This would be a 5 Star rating, but I went the day before St. Patrick s Day and it was PACKED. One employee said they normally have 3,000 visitors a day, but today they had 10,000. It was so packed you could stand anywhere to read the info without getting swept away. The gravity bar (one of the main reasons you come) was so packed you couldn t get to the windows to look out/get a picture. Was really looking forward to this tour, but found it frustrating that Guinness just kept selling tickets. I m not sure why online some time slots were sold out when they were definitely overbooked and understaffed. But other than Guinness just trying to make a buck over customer experience it s a great tour.

Just get blown away with this short educative tour for brew enthusiasts. From brew making to tasting, right to the advertising history of the brand, everything under one roof. The place smells incredibly good with the hop roasting and malt.
Goods purchased from the merch store here are eligible for tax reversal (duty free) at the Dublin airport.

Overall a great brewery. Here you can learn a lot about the history and also spend a good hour at a loss. The view from the rooftop bar is outstanding in good weather. Great atmosphere, great presentation and an absolute highlight. The only negative aspects were the increased admission prices and the enormous amount of visitors crowding into the storehouse. But definitely worth a visit.

It is a must if you love beer in general, but more for being in a place with so much history. The truth is that it does not have too much material to see, it falls short for the 17-24 euros you pay per person. It is the typical place to go take your photo and that's it.

Very good for those who like Guinness or not
Tour that is worth the hours spent, because you know the whole process of brewing beer, experiment, learn how to get the draft beer right and at the end of the tour you still have a sensational view of the city of Dublin from the paromamic bar on the top floor of building..

You do not see how it is manufactured or step on the factory. You pay a considerable amount to listen to the ingredients of the beer and how they use them and then they give you a guiness. Nor lasts the two hours stipulated. Disappointing.

Very interesting and vividly designed museum. However, the admission price is 25 euros per person. The audio guide is not included here, but costs an additional euro. In combination with a ticket for the hop-on hop-off buses, it is cheaper here. Definitely worth a visit.

We have done the tour last year so this year we wanted to visit the gift shop and food and drink only. But was stopped and told you have to pay for the tour. We walked away with 10 in happy people.

Managed really well.

Managed really well.
It is a journey through the history of Guinness.
Consider leaving us half a day, between the visit and then the drink.
There is the possibility of eating inside but it is not really convenient.
Audio guide for 1.
The view from the gravity bar is beautiful, you have a 360 view of the city.
Better to buy tickets online if you are in high season.

Great place to learn the how's when & where about the black stuff, but i was pleasantly surprised at the amount of history like the being torpedoed on the Irish Sea by Nazis & they still have the original bomb as it don't detonate & got stuck in the ships deck.. Highly recommend & it goes without saying you get some free Guinness in the bar at the top which has 1 of the top views in Dublin, love it & im Irish

I had an amazing time at the Guinness storehouse. The museum is very modern and interactive and the Gravity bar has the best Guinness I've ever had plus the view from the bar is amazing.

I also must add that their customer service is excellent. I had some issues with my online tickets, I've e-mailed the customer service and they replied back to me immediately.

Would definitely recommend visiting this place as it's one of the best museums in Dublin.

A particularly charming museum at the end of the visit has a tasting of the beer. The beer is great.

The best brewery tour I have been too. Great atmosphere created by a huge bustling and layered museum that not just informs you of guinness but also activates the senses with great design that doesn't leave you bored. Self led tour on 7 different flours so you can go at your own pace and one free pint that can be used at 3 different locations. 1. Top sky floor with a 270 degree view over all Dublin 2. 5th floor where you can learn to and pour your own pint or 3. 4th floor which is just a generic bar. We'll worth a visit despite being 23 (price varies on different dates)

Interesting place! You get to learn the history behind Arthur Guinness and Guinness and how the beer is made. They star the tour on the first couple of floors by telling you how each ingredient and processed and then they take you to a tasting room. But you have to line up until the line is full and then they take you in to smell the aromas before you can try a shot glass size of the beer. They then take you to the advertising floor and then the academy floor which you can learn how to pour the beer properly.

Each ticket gets a free beer at the end of the tour.

We have had a lush time here today. We could of spent all day here with shops and cafes and restaurants plus loads to do and learn. It is a lovely place to meet new people and the staff are super friendly and helpful! I personally am scared of heights so the escalators and glass lifts were not an option for me. Each time I took the other lift hidden a bit out the way and felt much better. A wonderful day and good fun pouring out own pint!

Explore the Guinness Storehouse at your own pace and leisure. Lots of interesting facts.
Top floor and last stop is a pint of Guinness in the glass bar and lookout..fun with a pint of Guinness.

Overcrowded and a commercial sell out. Parts of the tour were blocked off for a private function. There were long lines for the tasting. Was expecting a tour for the extortionate price - but soon learnt upon arrival that it s self guided , more like crowd dodging

Disappointed by the storehouse exclusive merchandise. Luckily noticed the first glass I was going to buy had a chip in it before checked out. Swapped for another only to have the metal label fall off of the glass in the bag walking back to the hotel.

Pretty cool experience inside but it was quite crowded.

Wish the merch was better.

A must see attraction if you're visiting Dublin, that pint of Guinness you get at the Gravity bar is probably going to be the best pint you'll taste. The architecture and floor plan is very well thought out too.

This Guinness Storehouse is basically paying money to go though a big commercial but who cares. It is still loads fun. It is a visit where you get to learn about the Guinness family and their role and contribution to Ireland. You get to learn about the process taken to make a Guinness. You learn how to taste a Guinness. If you want to, you could pour your own Guinness, however, I didn t. I suggest going to the top instead for your glass of cold Guinness. There is a cafeteria serving few sweets and coffees. There are also these restaurants. A gift shop at the end of the tour if you feeling like buying stuff.

For birra beer lovers, for Dublin lovers or simply for the curious, visiting the Guinness Storehouse is an important step. You will be able to discover the birth, development and continued success of beer that is famous throughout the world and of beer in general. The visit is developed on different levels and the topics are divided so that we can understand the great commitment, passion and determination that it takes to create a brand like the Guinness one. Everything ends at the seventh floor of the Gravity Bar where, in addition to tasting your own pint of beer, included in the ticket price, you can enjoy the view over the entire city of Dublin. The only drawback: the cost of the ticket is a bit too high.

A great activity to do when you are in Dublin. But you should be interested in Beer least a bit.
Guinness, the ingredients, the brewing, marketing and even pouring.
If you book tickets online, you get a discount (I paid 18 - 1 pint of Guinness included)

Great activity when in Dublin. However, you should at least have a bit of interest in beer.
A self-guided tour of the Storehouse, learning everything about Guinness, ingredients, brewing, marketing, and even proper pouring.
Tip: If you go online, you get a discount (I paid 18 - including 1 pin Guinness)
Ahja ... and even if something is in German: you should be able to speak the English language

One of the best things to see in Dublin. The ticket costs 25 but is valid for the last penny and a pint of guinness is included in the ticket. Give yourself an audio guide even if you speak English, because in addition to the things already written it will give you a lot of other information. It takes about a couple of hours to visit.

Was really disappointed by this. The standard tour package leads you up 7 different levels where you get to "see how they make Guinness". What they don't tell you is that it is all shown on interactive screens, meaning you don't physically get to see any part of production or the brewing process in action. Just cheesy, repetitive videos of how they make it that you could watch on YouTube for free. Best thing about the tour was the Guinness bread and stew on level 4.

Plenty to do/see with probably just the right balance of guided activities and self-guided walks. The place looks amazing and it's clear the amount of time and effort that's gone in to it. Only downside is that it can get very busy, understandably so.

Definitely the best attraction in Dublin. You can't get to see the real factory, but this interactive museum will make you forget about that.
You can learn about the process of making the guinness beer and many many interesting stuff about the brand.

Naturally, one cannot visit Ireland without visiting Guinness Storehouse. The self guided tour was not as quick as I thought it would be which was great! So much rich history shared here. And the restaurants and beer are a perk too.

We ordered tickets through Expedia and ended up with a souvenir glass and 1 magnet per person, with a free pint of beer. We actually missed the date on our tickets because of travel issues and they let us use them the next day!

All and all, great place to visit when in Dublin.

Perfect for all Guinness fans.

Perfect for all Guinness fans.
Ingeniously constructed, one is led through the top, it is pointed out to the smallest detail and nothing is left out! You even get a certificate if you tap your own Guinness !! Terrific!

A really great and modern tour. Highly recommended is a time reservation in advance. It is a huge building with many interesting contributions. The meeting place for the leadership is clever. A countdown counts down the time until the tour starts. A must when visiting Dublin.

this is an obligatory stop once you visit Dublin. It is a little further away from the city center but it is the best place to drink your Guinness! Don't miss the sunset in the rooftop lounge.

An absolute must is a visit to the brewery. You learn everything about brewing on an interesting tour. Tasting included. But then it really starts. Live music, singing and dancing visitors in a detached mood. In the shop no wish remains open. Super Marketing. The entrance fee corresponds to the price level which is found throughout Dublin. Here is also a large beer included. You should get tickets in advance on the Internet. This also applies to many other attractions. Just go there and go is not. Will also go to the next Dublin visit to the brewery.

We took the self-guided tour of the Storehouse. It is multi-leveled with lots of history and information about Guinness. From how it is made, to how it grew, and how it is marketed and sold all around the world.

The best part is the top, with a huge 360 glass room that lets you see all of Dublin while sipping a drink at the end of your tour. I think this is a must-visit in Dublin.

One of the best venues of Dublin! Great self-guided presentation, employees of so called brewery museum are young. All energetic very kind and helpful.

You start your journey at the ground zero floor, than as you circle the floor you complete it, than you move to the first than second, all the way to the seventh floor at which you get a fresh pint of Guinness and beautiful panoramic view of Dublin.
There are tastings on the other floors also, lots of times for free, they let you coupon for free pint, for the top floor.
It is certain that they are trying to impress young community because the Storehouse is really lively and has presentations of their craft beers, and then their entertainment (DJs, clog dances, drummers etc.)
I really hope I visit Storehouse again.
