The Grosvenor House London likes to betray its age from the outside, but its old and unembellished look from out of doors makes it even more interesting to throw through its huge size. Diving into the interior of the older gentleman through irgent a door, you feel immediately in another time offset.

I visited the place to try the coffee, the steak and cake steak and my opinion
In the place where there is a lot of gulfs, the situation is formal, you need a chunky , the chice cake is sweet but mo on the praise I hear from years means impossible to praise to anyone who cares for him

We stayed here for a day prior to a cruise. The staff needs to be mentioned first. Every single person we came across here was superb. Very polite, incredibly helpful. Some of the best staff I have come across. The location of the hotel is also superb. Right in the middle of London. Very close to many sights, most within walking distance. The one negative would be the cleanliness of the guest room. The bathroom in particular was not as clean as it could be. Had we been staying longer than one night, I probably would have requested a different room. All said, I would still recommend this hotel.

Hotel room was clean and freshly decorated only annoyance about the room was the shower which would go from cold/cool to really hot with the slightest of turns. The breakfast was good but not a large selection and the scrambled eggs looked a little soggy mostly from condensation, the options was serve your self English breakfast, fruit or continental breakfast.

The hotel is quite old but well maintained . Situated on a very nice place opposite Hyde Park with convenient access to the subway. The rooms are quite large for London. The bathroom is a little strange (especially the shower ) , but this is because of the old building.
There are also executive lounge, I visited it . It's nothing special, no hard alcohol , for example.
The service was excellent.
Although it is primarily a business hotel is good and for leisure visits.

Nice property, good location, restaurant service is a bit slow, executive lounge is a bit slow with the food replenishment. Much of the staff are very cordial. Room maintenance is not the best. Platinum guests don't expect to receive a spectacular upgrade, maybe a small one if you insist.

I was expelled from waiting my taxi, this because i was with a guest and i was wearing all my designer bags, shoes, jewels and the security guy treat me like a street dog, i have no idea how they gonna treat another person. The first thing a 5 star have to know is how to treat high class people, clearly they dont have idea, never recommend

After an extremely challenging year, I wanted to surprise my wife with an extra special weekend away. From my first contact with the team at Grosvenor House Hotel, the communication was phenomenal. The team were extremely accommodating to all of my requests and they truly went above and beyond to help me achieve my goal. Our experience surpassed every single expectation! I personally want to extend my thanks to Jack, Urte and Monika for making every element of our stay exceptional, for that I am eternally grateful.

Moving on, the hotel is perfectly situated on Park Lane, a stones throw from Hyde Park. Additionally, it s only a short walk to Oxford Street, Bond Street and even Buckingham palace, there is plenty to keep you occupied. We were fortunate to stay in the opulent Park View Suite, where we were able to soak in stunning views of Hyde Park! The suite is divided into an large open living space and a generously sized bedroom, both featuring contemporary decor and elegant furnishings. The marble bathroom is well appointed with Bvlgari toiletries and a large shower area with a rainforest shower head, a welcome addition to the bathroom or suite would be a full sized mirror. If you seek serenity in the heart of London, I highly recommend this luxury suite. The suite also grants you access to the executive lounge, where you are able to unwind during the day, indulge in light snacks in the afternoon or a cheeky aperitif during happy hour (unfortunately due to the government guidance alcohol was not served during our stay). The hotel were aware it was my wife s belated birthday treat, so they were so kind to send up a personalised world renowned JW Cheese Cake, I am thrilled it lived up to its reputation!

The hotel has a number of unique food and beverage venues. My wife throughly enjoyed her evening meal at JW Steakhouse. For starters she opted for king scallops, for main course she had the filet Oscar (which was perfectly cooked) and to end we shared a pecan pie. She absolutely loved every course of her meal! As a vegetarian, I felt the options were limited for starter and main course, which in fairness is expected in a steak house. My starter of spinach and artichoke dip served with packet tortilla crisps was underwhelming, however, my main course was tasty. Unfortunately I was only made aware of the daily special main course on arrival. A little too late, I realised a range of specials were written across the wall, which included additional options for stater, main course and dessert. There was a slight hiccup with my wife s side dish being forgotten, then arriving incorrectly at the end of her meal (she ordered parmesan fries but they arrived without any seasoning whatsoever). However, the service was so smooth, attentive and as you ll notice with all staff at JW, featuring a big smile it didn t affect our experience. As per my request, my wife had roses and confetti on the table and the hostess even sang happy birthday! My wife was certainly feeling the love this weekend. The cocktails were exceptional, each featuring a generous quantity of premium base spirit. Though the cocktail options on the main menu were limited, the team were more than happy to craft something bespoke to fit your preferences.

The hotel and team recognised my platinum bonvoy status and honoured every benefit from welcome amenity, upgrade, 4pm late checkout etc. In summary our stay was at a 5* hotel with 5* hospitality. Once again I d like to say a massive THANK YOU for a great experience and all the positive vibes! It was our first stay but certainly not our last, we cannot wait to return!

A really nice hotel in London central close to many sight seeing places they also have a private car booking system instead of catching the black cab taxis. The steak house in the hotel is well worth going to

The hotel is one of the best locations in London for large scale events to be held. The food and service is superb, fast and efficient, as well as being top quality.

Located just a few minutes walk from the Marble Arch Tube Station on the Central Line, it is easy to find and access.

Had a brief business meeting here at the tea lounge. The ambient and service here is really exceptional. The staff are well informed and very helpful! Oh by the way, they serve the best cheesecake in London, seriously.

I like everything about Grosevenor House except....
In order or excellence;: the staff, unparrelled in all my years of travel and 5 star hotels. The food, everything from JW steakhouse breakfast to a 5 course evening meal to a lite bite after an evening out, the best taste, freshest, and best prepared I've eaten anywhere.
Afternoon tea just about anywhere in the hotel and with complimentary beverages, cakes, pizza, adult beverages and more. Room service at 2am was quick and delicious.
Most hours from just about anywhere on the ground floor you could hear and watch if you chose someone tickling the ivories.
Lastly the suite I had # 309 had a nice bedroom, lovely separate living room and a torture chamber for a bathroom. seriously a hazard for your health. the step-in tub shower was not wide enough to face forward so showering had to be done sideways in the tub that was uncharacteristically high making getting in or out very difficult and required holding on to a damp flat wall. To add insult to injury the electricity when out in our suite one morning for a few minutes.
I would stay there again but not in that room.

Attended a testimonial dinner at the Grosvenor and encountered the rarest of things: edible banquet food, truly surprised and impressed. Overall a stunning venue with attentive staff and top quality service. You'll also have paparazzi hanging around outside for that true A-list experience (though don't get too close, personal hygiene isn't their strong point).
