If you have a referral program to appreciate customers referring others to your dealership that would be great. (i. e. gift card)

I frequent here for my car needs and this time I just needed help removing the screw from the housing to access my headlights. The screw was stripped so I called and asked if they could help me get the screw out. Joe from the service department hopped right to it and removed the screw and gave me a new screw. He took 5 minutes to help me so the least i could do is give my 5 minutes to provide feedback. Also the best part is he didn't charge me! Thanks Joe!

I have had wonderful service from your dealership ...

I have had wonderful service from your dealership in the past, because of that i will travel a few extra miles to go to Griffin Chevrolet. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation. ( I arrived at dealer ship around 12:30) We did the paper work to start the service. I expected the process to take at least an hour. I went to the customer lounge had a soda, I was maybe there 20 minutes max!! The service manager ( I cant remember his name ) came out to inform car was finished. It is because of results like this I will travel the extra distance, to get great service.

I'm only disappointed that there isn't more stars to give to Griffin Chevrolet. If I could give 10 stars I would. Our sales rep was John Dolan. John is very knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and kind. On our search for our new vehicle my wife and I went to 5 different dealerships. The only one that made us feel like we weren't just another customer was John and Griffin Chevrolet. John had the great ability of understanding what we did want and what we didn't want. We were very specific on the must haves in the vehicle we were purchasing. Several of the other dealerships would try to talk us into buying a vehicle that was missing the main features we were looking for and made it very obvious they were just looking for a sale and not looking to help us find the vehicle we wanted. Not once did John try to sell us something that we didn't want he focused in on what we did want and found us the exact vehicle we were looking for. I would highly recommend Griffin Chevrolet and I would even more highly recommend John Dolan to assist you in your next vehicle purchase. I must also mention that they gave us top dollar for our trade in vehicle. All around excellence! Thanks John from Arik & Samantha + all 5 little ones.

I don't understand why an oil change took almost...

I don't understand why an oil change took almost 1 hr. Wasn't even busy when I got there. Got right in as soon as I got there. Oil change took almost 30 mins and the paper work took like 20 mins. What's there to fill out?

How about this? While the oil change is being done, the paper work should have been done too so the customer can be in and out asap and not start on the paper work after.

I am the type who tries to be as efficient as possible and when I see others being inefficient with their time, it annoys me. Some of us don't have all day and it's not like my car was gettting some major work done to it.

Oil changes should be no longer than 20mins max. Mr. Car wash takes an average of 10 mins for a complete oil change + all the usual checks. I know because I timed those guys many times.

I just leased a new Equinox and had an overall great experience! Tim was extremely helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions. He even sent me pictures and a video of the car before I had a chance to come in and look at it! I felt very welcome at Griffin and will absolutely be recommending it to my friends! Poor overall service. I had to bring my vehicle in 4 separate occasions for the A/C in my 2009 GMC Acadia, each time there was a new part that needed to be replaced. I even asked about blend door accuators but was told they were fine, until finally they replaced them on the last visit and now everything works great. The 3rd time I came in, they tried to give me my car with part of the dash not reconnected which resulted in more wasted time and a 4th visit. Both Andrew and Mike would not return my calls when I had questions. Mike is the manager.

Don't waste your time, go somewhere where they value their customers.

Adriena and Alex were the best! Very personable. I walked in discouraged, I knew I wouldn t be able to get the car I wanted, but Adriena and Alex both assured me that I will get exactly what I wanted. I walked in close to store closing, and didn t feel rushed at all. They actually listened to my concerns and needs and confidentially told me I would get the car I wanted. What do you know, I walked away with a brand new 2018 Chevy Malibu (which is what I wanted)! I don t see myself going anywhere or referring anyone anywhere else but GRIFFIN!! & to top it off, Adriena gave me a gift. Best car sales company I ve ever been to. Thanks Griffin!!!

I was not acknowledge by any employee until I walked in an area that I must've not went to. Then, by getting my attention, the man banged on the window and waved me in to where he was. The time that elapsed waiting for my oil change was 1 1/2 hours. Finally, when the work was completed I was asked to sign three documents and I noticed one had writing on it , which stated there are some other issues wrong with my vehicle. The issue with that is that I had to inquire about it or the clerk was going to let me leave and "figure it out", I guess.

Galen Price really made sure I was well taken care of in terms of my service. He ensured that my vehicle was in great hands at all times. I was able to have a rental that suited all my needs. I love the 2019 Chevy Equinox to the end- didn't want to return it at all. The customer service present to me was phenomenal & uplifting. Mr. Price made contact with me every step of the process. Well I called with a Hypothetical Question and I got a Hypothetical answer.
I was married to a mechanic my Sons works for a Dealership and and I was taught my car my responsibility to check and maintain whats under the hood. However, this Pandemic stuff and not driving many miles between my last oil fluid check I thought I could hold off to till I needed to change out for winter. Well I was told very nicely it would be cheaper to have and oil change than to have to replace an engine. So hence I heeded this mans words and came in an did just as was suggested. As always was taken care of and everyone was extremely pleasant and I didn't have to embarrass myself. LOL
Right and no I would not want my Son to know that either.

Former employee here. Ive seen the inner workings of this dealership. Very ethical, efficient, friendly and professional. I still take my car here despite working elsewhere. Several of the techs are crazy smart and talented. Tim, Brad, Todd and Travis are my go to guys. Jobs done right the first time.

Steve is a wonderful salesperson. He did everything he could to get me the Chevy Spark I wanted. He was upfront and honest about what he could do to help us. Steve went above and beyond to get me the car's features and color I wanted. My husband and I were very impressed with the service we received at Bergstrom Chevrolet. Steve spent additional time setting up all the added features in the car which was very helpful and we appreciate all he did for us.

We will be referring our friends and family to Bergstrom Chevrolet.

This was my first visit to Griffin Chevrolet. At my Monday 7am appointment I was greeted with pleasant smiling people. Galen (pardon my possible misspelling), got me setup. I had a tight window of time to get my services complete. Galen realized very quickly that the work required may not fit into my time window and offered a loaner vehicle to cover the time I needed a car that morning. Galen, happily answered any questions I had. The whole experience was efficient and very pleasant. I am very happy with my experience at Griffin Chevrolet.

I would highly recommend this location for all vehicle needs

Working with the Body Shop Dept, specifically TJ, I was thoroughly impressed with not only his professionalism but also thoroughness and taking care of my matter. Made me feel very confident with regards to a minor repair needed to my vehicle and the insurance company contact. I would go to no other Chevrolet dealer in the Milwaukee area! Thanks so much !

Be very caution and prepared if you plan to purchase a car from Griffin Chevy.

First and foremost, multiple people At Griffin told me KBB/CarFax/Guru/Edmunds/you name a creditable car pricing site, was not accurate and they do not agree with the pricing. Even when multiple sites produced the same price range. This is a wild stance I ve never seen from a car dealership and the fact it was all the staff I talked with, means it is coached that way.

2nd-Whatever their initial trade in offer is, you can 100% get them up at least another $1000-$2000, depending on the actual KBB value of your car. They lowball that offer and when you disagree, they will tell you your car is garbage and they will probably just use it for parts (even my 2016 $20k SUV). Ya ok!

Finally, if they give you a final, rock bottom price , it s BS. They will continue to come down. Set your own rock bottom price and be prepared to walkout. They WILL call you, Email you, Text you. The GM, Manager, Experienced Sales person, Expert sales person, owner (nice try), will stay in contact with you and continually lower the price.

In short, Griffin uses every sales tactic in the book. Their cars are extremely over priced, their trade in offers are a joke and the staff is arrogant and will talk down to you (they must not know the internet exist). Do your own research, set your price cutoff and be prepared to play the game. I m really glad I cut off communication and bought from a neighboring dealership. I will never step foot on their property again.

Steve Brandofina is the epitome of a great professional. He sets an example of what it means to go above and beyond for his customers. I did not know what I would do for a vehicle and he put me into a 2016 Malibu and explained all the benefits and features. He also guided me to make a great decision and if I could score him a 110 out of 10 I would! Thanks for having such a great staff. My whole experience was punctual and fantastic. Michelle was great. Worst experience ever. Just like everyone else we are looking for a deal with low miles. I had found a 2011 Chevy Cruz online and it was essentially listed at $8000 which isn't awful, I know. I was from 2 hours away and drove to Milwaukee to check it out. However we took it for a test drive and there was a slight noise in the engine, I was guessing it was from the direct intake engine type (not super familiar with them), so I asked about it and the sales rep said, "You are just supposed to buy the car, I have been selling cars for a lot of years and no one have ever asked me questions like this. You are supposed to just buy it." I had elaborated to him that you don't just buy things like this and hope for the best and you have to do research and make sure that you are making a good purchase. He nodded and said, "first you must really want it and we can talk about price but I won't be able to go down much." I had stated I will take it and lets talk about price.

He then took us to his office and without even making an offer took $110 off the original price and said that "he would make our time coming down there." I had rejected the offer and stated $7500. He laughed and left for about 10 Minutes and came back. I was in no rush because I know how car dealers can be. He said he can go to $7800. We said how about $7600. As we sat there, there was a picture frame flipping through pictures on his desk of his in ground pool and essentially perfect life per say and he comes back and says that he can't do that because the car is worth $10,400. I had told him unfortunately I don't know where he got that number from the there is no way that the car is worth that much and I had explained to him that the bank apprised it at $9300 and he said "then you know it is a deal already." I agreed and said yes for $7700 we will take it today. He had said "That's only another $100 why are you making it such a big deal?" My response was, "If it isn't a big deal then why can't you drop it the $100 because I can see *pointing at the picture frame* that you also push for that extra money."

He freaked out and said that he works 6 days a week to afford that and I stated that my other half, who was buying the car, works 7 because Military and his civilian job, and that we also work hard for our money.

It became a childish battle with a 60+ year old man. We decided to leave because it was just not an environment you want to buy a car from. He had someone to come in to talk to us to see if there was anything else we needed AFTER we decided we are leaving and I never wanted to get out of a place so bad in my life.

We ended up buying closed to home and found the same car 3 years newer and 45,000 less miles for what that car was "worth". Don't ever get stuck buying something you don't want from rude people.

He ended up calling me, leaving me a voice mail, and texting me the next day stating that he would take $7700. Unfortunately I stick to my word as much as they stuck to theirs. WE DID NOT BUY!

If you are reading this and my story I hope you either take this into consideration or have a better time!

It was not an easy experience, however, I was patiently enough to deal with them because of our communication barriers. This service did not provide a certified sign-language interpreter at the time of my visitations, however, I called them by using my video phone device as well as we were with a third party from the Sorenson Company before I came there. In few days later, it seemed that they were not prepared to meet me there. But it was a good thing, one of people remembered me and treated me accordingly by knowing how to figure out the best ways of communication accesses. That was why my experience with the Griffin Chevrolet was not great, just #5 in the range. It would not be impossible to rate a 10 number if we have small issues in our communication system. I am truly sorry for putting a #5 rate because it was an honesty way to tell you. And I know you won't put this message into a publication as you would hope me to allow you to put down my response. Few months ago, they did provide me a certified sign-language interpreter for four hours, and it was a great experience between me and your finance manager, and your sales person. On the day of purchased my brand new car, Chevrolet Blazer 2020, my hearing partner helped me out in dealing with the sales person on May 29. I feel bad for my Chuck who have lost his free times on that day, because Chuck is not a certified sign-language interpreter.

Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff. Paperwork process was quick and streamlined. I really liked being able to take an extended test drive so I could make sure my equinox was a good fit for me and what I needed. I will definitely be referring my friends and family when they need new vehicles. Steve and Brad were both great to work with.

My wife and I are looking for a used luxury suv. We had a couple of really terrible experiences with a couple of car dealers, including one only a 20 minute drive from Griffin Chevrolet. We left that place disgusted by the stereotype we met and were about to call it a day when my wife found a vehicle online at this dealership.

We called and were put in touch with Ted Harris, a sales guy. He said I m looking at that vehicle right now! I thought, here we go again. We get there, Ted meets us at the door. The SUV is sitting in the showroom right in front of his office!

This guy is a rock star. He really worked with us well, answered questions, found answers to questions he didn t have (no smoke blowing) and really did everything very well.

We didn t buy from him, but it was the car not meeting our needs, not anything Ted or Griffin Chevrolet did wrong. It s a two hour trip to his dealership from our home and I will gladly make the trip to work with him again if the opportunity arises.

My experience with the service department was absolutely great. I took my truck in for some maintenance and ran into a small problem. A team member named Alex was super awesome and jumped on the issue right away. I even had a chance to interact with the service manager, Carlee, who was obviously the example the staff was modeling after! She smoothed everything out. Totally made me feel relaxed and confident in their service. Needless to say everything worked out great, couldn t be more happier! Carlee and Alex are godsends! Wonderful customer service all around at Griffin Chevy. I worked with Ted Harris in sales and Linda up front. Both provided absolutely amazing customer service. I went to five dealerships in the greater Milwaukee area before finding my vehicle and Griffin Chevy was absolutely the best in customer service.

I had a fabulous experience with Griffin Chevy. My sales professional, Kyle Kiley (aka, KK) was friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly for me she was not at all pushy (as I had experienced with a different dealership). I ended up buying the car on the spot, and she put in extra effort to get the details sorted out. Similarly the finance professional, Mo, was informative but not pushy when discussing the extended warranty and optional interior/exterior protection packages. I highly recommend this dealership and KK if you are in the market for a new or used car!

This was my first time I visited Griffin Chevrolet in Milwaukee. I was searching for a very specific car and they had the car I wanted. Adreina Oden was able to get me into a 2018 Chevy Cruze for a great price. She was an excellent saleswoman that showed me all the exciting new features the car had to offer. I definitely will be recommending Griffin Chevrolet in Milwaukee to everyone I know.

I would not buy a vehicle from this dealer, or if you do I would perform a lot of research to make sure that you are paying a fair price. I bought a used corvette from them that turned out to be MASSIVELY ($5-$7k) overpriced. I know part of that is my fault for not being smarter, but looking back now they used every trick in the book and overall I had/have a very seedy feeling about the place. I have been in and out of other GM dealers too, and I can't say the others leave a much better impression.

This vette has had an issue with the airbag system faulting out which disables the airbags. If you look online, this is a known issue with the C6 model and GM refuses to acknowledge it. It has been fixed for now, but based on what I've read it will probably come back, conveniently once the CPO warranty has expired I'm sure.

Final advice:it seems like this dealership likes to use standard and overcharge by quite a large amount, at least for corvettes. I would strongly advise any buyer to do research online (clearbook and truecar are good sources). KBB and the NADA value do not mean much and are more just a suggested listing price for the dealer to start at.

I would have rated this place 5 stars because initially the service department was quick and efficient, but then there was an issue...

Took my car in Friday to get a check engine light diagnosed and repaired. I ve been having an issue with emissions for a while and the failed paperwork came back with 4 codes. Service told me what it was and that it would resolve the check engine light issue. It was over $500 to repair. Saturday afternoon (less than 24 hours) the light came back on. I figured it ll be fine I can just have them figure it out Monday. They tell me that if it s the same code they ll fix it but if it s something else it would be repair costs PLUS another diagnostic fee. Here s the thing. I don t care about the repair cost, but the another diagnostic fee is unacceptable to me. I asked them to figure out why my light was on and they said they did. If they would have told me it was MULTIPLE issues with MULTIPLE costs to begin with, I would have been fine and I could have saved up some money for the repair or paid the same day. What s to say there won t be 4-5 issues with in a week? So I potentially would have to pay $450-500 JUST to figure out what s wrong on top of the repair costs if they can't figure it out with one diagnosis?!? That s unreasonable.

I feel like if they would have taken the appropriate amount of time to diagnose the problem they could have found the issue and just charged everything at once. How can an emissions machine find 4 issues FOR FREE, autozone can read my engine and find multiple issues FOR FREE, but I pay this dealership $103 and they tell me they can only see one at a time and give me an oh well attitude. Unacceptable. Do they think because I'm a woman that I know nothing about cars? I may not be a mechanic, but I'm certainly not stupid. This is exactly why I was so reluctant to go to a dealership to begin with. They're always trying to take advantage of people.

I have been getting my oil changed at this locatio...

I have been getting my oil changed at this location for over four year. The service has sways been exceptional, however over the last few oil changes the quality and customer service has declined I guess due the employee turnover. I got my oil changed this past Saturday at which they forgot to reset my light and when I looked over the paperwork after there inspection that never put down that my wiper blade need to be replaced at which you could see it torn it was checked ok on the paperwork. Interesting it caused a red flag so now I m wondering how reliable is there service.
