If you are looking for nice place to stay in Bahrain, there is nothing that comes close to Gulf Hotel. There are many places that you can eat from. They have buffet breakfast to die for. Can have a beer right at the swimming pool to unwind.

Of hotels in Bahrain, has a specialized exhibition and conference department, the highest potential to offer the best. The conference was attended by the American Association of Safety Professionals at Awal Hall and all services were available in an ideal working environment and tangible cooperation from the hotel management. There are many fine restaurants in the hotel, which offer many varieties of food that satisfy all tastes

Went to Sherlock Holmes. Great ska band, best I've seen in a while if you like that kind of music.

All the restaurants there serve really tasty food. There allot allot of restaurants to choose from , Indian,Mexican, Chinese, Japanese,Thai , iranian and international.

Inside the Gulf Hotel, they have a special style of cooking up to the traditional dishes known, high quality and taste very delicious and all the dishes are prepared in preparation when requested, the staff are friendly and the chef always surprises you with a complimentary appetizer dish of "free" or an ice cream dish to separate appetizers and dishes The main, the restaurant is actually worth a visit and is suitable for business meetings

Nice swimming pool and gardens. Wide variety of gastronomic options. It has many restaurants and bars. Nice rooms. It smells to cigarettes in some non smoking areas....

The best day I slept in everything is available, but furniture grilling old

Luxurious, strategic location, close to the cafes, and it is better to leave the car in the hotel and walk and walk

Pure oldies but Goldie s location.
One of the oldest location in town, recently fully refurbished.
Great rooms and lots of restaurant and a very nice swimming pool.
AC in commons area is by far too cold also for the Middle East standard.
Music on the pool is often way too loud.
Generally the service could be improved.

Overall a good stay in a very central location.

It's very organized place and very mannerisms.. I love to visit frequently..

The Indian restaurant inside the hotel is one of the best restaurants in Bahrain

The Al Waha Buffet is open 24 hours daily and always has amazing food, especially the Seafood Buffet on Thursday evening. The service is impeccable and always a large variety of choices...highly recommend!

I was visiting for a conference at the hotel

The place is safe and upscale. But the bus stop is far away
There are some shops and nightclubs close to the hotel

There are several restaurants and massage venues in the hotel itself

The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. The room that I lived had a door to the next room. Some noises from other rooms

The hotel is sophisticated but the photos are supposed to be other than photos on their website or on google maps

Hi, I will talk about my experience right now with Gulf hotel. I choose it because it s history, but I am very disappointed from what happened to me & my girlfriend First, Michele in the reception was very distracted by giving wrong information about Resturant meals time, and I was asking for more wider area for my booking. She give choices I asked for the total price I write it down on the paper. We went with Carolina ( nice lady) to take a look to the apartment I liked it. We went back to Michele all of sudden the price CHANGED & the WAY CHANGED all of the sudden. Very disappointed & unprofessional. - Not only this, I asked here about the pool and swimming & if it s okay to wear my swimming suit, ( the other guy on the reception stare at me like TABOO ) - The valet parking took my care without my permission, my stuff inside car, I told NOT to move it, and after all of that ( he talks in his language bad about me and ask his member NOT to take my luggage and left me alone)!!!!! - The room DOES NOT have any heater system they bring unit very OLD fashion style. - Finally, I want to say to everyone who works with people/ clients specially a HOTEL guests as service providers smile & care let us feel HOME. I don't usually compliment The Gulf Hotel having had a very bad experience many years ago where they ran out of Turkey and failed to compensate members of the Irish Society who were unable to eat, despite a long fight afterwards we had with the GM at that time, Mr. Aqeel Rees.

However, last month we attended a Gulf Cellar Dinner and Wine tasting. It was excellent and the evening went a long way to remove the bad memories we had of Mr Aqueel Rees being obdurate. .

The Chef, catering staff, food and beverages were all amazing. Well done The Gulf Hotel. You have restored your tarnished image for me. . Keep up this good work.

With your multi restaurant choices, still one of the best 5 * hotels in BAH.

Very beautiful atmosphere and 5 stars services, he has many good restaurants containing multiple choices.

Old landmark property, convention center being renovated, would be good once done

I have never visited the hotel but it was quite fantastic comments and it was my visit

Gorgeous, great spacious rooms. Love the pool and happy hour drinks are worth it. Many wonderful restaurants. Take some time to visit the spa thermal room too.

A five star hotel located in the Adliya area suitable for families, individuals and business meetings

Loved the food in SATO restaurant the service was fantastic portion size of Tepanyaki Grill was more than enough for one person.

The first class hotel has restaurants that suit all tastes and there are also conference and banquet rooms.
