Professional service and very courteous. Marcus works hard to fix our problems. We have had connection problems in the past and he always finds a way to improve our signal strength. Thank you Marcus for all of your help.

We have had intermittent internet with GTEk for 3 years. They are best of the worst in our area. There are not any other options and they don't usually have a good answer on why we don't have a consistent connection to the internet.

Very poor internet, most of the time it s never working. It constantly cuts out throughout the day. Customer service doesn t help and when they come to fix it nothing is ever wrong but when they leave it acts up again.

I ve been a loyal customer for some time and I m sorry to say that the way they re conducting business now compared to 4 years ago its by far the worst I ve ever seen and witnessed. They will make the equipment work to provide you that the speed is possible then they will prorated or somehow cut it.
I pay for 20 mb and get 2-4. This is terrible.
I m giving one star because I cannot review lower, but I would if I could.

Have been a customer for a couple of years. Have always had issues with connectivity. One min it can work perfectly and the next it s speed is reduced to nearly nothing. Bought modem through them and it only lasted a couple of years. They did not service it or replaced it and had to purchase a new one. This is before the service plan which they now have in effect. Definitely going to drop my plan since it doesn t even give me the speeds I am paying for. Definitely a bad communication company.

Also had to pay an extra $10 a month for a static IP just so I could connect my PS4 to PSN (an issue they had no idea about when we got the internet but knew about after the fact). Either stupid or liars either way it's bad business. Just have to add the internet even cut out while typing this. I just hope they go out of business soon so everyone getting screwed can break their contracts.

Jared Howell was the customer support person who helped me with my issues. He worked with me to try and identify why I was having recent issues with my internet. He even called me back to check the service upgraded properly and that I would have the speed and connectivity I would need for an upcoming video conference I had later this afternoon. They really try their best to give customers the support they need, I've called before about other stuff and everyone is always patient, helpful and nice. Thanks!

Our next door neighbors recently became Gtek customers. During their installation, the crew noticed our tower was not tethered properly. Without our knowledge a service call was created, and a few weeks later a group of guys (Javier Cano, Russell, and one other young man) showed up at our house (after text message alerts and phone calls) to not only secure our tower, but upgrade our equipment. Now, that's taking care of your customers!! We are thankful and excited to have faster service (didn't know we needed it!) at no added expense. Thanks, Gtek!!

My Gtek tech today was Nathan. He did an outstanding job.it was a very fast installation.he was totally knowledgeable about all aspects of the install.he answer all my questions with ease. He was very professional. Internet speed(bronze) is fast so far and doing what I need it to. No issues to date,would definitely reccomend to anyone. Thx Gtek and Nathan!

Edit2: It's been a while since I had an issue with my service. I feel they have done well enough to redeem their name at least enough to earn another star from me. I've been a customer of theirs for a while now, it can be a rocky ride, but it's certainly better than dealing with price hikes and data caps from the other guys. AT&T has been in my area for a year now, but why pay more when they are just going to screw me over with data caps and such? GTek is the better, and cheaper choice.

We initially had GTEK before Hurricane Harvey came around in August 2017 and then our connection went to the crapper... didn't work period. We don't have very many internet options where we live and decided to give GTEK another chance since they claimed their service has improved in our area. The tech initially had a hard time and we were experiencing the same problem we were having almost 2 years ago. We will give it to Zach....he didn't give up and figured out the problem. We had to connect to a different tower that was further from our house (the closer tower must be degraded or something) and it is working great so far. If the techs who had came out to our house before would have been as devoted and committed to their work and taking care of the customer, they probably could have figured out the issue with the connection at our house. We hope Zach doesn't get in trouble for taking so long installing our service but it made us happy that he figured out the issue. Thanks Zach.

CUSTOMER BEWARE! THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS! Our internet service with Gtek has been nonfunctional for two weeks. There is at least a three to four day response time for both emails and phone calls. Internet still does not work. If you live where there is no cable and think that this is the only option, consider an unlimited data plan with your wireless company with a hot spot. If you go with Gtek, you end up paying for this anyway because the internet and wifi service with them does not work most of the time. Save your money! Don't sign a contract with Gtek.

Had technician Roberto A. show up to my door thinking we needed service but was actually the house before ours. While at my front door he asked how my service was to which I replied was somewhat unstable. He asked to come in to check to which I agreed. I informed him that our equipment had recently been upgraded. I informed him of what was done and that the cable had not been replaced by the previous technician. After a quick assessment he notified me that he could replace the cable after his previous appointment to which he did, excellent customer service.

Just had my service installed today and the two guys that came out were very knowledgeable in their line of work. Also very helpful and took their time with mounting and running the wires for a very clean look. Also the the guys were very punctual and arrived 10 mins before the set appointment time. Their unreliable internet service is too expensive for the speeds they provide. They charged my senior widowed mother $100 for tech support she never uses. My internet was $85/month then suddenly it jumped to $125/month with no notice. I have a 4G LTE unlimited provider that is more reliable for half the cost and also portable if needed.

I'm a new customer, as of today, and so far I'm enjoying this service. First time using a WISP; it's the only option for this new location. My technician, Travis, was very friendly and helpful in getting us set up and understand how it works. For the capabilities, of this service, I think it's fast and reliable. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is the price is a little steep however, understand it will not be able to beat traditional landlines/fiber but overall a great service provider for what's available.

This WiFi service is very poor you pay monthly but they don t really give a damn about your problems when the WiFi is messing up and don t do anything about it having to call 4 or more times a month to get it reboot because it keeps glitching waiting for the contract to end so I can get a new provider would not recommend getting it at all not worth it and the messenger to get in contact with them are also very unprofessional it s been twice one of them messaged me a message that had nothing to do with my WiFi like there operaters are being paid to just chat with others and not fix the WiFi
