My ability to pay was not of concern. My attorney treated me like any deserving person should be. She has represented me well and taken my opinion into consideration. And helped along the process. I couldn t be more grateful. I am so thankful for Community Justice.

As a professor who researches and studies law firms, I can say that this one is a rare, special type: it's a nonprofit that only serves low-income and modest income clients, it does charge fees, but those fees are based on a client's income.

I started contacting Community Justice for Bankrup...

I started contacting Community Justice for Bankruptcy representation February 22nd 2013. It is now October 3rd 2013 and I am still waiting.... I call weekly and leave messages and noone returns my calls. In 8 months I have called many times. When I first called I spoke with someone who did the intake and told me I would qualify and I would get a callback in 7-10 days with more information from the attorney. 3 months later I hadn't received a call and called weekly and finally once when I called someone actually answered and after explaining my frustrations I was put through to Paul Bryant. Paul informed me they would represent me. I told him I would be in touch with him when I came up with the money. A month later I called and again nothing. It has been 4 months since I told Paul I would like to proceed and have never heard anything - I call weekly and leave messages and never hear anything. It is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!
