If you have ever been on an actual tour of a brewery/winery/distillery, you will be quite disappointed with this place. The tour is in no way part of the brewing facility and is basically a museum of their old stuff packed into several floors designed to flow you through endless videos and places to spend money. The beer flight or pint included with your ticket is nice but the price of admission is entirely too high. My wife and I were fed up with their self guided "tour" within 10 minutes. Pretty much a waste of time in my opinion. Just a tourist trap. Get your photo at the gates, then go to a local pub and get a pint. You'll be happier that way.

Lived up to the hype. I consider myself a frequent visitor of breweries and this one is top notch. Not a huge Guinness fan but that did not matter. Enjoyed the history of the tour and beauty of the entire place. The gravity bar at the storehouse has the best view of Downtown Dublin and also has other beers to drink while you enjoy the sights. Worth our time and money!

Great place! It is a "must go" if you are visitting Dublin. There are several areas into the building dedicated to various important points about this type of beer. It is very interesting knowing more about the history of the creation and elaboration of Guiness beer. At the end of the tour you can enjoy one beer that it is included with the ticket.

Great morning here, learning how the legendary drink is made. A must see for any visit to Dublin. Also the views from the gravity bar over Dublin are second to none, and it's the perfect place to finish your tour with your pint of Guinness in hand.

Had a really fun time at the Guinness Storehouse. We spent a good 2-3 hours there traversing the various levels and looking over the exhibits. You get a pint included with the price of your ticket (student entry only 20 euros), and a tasting session. There's a decent 360 viewing point right at the top of the building, and an interesting section on the history of Guinness' branding.
The building is situated a little off the main roads of Dublin but isn't much trouble to find. It took us 15-20 minutes to walk following Google maps from the main town centre.
Thoroughly recommend.

A very artsy brewery tour. Open floor plan makes me a little uneasy as I don't do well with heights, but the gravity bar is a must! Overall a very cool experience, and something everyone should include in their Dublin visit!

What a fun place and excellent way to spend time in Dublin. Pour your own pint, have lunch and learn about the history of the brewing process that is iconic Ireland. A must do and plan several hours for a relaxing day.

One of the highlights of a fantastic trip to Ireland. Would highly recommend this to anyone as the tour was very informative and the views of the city from the top of the museum were amazing.

The only negative note is the absence of audio guides even if on each floor there are screens in various languages but in this way it is not possible to fully experience this fantastic visit. Tips to buy tickets online to save when five euros per ticket. Must visit when touring Dublin

I recommend this attraction 200% and recommend using the right drink for the Guiness Academy attraction where you can pull your own Guinness and taste it

I can see that most people gave 4 or 5 stars. For me it was somewhat disappointing. Maybe I just expected too much. You will not see a single view of the real production. The setup is good but for me far too commercial. Not worth the 18 euros. The beer however is absolutely great.

"Nice experience in the heart of Dublin!"

Since I was in Dublin for a few days I took the opportunity to do a splendid tour and discover a lot of interesting things about Guinness! There is the possibility of using an audio guide in Italian that will reveal every secret of this beer (did you know that the Guinness imported from us is different from the original Irish one? Ours is more carbonated!). Once on the top floor you can enjoy a fabulous pint of fresh Guinness with chips !!! I recommend going for a ride because it deserves; besides being interesting it is also fun !!!

It was very crowded and mostly for tourist. The Gravity was also super crowded and ppl were sitting on the floor, which was kinda tacky for a bar. The food on the 4th floor wasn t that great either. I ordered the bao bun but it wasn t that good. Very expensive too...I give credit to all the cool things you can learn about Guinness though. But honestly, I wasn t that interested in how they make it cause I won t ever be able to make my own Guinness anyway

A blend of the early beginnings of the factory mixed with modern design and technology. This 7 level museum of sorts takes you into the rich history of the brewery from the early starting points to where the company lies today. A massive layout with ample seating, cafe and restaurant for the hungry and a bar with an amazing panoramic view of Dublin st the very top. The merchandise is far and vast ranging from the typical glassware and magnets to the more rare hockey jerseys and sportswear. A must visit for those who are in Dublin.

Interesting self guided tour, seemed a bit cluttered and confusing at moments with where to go. However, overall enjoyable! It has many interactive moments and is much larger then expected. Every level has a different topic to explore. Then of course, the best part is that with every ticket, you get a free drink - use it at the very top with a view of Dublin!

Get your face on a pint!

Get your face on a pint!
Great tour in a fantastic building right in the heart of Dublin. Must see of Dublin. The whole process of the making of Guinness from the start to the end product which you get a free pint of at the end of the tour with 360 degree view of Dublin! Wheelchair friendly, bathrooms available, cafe on sight. Easily access by Luas, bus or a 15 min walk from the city centre

Had a really good day here.

Had a really good day here.
Directions in Google Maps via bus was horrific as it gave a bus that dropped us at the commercial storehouse entrance about 15 mins walk away!

My advice, when you get in, you b-line for the Glass lift & start from the Gravity bar, work your way back down the few floors with bars/food & then do the tour.
Be better a little light headed
Also, there's some large signs dotted about that are best for photos when not so busy.

If you don't like glass lifts, there are some other lifts to the right when you walk in.

Gift shop is huge, loads of swag to go for.
There's several levels and there's a toilet at least on every other level.

If you go a bit earlier than 1pm and head right to the to too, you'll usually get way more space, as most people try come later and naturally the people who spent alot of time on each level end up at the top about same time.

I'm sorry to say that the place is just a well done commercial site.
Too much people, too much persons that want to drink and not to know. We liked the first two floor, the historical ones.
In my personal opinion it would be a good occasion to visit and know how to make beer, instead I find a big beer mall.
About the ticket price: we payed 18.00 per adult and 16.50 per children and get a "free" pint of Guinness.
All this made me feel like a hen to pluck.
Definitely not a place to visit again. Sorry for that.

The Guinness storehouse is a great place to visit, I would definitely recommend the audio tour as it gives quite a lot of fun information you would otherwise miss.
If you do decide to go, don't forget to order your tickets online. It might make a lot of difference in waiting in line to get a ticket.
And I also recommend the gravity bar: The view is amazing!

The tour was OK but not very interesting. A lot of padding on a subject that could be covered in 10 minutes. The pouring your own pint is good and the 360 bar is worth a look but it's very hot and crowded. Not really worth the money tbh.
Also the service in the bar upstairs really annoyed me. There was a ham and cheese toasties I liked the look of but when I asked for them to make it with no ham I was told its pre-prepared and no vegetarian option. So I asked the guy for a packet of crisps I could see at the far end of the bar and he wouldn't go and get them for me?? I could pay for them but he made me walk down to the far end of the bar to get them myself, through the crowds of people when he could easily have went and got them himself. It's not a big thing really but I was just shocked to ask for something served at the bar and the barman wouldn't walk 10 yards away to get them.
The other food place with the cafeteria style had a great selection and I got a lovely vegetarian burger and piles of salad and a smile, which was nice. But it was quite expensive for being a queue up kind of place.

A place that counts, the development of the beer industry in Dublin, its history, is the history of the city as well, since for many years it was its main industry, also with beautiful views from the gravity bar.

All in all a disappointment. The building itself is beautiful, but you only learn something about brewing beer in the first few minutes, and even here only superficially. On special beers from Guinness, such as the milk stout is not put down at all. The audio guide pointed to points that were no longer there. It was so full that you were only pushed through and could not look at anything in peace. The skybar above would have been nice if you could have seen some sky in front of all the people and the voucher is not valid for the special beers. The only positive thing we found was the exhibition on advertising that Guinness has done over time. The zoo and also the "cinema", in which international commercials run in a loop.

Amazing place! I was so impressed with how everything is placed to insure a nice self-guided tour. Definitely a well oiled machine! Absolutely worth a visit even if you don't drink Guinness or beer in general.

Visit of the symbol of Dublin. Upon reservation guided tour with explanation of the production procedures. Mini course from "spllatore" with final certificate.
Final tasting included to be enjoyed on the panoramic (closed) terrace overlooking Dublin.
You're welcome Erin, but I forgot to add how delicious Guinness is! Too good!

A must-see in Dublin. The tour was self-paced and so fun. You also get a pint of Guinness as a part of the tour. Go all the way up to the 7th floor Gravity Bar and you will see a panoramic view of of the city of Dublin - so amazing and worth the price of the entire tour.

The place is amazing. It is really taking the visitors through a pleasant journey. It can get busy during the weekend but we got there at 11am and it was fine. No matter if you like drinking guiness or not, it is an fun experience.

Very good place to visit, all very well done and you get a lovely pint at the end of the tour with a wonderful view.
Only negative is it is like a money machine, you have a time slot and a 5 minute introduction and then you are off on your own to explore, the problem is they just let so many through the door this causes massive traffic jams and this can make navigation stressful.

It is a massive storehouse! I was a bit disappointed since the tour is self-guided. It was also overwhelming with the 6 floors of historical information. The best part was the free pint of Guinness at the Gravity Bar.

too loud, too hectic, too much security staff. Well meant, badly done. Here's an example for Jameson. If you know how beer is brewed that is definitely not a must.
ATTENTION: The entrance security plays as a police. The Pocket Concert role rigorously confiscates Pockettools with a blade and does not return it.
Unfortunately, zero stars can not be awarded !!

A very good and a huge place to learn about how Irish protestants' beer - Guinness is make. From a harvest of hops, a choose of a spring water, toward fermentation to a labeling, a transportation, a marketing and a public relations etc. History... You can also relaxed in the few bars and eat in restaurants. One of the best views of Dublin on the roof bar.

Had a great experience. Paid for the private tasting where you are taught to pour a perfect Guinness pour. You also get to have several Guinness products not found in many places. There is so much to look at on each floor and enjoyed the bar on the top floor with a view of the city.

Beautifully set out ... the experience was enriching.... the whole process of beer making is spread over 5 floors of exhibitions and visuals.... pour your perfect pint was good fun and got a certificate for it.. rooftop bar Gravity is a must visit.

A tour arround part of the old factory. Get to learn how Guinness is made and info about the barley that is used etc. They teach you how to pour a Guinness which is a good thing to know! You do not get to see the actual current brewery in action with the standard tour tho. There is also a hourse and cart (not part of the tour) that gave us a ride from the factory back into Dublin centre for a few more drinks!!

I would recommend this if you are extremely interested in how beer is made, or specifically the history of Guinness. Otherwise, it is quite pricey and can be skipped. It is a very well constructed tour with lots of multi media and design elements, but you spend a lot of time reading over someone s shoulder. And god forbid you call Guinness black instead of ruby red...

Third time visit in about 2 years but never get tired of it. Always nice to walk the floors and learn more about the the black stuff .
The gravity bar brings a nice end to the visit event a little crowded at times.

I love this place, and I enjoy coming there every time I'am in Dublin. Be sure to book your ticekts online, reserve some time for your visit - not necessarily for sightseeing but for a pint of Guinness.
