I tend to go to Carey Paul Honda in Snellville but I was in the area with work so I stopped by for a quick service to get a recall on my vehicle taken care of. When I arrived service advisor My Nguyen quickly greeted me and took care of my needs. She was quick with the communication, paperwork and service all together. I most definitely will return and recommend the dealership to others. Thank you Gwinnett Place Honda.

I took my 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite in for its 15K oil change and troubleshooting on the entertainment system. There has been a variety of issues (popping speakers, TV won t work, Bluetooth phone calls drop, rear cabin camera would freeze) since 7,000 miles. I dropped off the car with my maintenance rep, Courvoisier, who noted all the issues. Honda gave me a rental to take home. Two hours later Courvoisier called back saying that the car was ready. He did his research, talking with the manager and learning about the issues my vehicle was having, something common in 2018 and 2019 Odyssey s. He clearly explained what was known of the issues, how it was fixed (tightening connections), and the next steps if that didn t fix it (new infotainment system). I really appreciated his clear instructions. Luckily one week later the issues appear to be fully resolved. It sucked having the issues with a new vehicle, but Gwinnett Place Honda Service Center took good care of me.

Most of all, I value their excellent customer service; I had a budget and a needs list; they honored both. I normally don t write reviews because all of my past experiences with car purchases were less than favorable. To my amazement, I finally met a sales consultant that is deserving of recognition. I came to the dealership to inquire about new car specials and with the help of Ms. Chinenye Okafor, I drove off in my new Honda Civic. She was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and the most patient consultant I ve ever worked with. It was a please doing business with Gwinnett Place Honda. Thank you Ms. Okafor for making what is normally a stressful process for me a happy one.

Charles Kim was great! He let me weigh all of my options with no pressure. and the finance person (can't remember name) didn't push any extra services or products on me. They let me choose only what I needed and wanted and I left very happy with the exact car I wanted at a fantastic rate.

I have to say my experience her was AWESOME SAUCE. When I say Mr.Richard put in his footwork he worked it out for me. Mr.Joseph Snover was awesome as well I appreciate it. I have me an AWESOME 2013 Honda Civic with excellent miles and a nice warranty without a high down payment and my payments are exactly want I wanted!!! You guys should definitely CHECK them OUT. My husband and I went in on Saturday the 9th car shopping. I had spoke on the phone days before to Joseph Shin. So I thought we was just car shopping and had no idea I was gonna leave with a beautiful black Honda Civic Ex. My sales man was Rob Glen and I can't say enough good things about him. He was the best hands down. He took care of us and wasn't pushy. He showed us the car from top to bottom inside and out. We had a great experience with Gwinnett place Honda. Joseph Shin the sales manager came by and made sure we was happy and we was being taken care of properly. He was really nice and polite. When you go to Gwinnett Place Honda make sure to ask for these 2 they are a terrific team who will get the job done and make sure you leave happy. Also Angel Pacheco was great she was the personal accessories specialist. She was really nice and polite. Then my fiance man was Charles Noh. We finished up the night with him he was great and made us comfortable and tried to get us done as quickly as possible. He was also very nice and polite. This was our first experience with Gwinnett Place Honda but hopefully not the last.

Service crew haggles price. Our past 3 trips have required a return visit to correct something. The body shop forgot our antanae, the service shop charged us for new wiper blades they did not install. Very poor service, especially considering the price.

GP Honda is a delightful place to do business, and I don't say that lightly, since dealing with car dealerships prior to my experience with them was anything but pleasant. I have been buying cars from them since 1990, and began using them exclusively for service around 2000. While my buying experience has been good, this review is about the service department. I have used Rick Zarpentine as my advisor for about four years. He is extremely professional, yet treats you as a best friend. He takes care of his customers completely. In May, I took my 2011 CRV in for service and he suggested I leave it with them until the airbag recall parts were delivered and my car could be repaired. They provided me with a rental car for two months. The work was completed today and my car was returned to me. However, in doing some routine maintenance, a problem with the power steering unit was discovered. Because there was no evidence of a problem at the time I left the car, he and his service manager, Kam Cheung, were willing to work with me in resolving the problem. Both gentlemen went above and beyond normal customer service so that the unit was repaired without a huge cost to me. I have always trusted the Service Department, and in particular Rick, but now I am devoted more than ever. These are dedicated professionals whom I would highly recommend to everyone I know and to all who read these reviews.

Drove my wife' 2017 odyssey from texas to atlanta, smooth ride. Had service here a few months ago with tire rotation and balance. She drives on local roads only and never drives high speeds. When I finally drove this car down to Orlando for vacation on the highways, I noticed the car vibrating and shaking with the steering wheel pretty bad. Honda dealership in Orlando explain that they never balanced the tires in Atlanta (photo below). 10G/10G off front left. 55g/40g front right, 20g/0g rear left. 0g/0g rear right. Balanced in FL.
Then back in Atlanta, they kept trying to make excuse after excuse saying, "well how do we now the issue occured before or after the rotation?" Or they would say that, "well a weight came off the wheel". SO you're telling me multiple wheels had balances fall off after service here, not just one wheel?? I only gave an extra star review because in the end they could only give me a credit back for the next service here, with no apology.

I had a great experience getting some warranty work done on my vehicle at this locations service department. I ve been here before and have seen/heard discrepancies from other advisors. I was beginning to not trust bringing my vehicle here and became skeptical of the service advisors. This time, my service advisor was Andy Prucha and he changed the way I see the service department completely. He s polite, informative, straight forward, and does not cut corners with diagnosis. He handled everything quickly and efficiently and I couldn t be more thankful, thank you so much!

My car tints had bubbles so I went in to get it fixed. They said that it was going to take 2 to 3 hours so I left my car around 11 and went back 2pm to pick it up and it wasn't ready so I waited till 5ish to get my car. They had more than enough hours to do the tinting but I still had bubbles as well scratches. They told me that it will go away after 2 to 3 days, so I have gave some time. I still see the bubbles.
I usually don't get my days off to visit the service center so I have called one the the guy that worked on my car to make an appointment. However he didn't pick up his phone so I left a voice mail about a week ago saying call me back when he hears the mail but I haven't heard anything from them.

Yesterday my wife and I purchased our 20th vehicle, a 2017 Honda Ridgeline from Gwinnett Place Honda in Duluth, GA. I have never written a review for a dealership, but our experience was so special that I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the team that made this the best car buying experience that we have ever had. We had made the decision to trade in our 2008 Jeep for a more versatile mid-size truck. We had been out of the auto market for 9 years, and knew that we had a lot to catch up on. I spent a couple of weeks researching vehicles, dealers and inventories, and started communicating directly with a handful of select dealers based on their in-stock vehicles and the number and quality of their online reviews. One of these dealers was Gwinnett Place Honda in Duluth, where we wanted to check out the 2017 Honda Ridgeline. So I contacted Zach Blanchard, one of the dealership s Internet sales representatives, and set up an appointment to check out the vehicle. In all my communications with Zach on email, phone and text, he was always responsive, courteous and helpful. When we arrived at the dealership for our session, Zach immediately met us. We did not have to go find him or ask for him he was outside waiting for us. We spent the next hour or so with Zach learning about the Ridgeline and test-driving it. Zach was just the right kind of professional you hope to get. He knew everything there was to know about the Ridgeline RTL-T and was clearly excited to share that knowledge and excitement with us. He walked us through all the new technologies and features that had been incorporated into the vehicle and patiently explained everything clearly to us. We were very impressed with his respectful approach, friendliness, enthusiasm for the products he was representing, complete professionalism, and above all, the fact that he did not pressure us at any point in our meeting.

We had no intention of purchasing a vehicle that day. But as we talked about the various levels of trim, options, capabilities and price points, it became clear that the vehicle he showed us was actually a near perfect fit for what we wanted, a great balance between features and cost. Zach worked the appraisal of our trade in, and worked with his management team to create a deal that was a win-win for all of us. Based on his work, we made the buy decision, then, we spent time with Angele Pacheco who walked us through all the additional options we could consider before handing us off to Marquis Taylor, the finance manager who finished the purchase process. These three made it as easy as buying any vehicle can ever be!

Buying a car can be a very daunting experience. It takes a lot of time even if you are prepared, and it matters how the dealership treats you during the lengthy process. Gwinnett Place Honda gets it! The showroom floor is spotless, the restrooms are clean, Starbuck s Coffee is provided free of charge, and customers are treated as guests. It s just a nice place to do business. So I will end where I began by stating that this 20th vehicle purchase was our best experience ever at any dealership, and that is a tribute to the management and the employees who work there. These days, customers are better prepared than ever, and they have more options to consider. Our business must be earned, and that is exactly what Zach and the Gwinnett Place Honda team did - they earned our trust and respect, and ultimately, our business. This is a five star dealership, and worth your consideration if you are ever in the market for a new quality vehicle! And if you go there, ask for Zach!

I dropped my car off for an oil change, tire rotation and some other services. The service was completed in a timely manner. When I returned to pick up my car I experienced a problem with my battery and a sound that my car was making when I turned on the heater. I went back to the dealership and Kam took care of the problem quickly. Thank you Kam for helping me on Saturday Dec 1st.

Buyer beware!!!

My husband & I came in to Gwinnett Place Honda on 11/24/18 & ended up with Delavan Mair as our salesperson. The negotiations started with a number provided by Mr. Mair:
$6995 - listed price for the car
$699 - dealer fees
$400 - TAVT
$77 tax/tag/title
Total: $8171 "out the door price"

We said that was a little out of our price range, but we didn't offer a number yet. He slashed through it, told us, "I'm going to be Santa Claus" & then wrote: $7471. Just like that, he came off the 1st number $700 without us saying a thing. We were delighted, but said we were more comfortable with an "out the door" of $7000. He took our offer back to a manager and came back with "the best I can do at 9:00 at night, which was:
$6095 - new cash price
$699 - dealer fees
$400 - TAVT
$77 tax/tag/title
Total: $7271

The cash price was right in the middle of "fair deal" range for KBB, and after all, he had come off of the price $700 at the beginning. We thought we had gotten a "deal" of $900 off of where we started, so we moved forward with filling out all of the paperwork. We drove off the lot with the car.

After a day or so to think about things, I did looking around on line and realized what the GA law says about dealer fees...that they are ALL required to be included in the listed/advertised price & that the starting point for our negotiation deceptively included a DOUBLE CHARGE FOR THE DEALER FEES...that's why the salesperson was so quick to knock the price down $700. I also researched and realized what happened with that $77 charge for tax/tag/title...they had correctly charged me the certificate of title fee ($18, set by GA DOR), but they charged $59 for electronic filing of the title and showed it as an additional fee going back to Gwinnett Place Honda. The only non-optional fees that can be legally added on to the list price & TAVT have to go back to the government, not a dealership. To do otherwise is illegal.

The negotiation we started with on the car should have been no more than...
$6995 - list price, which included dealer fees of $699
$400 - TAVT, set by GA Dept of Revenue
$18 - certificate of title fee, set by GA Dept of Revenue
Total: $7413

I realized our perceived "deal" of $900 was, in fact, only $142 and that we got there in a deceptive & illegal way.

I spoke with Rodney Brown (our salesperson's supervisor) over the phone to explain our situation, and ON THEIR REQUEST we drove down to meet with Kelepha Njie (Mr. Brown's supervisor), and then finally met with Kristian Gjessing (Mr. Njie's supervisor). All three separate conversations started out the same: "So you got a deal of $900..." Mr. Njie said they had re-worked our financing & that we could talk about a possible refund of our deposit. However, both he & Mr. Gjessing were unwilling to admit to the deceptive nature of the original offer with double-dipping the fees & the illegal electronic title fee. They both came back aggressively with, "I have no proof" & "I wasn't there, I don't know exactly what happened." Reality is this: the ONLY possible way ANY of us could have thought we had a deal of $900 was if the price was fraudulently inflated from the beginning.

I told them that I would be filing a complaint with the GA Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection because of their behavior, but we wanted to give them the opportunity to admit their fault and change the contract to honestly & accurately reflect the $900 deal that we thought we were getting in the first place. I told them that if they were willing to correct the wrongdoing, I would happily include that in my complaint filing. In the end, Mr. Gjessing said if we were still planning on filing a complaint with the GA attorney general, he was no longer interested in changing anything and he wanted his car back. The sad part is that we probably would have ended up at or close to the number we accepted anyway if everything was kept honest & above board.

Dont ever buy a car from here. Patrick Beasley contacted me regarding an Accord I was interested in buying form the dealership. What I received was 10 harrassing phone calls, 4 voicemail within an hour. the last phone call ended when Patrick Beasley called me back and when i told him that i didnt have a specific price i wanted to pay, he hung the phone on me. Its safe to safe i will never buy a vehicle from this dealership, and ill be contacting the BBB in regards to their customer service and their business etiquette.

My first car buying experience with Gwinnett Place...

My first car buying experience with Gwinnett Place Honda was terrible. I found a car that I loved, test drove, and everything was fine. I signed all the paperwork and the car had additional repairs so I agreed to pick it up a few days later. When I went to pick the car up, there was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke coming from the air ventilation system. The smell made me so sick that I turned around and asked if I could return the car for a different vehicle. My car salesman, Aaron Hardy, informed me that I could not trade the car or return for a different one. I asked if they could at least detail the interior and change the air filter, services that should have come standard with the purchase of a certified pre-owned vehicle. The used car manager, Kelepha Njie was extremely rude to me and informed me that the dealership would not detail my car or change the air filter although I explained that the filter was dirty was the source of the foul smell. I spent hundreds of dollars on a full detail and filter change service although I bought the car only a week ago. I would deter anyone from purchasing a car from here if you are looking for reliable service and trustworthy salesmen.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I needed to get both side view mirrors replaced on my car and after multiple frustrating phone calls, I almost said Screw it! and was about to give up. I had an extra day off and went in and was greeted by Brandon and WOW! He made everything so simple and easy for me! He got the price of the let s and labor and put it all on one bill and allowed me to pay prior to my service! On the day of my service he was here bright and early to greet me and get me all checked in. He is knowledgeable, kind, and isn t trying to rip you off. I m so glad I decided to come in when I did! If you come to Gwinnett Place Honda make sure you ask for Brandon Woods! He s AWESOME!

We had the best experience buying a very nice, late model, certified, pre-owned CR-V from Tony Samad at this dealership. Tony was really awesome - no pressure sales, knew what we wanted and respected what we could afford, got us the best deal he could, and even set us up with some perks. When we didn't find the perfect fit the first visit, he very politely followed up with us to let us know when he got something in that was perfect (and, it WAS perfect!).
