Is this a must ????? Especially at the price of 25 euros.
Our impressions of the visit are in line with the various opinions that we have read (on Google and guide du routard).
Above all, take the ticket directly from their site. Cheaper but still 19 euros + 2 for the audio guide on site.
The audio guide allows you to be more free during the visit rather than the group tour which seems longer.
The visit is very well directed and remains interesting especially by the dimensions of the old exhibits of the old brewery.
Because yes, don't expect to see the actual plant itself.
It is a tourist visit in script version with bright animations.
On the 5 floors, the first two are devoted to manufacturing, the other two to history, the pub and especially restaurants or bars to spend and the last deserves the detour a little more with its coup d eye on the city while you taste the Guinness "free" (with your ticket).
A tourist classic to do on a rainy day.
Interesting to know the manufacturing and a bit of history of the city and Ireland.
There are certainly more modest brewers who explain it just as well in a more authentic atmosphere (if you understand English).

I wasn't impressed at all. 25 for a pint guinness and a "self guided tour" of a bunch of pictures. Even though Guinness is made on site at no point did you get to see them actually making any beer, very disappointing.

We took the 15 tour, the Guiness museum is nice but nothing special. It is possible to taste the Guiness on the 4th or 5th floor, and then on the top floor you can sit and have a beer of your choice included in the cost of the ticket.
The top floor offers good views across Dublin and the surrounding area

If you like beer and are in Dublin you can not miss the temple or cradle of beer. There is an exclusive 5-story building to learn how beer is made and on the top floor you have a 360 bas to taste a beer looking at the city. A luxury

I d recommend getting a ticket online to bypass the queue. Once inside, you can pick up an audio guide before starting the tour. Otherwise the clear signs and interactive display should suffice in providing details of the brewing process and of the history of Guinness. The tickets come with a free pint of Guinness which you can redeem at the Gravity Bar, or alongside a pouring lesson at the Guinness Academy.

We purchased the Stoutie tickets too. Having my face printed on a fresh pint of stout seemed like a good idea at the time. We didn t know the Stoutie would allow up to three persons in the picture. We would not have purchased one ticket each had we known this. There was no way we could finish six pints (three free with entry tickets and three Stouties). Oh well. Once purchased, there was no possibility of a refund (we asked).

So here we go. Our face printed on a stout three times.

It s one big ad for Guinness. In worst Disney/coca cola fashion they show you beautiful but meaningless visuals about how fantastic it all is. There are a few ok part but it s 90% an effort to sell you more beer.

It s definitely a tourist trap packed with tourists. There are many floors to check out and walk around in, too bad the place was overcrowded. You can either get tickets in person the day off or book tickets online with time slot to skip the line. We got online tickets, arrived early without issue. Entrance ticket allows you to exchange for 3 small beer tasting in a rec room or 1 beer at the gravity bar on the top floor, overseeing the entire neighbor. The gravity bar would have been cool, except that it is packed with tourists, very minimal seating and no even much standing room. The advisement floor was cool, but again this place was too packed and serve more as a tourist site with a big gift shop and add-on for VIP experience.

A magnificent place and one of the essentials in the visit to Dublin. The best online ticket is obtained between 18.5 and 25. At the door only for 25. The visit takes 2 hours easy, and you discover everything that guinness gives of itself. The expensive souvenir shop. But that is a classic. The pint has to be thrown at the academy

Buy your tickets ahead of time so you can avoid the long lines and don't go on a weekend unless you go early in the morning. The Dublin Hop On Hop Off bus stop is a great way to get there and the stop is located just steps from the entrance. Go to the Guinness Academy and learn to pour the perfect pint!

Fantastic trip and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and there is a lot to see and learn about the history of Guinness and how it was formed. We got the chance to pour our own Guinness and shown how to pour the drink properly in the process :).

A recommended trip if you are ever planning to visit Dublin.

I was disappointed by the mess and lack or organization in the tour.
You will not se the process and machines, it is just screen with audio.
You will not have a guide either.
The one star is just for the drink you will be getting at 7th floor with the fantastic view of the city.
I would not visit it the next time I visit Dublin.

Very crowded by people! Unfortunately not the best brewery experience. We tried to park car at the visitors' parking lot, but the guard didn't let us, although there were plenty of vacant parking places. Some of the toilets were not clean. I like Guinness a lot, but the tour experience is not the best. It worth to mention that such a tours are conducted absolutely free of charge in Japan including the tasting part. This tour is overpriced!!!

We did the Guinness Connoisseur Bar experience, and it was amazing. There are only a limited number of seats in the room, and we were lucky enough to be in two of those seats.
This experience brings your taste buds through a journey through time and beer!
We highly recommend this to those who love Guinness and all of their beers.

I returned there after several years, it is always an unmissable stop for those passing by Dublin, the pint of Guinness drunk at the Gravity Bar has a particular flavor. Entrance with online booking about 20 euros depending on the times, children accompanied by two adults do not pay.

The interactive displays throughout were entertaining and educational. Darragh at Guinness Academy was fabulous and showed us how to pour the perfect pint. Tommy, the manager, was knowledgeable and made sure our experience was the best.
Make sure to check out Stoutie Bar because you too can have your face on the top of a pint. Best adventure in Dublin to date.

Even those who do not like Guinness could visit this place as it is full of stories about beer. The program includes a historical tour of the firm, which also presents the different aspects of beer creation. Appetizer of the famous stout on the top floor. One less star however because for the price of the visit (free) I would have liked to leave with a free souvenir like, go at random, a drink.

This was a very cool experience going to the brewery but this is not a brewery tour. This is pay money to come in and shop and have 2 pints while you're here. I felt like I paid 40 Euro for two pints of Guinness.

Great experience! Very well organized. Lots of multimedia exhibits walking you through every aspect of the brewing process to include how they used to make the barrels by hand. Make sure you participate in the tasting and pour your own Guinness, both cool experiences. They have a couple of restaurants and a rooftop bar with 360-degree views. This place is well worth a visit and a stop on every bus tour in Dublin.

First of all, we were NOT in the building.

First of all, we were NOT in the building.
Because: Actually, we just wanted to go to the shop and drink a beer (where to drink Guinness, if not there), but just to get into the building at all, you have to pay an entrance fee, which is completely covered ( after M.). So just to get the chance to spend money there, you have to spend a lot of money. And not only that you have to pay a high entrance fee as an adult (I think about 18 ), no, even children under 16 (they probably do not even have much), must also pay 16.50.
In summary: We just thought it was outrageous to ask for such a high price to get to the shop and the bar in the first place.

Overall, you learn a lot about the design and history of Guinness. Arthur was a visionary in his time as evidenced by the XXXX years lease .... Well yes I will not spoil you; -)

the exhibition is well done with fairly thorough explanations. Too bad that some tourists are more interested in the free Guinness of the Gravity Bar than in the history ... let's talk about the Gravity Bar .... And well except to recover my guinnness after 3h30 of visit we could not benefit from the seen because there were a lot of people.

Overall the experience was very enriching and I could understand that Guinness is not a beer in fact ...

The only negative point in my opinion is that I didn't actually see the inside of the factory.

In short, it is advisable.

If you love beer you can't miss this amazing place. The tour is a great journey through the process of creation of this delightful beer and its history. At the end of the tour you can learn to pour the perfect pint of Guinness and then enjoy it, with a beautiful view of the city, at the sky bar on the top floor of the factory.

Absolutely brilliant tour would recommend to anyone, the academy was an extremely good experience with very very pleasant staff and a perfect pint at the end. Prices in store were the cheapest in Dublin, would do the whole tour again tomorrow. The sky bar was extremely good with exceptional views of Dublin and beyond. You should be very proud of your customer relations, well done.

A very nice attraction. It is worth visiting and learning interesting things about Irish brewing. In addition, beer tasting and learning how to pour. Be sure to have a beer at the glass bar with views of Dublin. Finally, visit the gift shop.

Be warned: this is just an educational Epcot exhibit about beer. I ve been on dozens of brewery tours and this was by far the worst tourist-trap. The architecture and design is amazing. But for the love of God just go to a local pub and talk to Irish people.

A great experience for people who love a dark beer and want to understand the process better. In addition, you get a lot of history from Dublin. Really a place where you must have been once. In the morning it is often foggy.

Quite pricey at 25. Self guided tour, not very interactive and engaging. Can get quiet busy which results in long wait for tasting room. Not a bad experience, but also not a memorable one.

One of the highlights of our visit to Dublin. We took the guided tour and it was money well spent. We went in a small group, the guide was excellent - pointing out the important bits and pieces and talking naturally about the beer, it's history and how it is made. The tour includes a tasting of various Guinness beers and then a pint of Guinness in the Sky bar with a view of Dublin. For me this is a must see for anyone visiting Dublin.

The Guinness Storehouse is an awesome experience, it is really touristy but I think still an thing you should do anyway. They offer a lot of things to do and see. I will not go into the details because I think you should just go and see for yourself wats in the Storehouse. I had an amazing time ( and to be honest with you, I trie to avoid places overflowing with tourists. But this is an thing you should not miss)

This will come up on any list of touristy things to do in Dublin. We felt like we had to check it out while we were there.

If you buy tickets online, you get a discount. You but tickets for a specific time, but we were let in right when we got there which was before our time.

The experience is pretty cool. It is definitely very much a production. There was a floor for advertising which I thought was pretty interesting. They focused a lot on how the beer is made.

You get a free pint (which can also be used for soda) that can be used at one of a few different bars or experiences. We used ours at the gravity bar which was really cool with an amazing view of the city, but it was incredibly crowded.

There's if course a gift shop where you can buy just about anything you could ever want branded with Guinness.

I wish it had been a bit more interactive and that they had given more background on the Guinness family and the history of the brewery.

All in all, we enjoyed our time here, but I don't think I would be devastated if I missed it.

Very polished without much depth. Did you know Arthur Guinness signed a 9000 year lease? Because you'll hear it at least four times through your tour. Best part of the tour was the section on coopers. I left with a new appreciation of barrels but didn't learn much about their contents.
