Nice building, but therefore equal to have confidence in a bank - I do not know!

The building has no windows.
Once you have left your money there it never sees the sun again :-)
In front of Trinity College, it has a section that can be visited.
Awful. Don t put your money there. Worst fraud department
An alright location, services are somewhat limited here despite it being a massive bank but the employees are doing everything they can.
The building is absolutely wonderful and actually used to be the sitting house for Irish Parliament. I do recommend giving the area you can walk about in a walk through because it s a wonderful example of buildings from the past.
The bank has some cool historical exhibits inside and there is no admission fee.
Queues, queues, queues! Terrible bank! If you like to waste time then this is the bank for you!
The security guards let us into the house of Lords during a meeting, because he knew it was our last day in Dublin.
Customer for over 10 years. Can't call branch. Voice mails left not returned. If you do get a call back it's at a time which suits them,
if it doesn't suit you they really don't care. Forms left at business desk sometimes lost. Almost every request for anything at any branch it is answered by NO because they couldn't be bothered. Part of oligopoly in Ireland so won't change. Keep money under mattress and gold in back garden.
Really busy, crazy place (eat before and go to toillet before you join the Q)
Have always had welcoming and informative service when banking at this location.
The worst bank in Ireland and the worst bank I ever had an account with.
Website is a joke, their service is slow, definitely not user friendly, their security is also very bad.
I had many bad experience with their costumer support and the way they handle any issue you have. Once I opened a complain and I am still waiting to hear back form them.
Overall this bank is sooo bad that I am taking my time to come here and write about them!
This is bank that stuck in the past, 365 Online that should work 24/7 is in fact limited to branches and working hours so if you want simple pdf estatement to be printed over the weekend you must wait till monday, Overdraft? Forget 4-5 days of digestion. If you want flexibility and modern banking stay away from BOI.
impressive and well maintained building.
It was a stone's throw from my hotel so I walked past it almost every day ...
Unfortunately I could not visit it internally, but it has always fascinated me. It affects its size and majesty.
Very often it is inaccessible or closed for works (or at least that happened to me!).
Nice historical building just by the center of Dublin...
Good bank. Bit empty these days owing to technology but never had a bad experience with or without staff.
Monument to visit, too bad that in addition to being a chaotic area, there are also jobs!
Absoloutely the worst business I have ever dealt with. I would not switch banks unless absoloutely necessary considering the hassle involved, but the sooner I can move everything over to permanent tsb the better. Website/App is the most un-user friendly I have ever seen, customer service is attrocious, and everything takes FOREVER to get done if you do your banking with BOI. If you are a customer, I would consider moving ASAP as you well get screwed over sooner or later
They can close your account with the following explanation
"No reason given we just want to close it"
Don't recommend to anyone! It's a shame they represent Ireland... well as most of the cases they represent there only interests take more and more money from people and enrich them selves. be aware they might just not like you and give you a notice we are closing your account find another bank!
