a breeze in their expert hands. I felt like I was getting even more for my money.) Brandon and the Service team had my car ready to go a bit before 8:30am!!! [This was a Tuesday morning, folks.] Well worth the drive to go out of my way from Sandy Springs to Duluth. **I would upgrade my review from 4 to 5 stars, if I could!**

We purchased the GOLD WARRANTY and it is supposed to cover everything. My wife's CRV seems to have developed a leak in her roof we went to the dealership and they had every excuse not to fix it. Apparently it is the managers discretion to cover or not cover it. Needless to say DON'T waste your time purchasing additional warranty.

I want to thank Joseph Snover and Gwinnett Honda for there outstanding service

Well i got a very good service and assistance from mr. Rudy Russo on Saturday 8th of July.
He provided me with multipoint inspection . We discovered issues with brakes and steering pump. These are safety issues that are costly. He definitively assists with explanation how these are serious safty concerns and help with discount to get it done.

I am a Chinese American. I am very satisfied with the service now. It takes about an hour to complete the oil change every time. But I have to talk about it in 2014. I bought a 2013 Honda Civic ex (white) at this dealership and drove about 30,000 mai. I found that the air conditioner didn't produce cold wind. I went to the car shop to check and it took me about 10 hours to wait for the car. An old Mo received me. I forgot my name. I told him why. He says. It takes a few hours. I said I could wait here. It doesn't matter. The time was around 8 am. I waited until two o'clock in the afternoon and I went to see my car. Find the man. He said he was checking. But I know that I saw him driving my car outside and left it there without moving. I went to their manager and I said I came at 8 in the morning. The car has not been checked so far. The manager immediately followed me to find the agent. Explain the situation. Then immediately find someone to check. Then I waited until five in the afternoon. I went to see my car again. Then the agent said sorry. Your car won't go away. I have removed some accessories. I can't fix it today. Then tell me to find a way to go home. We do not provide free cars. Then I said that I did not repair the car. He said he could not drive without repairing. It will be possible during the day tomorrow. Then he told me there are companies that rent cars in the courtyard. I just rented the car and drove back. I remember it was more than 6 o'clock in the evening. I am from eight in the morning. Stayed in the car until six o'clock in the evening. Why did you keep me waiting so long? Why not ask someone to check it early. Why the car was left outside for four hours without checking. Why is there no free car to drive. When you first drove, you said to provide free cars. Is it because they are Chinese? Is it racial discrimination? money is not the problem. Things must be done well. I wrote a Chinese article to read this article. Hope everyone can see

Andy was amazing. He walked me through what needed to be done and explained how often I should get maintenance on the different parts of my car. I recently bought my car and hadn t driven much since the pandemic so I was unaware of the mileage maintenance at 60k. I was going to pay for it to get done, but Andy made sure that it was completed at the time I bought the car. I m very appreciative that he went above and beyond to do that. I recommend that everyone goes to see Andy, if they get the chance.

If I could give Gwinnett Place Honda zero stars then I would. Never in my life have I seen a more unprofessional, misogynistic, disrespectful staff. Firstly my mom travelled over 2.5 hours to get here because of the deals she had been told over email that she would get. When we began to look at the cars that they had discussed and they were not cleaned. There was pine straw under the seats and all over the floor, and hand fills of sand in the trunk of the car! There was a stain along the roof where the sun roof was located, which made my mother concerned about a leak. She kindly expressed her concerns and asked if we could run water over the roof to make sure there wasn't a leak; and there wasn't. She then decided she wanted to buy the car. She sat down to discuss the car and listened to the salesman about the prices and fees. She then calmly told the man her concerns and said she would buy the car for a certain price, extremely reasonable price . He laughed inher face and said absolutely not, she calmly asked him to get the salesmanager. The sales manager came over and was extremely hostile and immediately told her she didn't understand how they do business, and she again told him her concerns with the vehicle and gave him a higher offer that she would be comfortable paying. He raised his voice with her and was extremely rude. She told him thank you for your time and walked out the door.

I am speechless by the way these men have treated her. DO NOT do business here unless you want to be yelled at, and treated with disrespect.

My husband and I just had a great experience with Gwinnett Place Honda. After searching a little on their website, I was immediately contacted by Marcelin Holloway, who kept in contact with me in regards to the Odyssey we were looking for. On the day we were supposed to go and look at the Odyssey, we were running a little behind, but Marcelin kept in contact with us throughout the morning and held on the keys so that no one else could sell the car before we got there. As a female with little knowledge about car maintenance, it's a big deal to find an auto repair shop that you can trust. With Jeffrey, I know I will always get courteous and expeditious service. Took my car for an airbag recall today, took pretty long, but that s not what I m complaining about. Got my car back and notice grease/oil stains inside on the ceiling where they removed the panel to access the side airbags in the rear. Kinda messed up that I have to clean up after a professional. Also, airbag light is still on after the fix and I m already at home. I knew that if I waited for them to get to it, it would ve taken even longer since by the time I got my car back, it was during their peak time. Another thing to note was that they checked my battery and said it was bad and needed to be replaced. I ve had it checked at another place and the battery passed all test.
