A BAD REVIEW TAKEN CARE OF.

I am from Bismarck North Dakota. I drove 9 hours to find a specific rav4 for my fiance. The salesman Justin was absolutely Great. He bought us breakfast and made the experience great for us. We had a little trouble at the dealer with the financial department. I didn't think it would turn into such a big deal as it did. Because our sales tax is 5% and omaha was 7% the financial rep, who I will keep nameless said "let's charge you 7.5% just to be on the safe side" fine with us. We signed the papers and we were out the door heading straight back home. Fast forward 3 months. I get a paper from the dmv ( I still have not received my plates) that says you need to send in some paperwork missing from the dealer, and $253 that you owe. It seemed a bit odd as I had already paid them and should actually be receiving money back from them. Come to find out the "estimate" they made for sales taxes was actually only 4.33% which is no states sales tax. After talking to the financial person about it they told me "there is nothing we can do about it". I would think if anything, they would own up to the mistake, and at least pay something since I shelled out $31k on a car from them that I still don't have plates for 3 and a half months down the road.

Update: The vice president called me personally. He said he was shocked by the way the situation was handled. He said that is not how he runs his business, and his staff should know that. He said that he would make everything right, and I received a check in the mail for the sales tax difference, plus extra so "me and my fiance can go out to supper on them". It takes a good business owner, to own up to a mistake, and fix the issue. I will back in the future.

My oil change is as quick not to mention he cleaned my floor mats off! Impressed with the service and conversation. Highly recommended and definitely will be coming back!!

Honestly I will never ever be back to this place! Horrible customer service, awful prices and they will mislead you! Have had this problem several times with them and we went back after an absence and they were worse than ever. Had a 9:15 am appointment and they called us at 3:30 pm asking if they could fix it the next day and that they hadn't started. When I said I wanted it the day I brought it in they mentioned another $1,600 in repairs they thought I should do when I brought it in to fix a door handle. Magically within 45 minutes they were done with my car and it was pretty shocking how much the labor cost when they were done so quickly. Don't waste your time on this place as they will just steal your money!

I was very happy with the service I received at Gregg Young. Bob was exceptionally patient, attentive to detail, and a great listener. I came in knowing what I wanted but also having questions and concerns. He remembered them and discussed them with me along with other questions that came up during my four visits before I purchased the car. Drake was also very attentive to every detail, paying attention to what was most important to me. He worked hard to get my paperwork done quickly and efficiently. He was well prepared and knew his job.

I ve been going to Gregg Young for 5 years and I love this place! I live in Council Bluffs and continue to go here! The only down fall is, they cannot remember me and no matter how many times I tell them I want my car washed, they never do. Which is ok, because I have a membership from Russell Speeders. Im probably going to start going to a closer location. If you live in this area, this is a great place to go!

At $109 for an oil change in my diesel you would think they would lube the joints and at very minimum top off the windshield washer reserve. Heading back to the last place I went to, $75 did all above plus vacuumed and washed the inside and out of my windows. NO car wash but I did not get one at G Young's either. Keep in mind Young, sometimes its the small things and attention to detail that keeps people happy and coming back. You're not going to go broke without my support but I maybe one of many ?

We ran out of gas on the test drive, we re taking advantage of by the sales and finance team to buy things we didn t want, never received an owners manual, messed up paperwork, and they still haven t processed the title. Brian was amazing. We were really in a bind with our car and he did everything he could to give us all the information about all of our options and helped us choose the best choice. He found exactly what I wanted in a new car and walked us through everything. Even though the timing wasn't great and it wasn't really ideal for us to get a new car at this time Brian made it go smoothly and everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our entire experience.

We just purchased our second vehicle with Dom Catania at Gregg Young Chevrolet in Omaha. Dom listened to the needs of our family and had my dream wheels waiting for me upon my arrival. It was perfect! Everything I had requested.

I took a spin in the Corvette Cafe for some delightfully delicious Tex-mex in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, courtesy of my request by Chef Ryan. Even if you are not in the market for a car, you should cruise on down and enjoy the menu for a Saturday lunch.

The paperwork was a breeze thanks to Rodney in finance. His genuine spirit and caring personality made the process easy and quick.

All in all, the whole process was faster than it took me to write this review.

If you are in the market for a set of wheels or need maintenance, stop by this 5 establishment. You won t be disappointed!!

Worst service ever. Went in for a simple oil change but they are so concerned with upselling that there is zero quality in any work they actually do. Had to go back twice and second time got attitude from them. Management returned a call, agreed that I wasnt treated right, said he would look into it and get back to me and I never heard back. Cook at the diner by the waiting room even forgot to cook my order and was unapologetic so clearly the attitude that you are there to kiss their @$$ is across the board

I always go to Gregg Young to service my vehicles because they are honest with me and don't try to sell me things I don't need, even though I don't know a lot about vehicle maintenance myself. They keep all the data on my car in their computer system and notify me when various routine maintenance items are due. I've been working with Josh Stahr for years and he's great!

Overall a great experience. Went there to look at a specific used 2017 Tahoe we saw online and once we walked through the door to see if they had it, within minutes we were on our test drive. Salesman was fantastic and even bought us lunch. Finance went smoothly. Even got to meet the previous owner since he worked there. Only reason I dropped a star was the detailing took a long time to finish for us to be on our way.

I would love to give Gregg Young Chevrolet ten stars if I were able. About two and a half weeks ago I had traveled 4 hours to purchase a vehicle from a Honda dealership in the Omaha area. Less than 2 weeks from the purchase I turned on the AC for the first time to find it did not work. Through a series of events and a story too long to tell in this review my vehicle (a Chevy Traverse) was moved by the Honda dealer to Gregg Young for repairs as they were not equipped to handle them at their site. The kicker is the Honda dealership declined to pay for this very expensive repair stating I was responsible. Enter the staff at Gregg Young. This team was fabulous. Absolutely fabulous. Rather than send me home in a vehicle without AC they found a comparable Traverse on their lot (to be honest this vehicle is significant upgrade, lower miles, leather interior, DVD, and dual sunroof). They bought out my loan, financed this new vehicle, and got me set up with their extensive service agreement. I could not have been happier with the situation. I should add the night I was left stranded in Omaha with three kids and no working vehicle the folks at Gregg Young set me up with a courtesy vehicle. THE DEALERSHIP THAT WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SITUATION FOLKS. These were the people looking out for me and my family. Special thanks go to Trent and Bryan in the service department who took care of me when stranded and went to bat for me to get this bill paid. To Chelsa Burr my saleswoman and to Ryan Reynolds who took care of the financial side. You folks are truly an asset to your team and helped guide me through an otherwise ugly situation. Also to the fellow in the desk across the aisle from Chelsa. I realize I never got your name but seriously the humor you brought to my situation really put me at ease. Thank you!!!

This was my first time buying a brand new vehicle. Dominicio Catania, Drake Menuis and KT were the best. They walked me through everything. Took their time to make sure I understood everything. A great bunch of guys. I would recommend them everytime. Great job guys and thank you so much.
Made my 1st service appointment for my Colorado. It was easy peasy on the ChevyApp. They called me in like 10 minutes to verify. They got me in first thing Tuesday morning. The service was awesome and less then 45 minutes. Great job guys as always.

Everyone at Gregg Young was phenomenal!! This was my first time purchasing a car ever. They helped me get a deal that I could afford in the car I wanted. Robin was so sweet and helpful. Everything went so smoothly. Ryan who helped me sign my paperwork went above and beyond. They also helped to get me the basic extension plan and GAP insurance included in a monthly payment I could afford. I will absolutely be a repeat customer. A young financing manager named Phil Hamburger, is Ill equipped to be the financing manager... They push the vehicle warranty WAY to hard. I made an online appointment to get an oil change and an inspection. I got a phone call telling me that I don't need the appointment to just show up and they will be able take care of it. I think it was called quick service or something like that. Anyway I show up a little before 7 AM when they open, they don't open the service doors until after 7 AM and then the guy tells me it will be about and hour and a half before my car is done. I was not planning on that at all and one reason I like the appointment is then I can either get a ride or loaner so I am not there wasting that time at the dealer. Also most of the staff isn't wearing masks as required.

The oil change was done nicely and quickly. The reason for 4 stars (instead of 5 stars) is when I tried to schedule the oil change online - I was not contacted until the next day. I finally had to call directly and schedule it myself. Lesson learned.

Setting up the appointment online wad a mess. Thought I had it set up and tire was in stock. Good thing service called. They had me down for service, but no time, vehicle or what needed. My email confirmation did have it all. Tire wasn't in stock so the had to get it from another. When service called we had to change my scheduled time because tire wasn't there. Came in at scheduled time. Took over 2.5 hours to get a new tire put on.
Did get correct tire and waiting room was clean.

I've had several interactions with their service team over the last few months and each employee remains consistent with their individual level of service. This must be a core value of Gregg Young because this doesn't happen by mistake.

Showed up for an oil change and tire rotation and was helped immediately, as it was first time there, they told me where everything was and about when to expect it to be finished, and it was done very quickly. They washed the car, and also vacuumed the passenger and driver floor mats! Very happy and pleased with the experience.
