Flipped the guitar nut for a right handed guitar for left handed use at a good price
My favorite music store in London for 20 years. Cheers Crispin!
George
Good selection of fender guitars, amongst others. Friendly staff.
Really nice guys with such a big variety of guitars, amps and other stuffs!
Brilliant shop with very friendly and helpful staff! Many guitar shops are intimidating for beginners but the staff here made me feel at home and were happy to explain to me in detail about the guitars/equipment/etc. They let me try many guitars before I decided on the one I wanted, and set up the guitar for me when I came back in a few weeks later without any problems. I would highly recommend this store!
Fantastic customer service! These guys went out of their way to find me the guitar my son wanted. The package arrived the day after my payment. So impressed! I highly recommend Regent Sounds! Thank you
Execellent inventory, knowledgeable and friendly staff
walking street that was connecting to Canaby Street for shopping and restaurant for food and drink at Kingly's Place
Top customer service. They have a very wide range of Fender since they are an official store. I tried a CS '67 track that was very nice but at a brutal price. They are happy to help you find what you want.
Found exactly what I wanted and saved myself a bundle in the process.
Awesome store. Just the right vibes for all of you guitar lovers. The collection in display is just so good that you can spend hours trying and playing so many and wonderful guitars. Guys in there are just spectacular. In my personal case, I needed to ship the guitar from London to Madrid, and they took care of it just in the right way. I just received it, so all congrats to them for really taking care of my brand new Strat just the way I'd done it.
The attencion is the best, responding really quickly all of the emails I've sent of all the doubts I had about the shipment.
Really recommend passing by to just feel a good place that breaths music.
Congrats to Regent Sounds for being a great place for music!
A place of music history. Great selection of guitars. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
Really helpful staff, let me try anything on the wall and very helpful dealing through email to acquire what I wanted. One of the best guitar shops i have been to and dealt with
Cannot fault the customer service I received here. The staff were all friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. I spoke to a lovely guy called Rob who was very helpful and pointed me in the direction of Stairway to Kevin, to fix my guitar. Would definitely recommend this shop for all things guitar. I'll be coming back here when I'm ready to purchase a new guitar, I hope they sell left handed ones!
Can't for the life of me remember the guys name who helped me out.. he was a class guy - glasses, likes to hybrid pick and is 'the pedal guy'.. debated with me and got me multiple guitars down to play through a gorgeous deluxe reverb with a cheeky fulltone drive pedal.. really helped me nail down what I was looking for (my wedding present from the other half - lucky me) :) - would 200000% recommend in comparison to the sometime intimidating nature of the other shops nearby. Class.
This sight looms large in the history of British Rock as a demo/rehearsal/recording studio and musician hang-out. Now thriving as mainly a successful guitar 'one-stop' shop.
The hey-day has waned in this street but the essence lingers for a new generation of musicians.
Always good, knowledgeable service. Best guitar shop in Denmark Street
Always been treated amazingly by the lovely staff. Big shout to Leon and Luke.
Absolute perfect stress free transaction. Seller sent Royal Mail Special next day without making fuss that they would do so.. and which is gold standard delivery. And pedal (fairfield shallow water) is truly great. Lovely sounds inside this pedal. Very Highly Recommended Seller. Cannot go wrong. Much appreciated!
The knowledge & passion of the staff is second to non. Great little guitar shop. 10/10
Good dudes each and every time.....my first got to guitar shop!
My favourite guitar shop! The history of Rock'n'roll.
I do hope this business survives the pandemic lockdown. Brilliant that it's been going so long.
They are very friendly, polite and professional you can find all you need to play music
Fantastic place, have been looking forward to this day and coming to the famous Denmark Street to buy a new Guitar. Jenna was really helpful when it come to choosing my new Fender Strat, she was professional and not pushy. Really enjoyed the time I spent in the shop today, I would highly recommend Regent Sounds.
Rob was a star! You can tell he has a great passion and knowledge in this area. Excellent customer service-gave us lots of different products to chose from and everything was good value. We are beginners and he explained everything in simple nor jargon language. Highly recommended! Jamie was also excellent and taught my wife how to play the guitar.
This is where black sabbath recorded their first two albuns :)
my name is Zach Agassi - a session guitarist and producer from Israel.
wanted to buy this amazing little mv50 clean amp to use as a direct recording clean amp, and for giging.
since it is not available in israel, and prices here are high anyway,
had a chance to buy it in london. (wife was there for a visit)
i contacted Dminic via mail and asked him for support with the purchase,
Dom gave me an excellent service, patient, professional and welcoming.
i truly recommend this special shop and its good people.
big up!
Great shop with a wide selection of new and pre-owned instruments. Some lovely vintage guitars to be had. Staff always friendly and happy to let you try stuff out, even if near closing time. Definitely a recommended stop if you're a muso in the Denmark Street area.
Regent Sounds is a lovely and full of history guitar shop. The range of guitars is great and all the staff make you feel at ease.
I bought there a Fender 60s Stratocaster last week and the manager went the extra mile during the set up. The guitar feels and plays exactly how I wanted. It was a great experience and I am planning to come back.
Bough a fender telecaster. Large range of guitars, I spent ages trying out several guitars, friendly crowd! Thanks Jack!
My partner went here for advice and to get something.
Staff are absolutely amazing! Very friendly and more than happy to help with anything.
I would highly recommend here.
I have been in this shop with my daughter as well as being equipped we have been welcomed with kindness and courtesy
Brilliant customer service, I would literally buy anything from them. They have a great selection of guitars and gear.
Good range of guitars and amplifiers, mainly Fender. Pedals and accessories to suit most tastes and knowledgeable friendly, but not pushy staff
Definitely the place to go for your guitar needs. Friendly, good advice along with a great range on display. If you're in the area, then my recommendation would be to go to Regent before going to the other places in the street.
Very friendly staff ! To visit this place was so much meaningful for me! The place where Root of Rock came from !
Historic place where Black Sabbath, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones etc recorded. Top grade music store as of today
I was sold the incorrect mastery bride for my guitar despite asking and giving specific detail about the model I was going to fit it into. Also, having done further research the mark-up on the price was quite high. I feel that I have been exploited as a younger tourist.
Went there today. Have no knowledge of guitars. Staff so helpful xxx
Been coming here for many years. Love it,Love guitars. I'm like a kid in a candy shop. Well worth a visit when your in London.
Two huge thumbs up for Regent Sounds from a buddy out in CANADA! Outstanding customer service, and the best price I could find for the product I ordered. I had been looking to buy a Broadcast by Hudson Electronic and not only did Regent Sounds have the best price out there, they also had a Regent Sounds exclusive version that they had done in collaboration with Hudson Electronic.
These gents are awesome to deal with. Initially I made a mistake my product selection (I ordered the wrong pedal), and in the shipping address and I didn't realize it until after the order had been placed and the transaction approved. I quickly sent an email to Regent Sounds requesting that the order be cancelled. Moment later (despite the facts that there's an 8 or 9 hour time difference between us), I received an email from Dominic letting me know that he had cancelled the order. I selected the right product, fixed the address, and away I went. The package arrived in just 1 week from when it was shipped. Very impressive. Could not be more pleased with the quality product or with the quality service and the unbeatable price. I highly recommend Regent Sounds!
I've bought a lot of stuff from here, guitars, amps, cables, cases, straps, you name it. The guys there are friendly & honest. It's where I go if I need anything guitar related & I'd recommend it to anyone.
The best shop on the street by a long shot, friendly relaxed atmosphere, a vast stock collection with staff that make you feel welcome.
Great shop with excellent range of basses, and knowledgeable staff who are friendly and helpful - they encourage hands on testing of instruments, and are eager to give advice, even to the total novice like me. Moreover - and maybe I shouldn't say this - if you ask, it's possible to get great deals here that you simple would never get online. PLUS, there's a 3-yr warranty on everything. I'm all for online shopping, but sometimes it pays to go to a bricks and motor store. Highly recommend a visit!
Really great shop, I've ordered a couple of things from here and the delivery is extremely fast, they were packaged really well and the price was the best around!
The team here really are terrific. Always happy to answer my questions and gave me excellent advice about purchasing a custom shop Stratocaster. Only neg is that I don't live closer to the store. Thanks fellas.
Amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Nice range of products and fair prices!
One of the best indie guitar shops, super friendly staff, expert knowledge, great in depth stock and perfect for popping in for a browse and coming out with that tele you know you had to have! Thankfully now open again.
Great shop with great selection of Gretsch & Fender.
Such a delight, amazing guitars around every corner, Well worth a visit even if you are only vaguely interested in guitars. An amazing trove of British guitars from the sixties. Awesome!
Loved the people there, they really helped me understand the wide variety of guitars they had
One amazing store! Friendly staff and amazing guitars in every prive range! From squier to custom shop!
Really friendly staff and a great "do-what-you-want" attitude, leading directly to the purchase of two lovely pedals in the last couple of weeks alone. Hope to be back soon, with more money in my pocket!
I've bought a classical guitar (Art Lutherie) and electric (Gretch Streamliner) from the store.
Expert assistance that was really patient with all my questioning.
It will be my first stop in the future!
I wanted to take the time to say how amazing these guys are.
I've plodded and noodled my way around all the shops in London today in search for a controversial strat that's not a strat.
Out of all the shops I've been to today this was the best. Real old school guitar shop and from what I have seen today, a rare thing.
Despite being 2 hours away from home I still may have to make this place my new local shop.
This is a must stop shop for anyone in town for some old school guitar shopping.
Fantastic staff
Great range of guitars
My favourite shop on Denmark street, top of the bunch
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF WHO ENJOY THEIR GUITARS AND MUSIC, NOT JUST A JOB.
THEY HAVE A VESTED INTEREST IN HELPING YOU WITH YOUR FIRST OR 5TH OR LAST CHOICE OF GUITAR.
WHATEVER YOUR GUITAR NEEDS FROM BEGINNER TO EXPERIENCE AND ESTABLISH, THEY'LL SORT YOU OUT.
THE SHOP'S A PLEASURE JUST A PLEASURE TO EXPLORE.
Love the guys here; Jack, Leon and Rob. Really kind and helpful. Always have a laugh and lots of fun.
Great ambience - great music and usually people playing the guitars. 100% recommend.
thats a good a to trick people in bass strings...SM66 i trusted this shop but find out to be not trust worthy when you buy stuff here..people trust you and dont take adavntage of it.... bad customer service and tricky ... i told you i checked my internet when i came to you .. you trick 15 pound strings to 20 ..i m complaning cause its not about money its about trust we do...
A good mix of vintage and new gear, great staff and a chilled environment to hang and jam in.
My daughter (12) was excited about her first electric guitar. The team were attentive, despite busy shop on Sat afternoon. "Take your time and enjoy choosing"
She tried a couple of different guitar /amp combinations and got 'sound advice'. No up-sell or over sell.
This is not just for novices. There were those who i suspect were professional /session guitarist.
Definitely recommended.... despite online alternatives, there is no substitute for the excitement, feedback and personal attention a true enthusiasts store can provide. We'll definitely return ..
There's a lot of music shops on this street, which means that you've got a lot to choose from. For some unknown reason I was drawn to this one first and I'm glad I was. I was quickly approached and assisted, the staff member there was a young man in his twenties who was extremely knowledgeable about the products. I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to guitars, so his advice was well received.
Fitted my strings when I got home and they were perfect. Thank you!
Great shop, totally packed with fantastic guitars! Maybe more electrics than acoustics. Many Dano, Telly, lots of footswitches! The guys inside are nice and very enthusiast!
Absolutely incredible shop with a great vibe - fantastic selection of guitars coupled with fantastic staff! Big up Luke (who is part of the team) - he helped me pick out a beautiful Gretsch today and a large part of my purchase was down to his knowledge and demeanour. It is true, this place has the best salesmen on Denmark Street. Can't recommend enough - if you are buying a guitar in London, Regent Sounds is the place to go!
Very interesting with the historical explanation of Rock Is Here
Great guitars/selection, if a little loud sometimes. Staff was incredible, started taking a guitar out of the racks and one employee helped me, plugged it into an amp, tuned it, adjusted the amp, and fetched me a pick. Really awesome!
Absolutely the Best and Greatest customer service ever! I am very happy with my purchases ! Thank you,Dom!
Awesome, with an interesting history. Wall to wall accessories, met the son of the owner and he oblidged signing a t-shirt too!
Not having bought a guitar in Denmark Street for probably 25 years, I happened upon a really good Mark Knopfler Stratocaster hanging on the wall during a quick browse. It stuck in my mind.
Upon my return home, I did some "Man Maths" and decided that I would have to have it.
I rang the shop and spoke with "Jake" who was very pleasant and answered all my questions (and more) in great detail. I paid a deposit over the phone and we agreed I'd collect at the weekend when it would have been checked over and had some new strings on.
The day arrived and I turned up. The guitar had not yet been done. They explained that they were very busy, but would do it for me right now, while I waited.
I went upstairs with the guitar tech, Leon, and we spent a very pleasant half hour chatting while he gave me free maintenance advice and my new baby the final touches it needed.
By the time I left, I felt I'd made a couple of new friends!
I went back a couple of months later, and was instantly recognized by the guys and asked how I was getting on with the Strat.
Needless to say, Regent Sounds is now my guitar shop of choice.
Guys, thanks a million. Long may you prosper!
Historical site where the Rolling Stones recorded their early successes.
Best staff and salesmen in Denmark Street. I always end up buying something when I go there. I bought my Fender Jaguar and a Duo Sonic for a friend and I couldn't be happier with it and the service they provide. They give you a two years warranty and you can go and get your guitar serviced. They have a great range of guitars, if you love Fenders, Gretsch and Danelectros look no further.
I just bought a Squier Jazzmaster from these guys and I must say that i was extremely happy with their customer service.
Thanks so much Rob and the guitar tech who set up my guitar.
Excellent job!
